The issue I had with frozen custard pints on a recent visit has been more than satisfactorily resolved - they gave me a free 4-pack, which way more than made up for the issue. I said I'd stop in on 10/31 when dark chocolate decadence would be the flavor of the day, and that I'd get two pints of vanilla and two pints of dark chocolate decadence. Where can I start. This evening was by far my worst customer service experience I've ever had with any fast food employee. The place was busy, which seemed to be due To a fundraiser which I fully understand. Drive thru missed some food on my order so I went in to inquire about the remainder. That is when HALEY at the front literally ripped the receipt out of my hand. To the point that I even had to confirm what just happened with another worker who witnessed the whole thing. It was so fast she left me a paper cut. She then proceeded to stare me up and down. At this point I was ready to make a scene, but given there was a ton of kids I went with better judgement. I want it known I have been a patron at this location since opening, but I have never felt so belittled by an employee in my 33 years of life. I was literally wearing a Santa Hat, being a nice person. I truly hope this is addressed as I will no longer be patronizing. But others don't need to be subject to that disrespect. Our first time at a Culver's. You order at the counter, get your drink and they bring the food out to you.... FAST!! Our party consisted of a cod plate, a shrimp plate and a fresh salad with cranberries. Food was perfect , the cod was the best I've had outside of Florida. Went to the Sugar Grove Culver's and ordered a single Wisconsin Burger and thought I was being pranked. I thought it looked thin and wondered if they forgot the burger. Opened on half and found nothing Opened the other half and found a piece about half the size and half the thickness of a breakfast sausage patty. No kidding, it was smaller than a White Castle patty but those are $1 and this was $6. These people are taking "shrinkflation" to an entirely new level. Good thing I ordered it with catsup and mustard or I would have starved to death. So tired of this switch and bait. Don't waste your time and money. So disappointing. read more

This Culver's is one of the worst I frequent. The orders are prepared wrong half the time. Today both burgers were different than ordered. I called the manager, Todd, which I don't typically bother to do. After explaining what happened, Todd said he would prepare the correct meal for me to pick up - if I had the pink receipt on the bag. THERE WAS NO PINK RECEIPT ON THE BAG! He said he couldn't help me. I said I'd never return to his store. Culver's should do better. read more

If I could give no stars, I would, for the Sugar Grove, IL location. I had a Culver's coupon for buy one get one free 2-scoop sundae. The cashier would not accept the coupon stating "they do not participate". The coupon was not expired. As a result, I will take the coupon and my business elsewhere. read more

This particular Culver's had never disappointed me. The food is always well prepared, the service at the counter is courteous and the restaurant itself is always clean. You just can't help but appreciate a fast food restaurant that is obviously well managed. read more

Every time I've gone to this location it's a 40 minute wait with cars wrapped around the building. Take a play out of portillos book and get employees outside taking orders to move things along quicker. read more

Yep, it's a Culver's. The burgers are sort of like a smashed down version of a Wendy's burger so a double is not all that extreme. And, they serve things like deep-fried cheese curds too. The big draw for most is the frozen custard. They have Vanilla and Chocolate pretty much every day and a special flavor of the day which you can look up on their website or see posted on their sign. All in all, it is pretty standard fast food with the bonus of the custard. I ate lunch there today (the first day it was open) so it was really clean and the staff was friendly. Only time will tell if that holds up. read more

Been to several Culvers but have to say the staff here was truly remarkable. They appeared to work so well together and are very attentive to the customers. Much appreciated. I always talk about getting the butter burger (I know who doesn't) but then again am tempted by the fish sandwich or the chicken. Hard decision to make, especially when Culvers is not near by. They were patient with me while I drooled over the counter making up my mind. Butter Burger won out again! Food came up nice and hot just as ordered presented by a smiling person. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to take a pic, my hands just scooped up the burger and before I new it, the BB was gone. So sorry, you will have to wait until my next visit. Clean restaurant. Hubby had the shrimp dinner which was very tasty and you could actually see and taste shrimp! We have a question for Culvers - please come to Elburn - you would love the area (which is booming with new homes) and we would truly love having our own Culvers. This place screws up my order every sigle time I go there. Tonight I went to my local Culver's for a quick dinner after track, asked for a single butterburger with bacon. I come home to a patty smashed inbetween two buns. Oh and don't forget about the two peices of burnt nasty bacon squished inbetween. My mom asked for a salad with no chicken. Comes home to chicken. This place has disapointed me several times, not only with service. They disapointed me with quality. For all the ads hyping this place up, it's complete garbage. I know that this location has been open only for a few months but some corrections need to be made. A) Clean the windows - all of them have kid's finger prints on them. B) 95% of the time when you walk in to place your order, everyone behind the counter is not facing the customer; they're facing the kitchen. Sometimes you have to wait 20 seconds to be recognized as a customer. You have to remember who your customer is and acknowledge them right away. Do the owners spend time at this location?
