Amazing people. Even my kids noticed how everyone was so nice. The food was great too. Colin, the cashier, was a breath of fresh air! Also, my child needed to use the bathroom right when one of the team members was about to start cleaning it, and he was so patient and kind. Culvers is in the In-and-Out of the Midwest. I sort of dream about these amazing butter burgers.... thin, crisped-up patties with lots of crags to capture the goodness of the butter, cheese and condiments. Everything tastes as fresh as a fatty burger can taste. I'm not like all over the fries, but that's probably because I'd mostly rather sink my teeth into two of the sandwiches instead. I highly recommend the Double Deluxe, sub Cheddar (American is processed product, and just gross)... this place originated in Wisconsin; you have to get real cheese on that puppy. Double = double patties, double cheese. Deluxe = Deluxe condiments (lettuce, tomato, pickle(?), mayo, etc). The menu is big and confusing, so just stick with the recommendation. :) It's unfortunate that they're not located in the city of Chicago, but it's great for your road trips up the far side of the lake. They'll bring your food out to the patio if you need some fresh air, just let them know you're headed out there. read more

I've been to this Culver's a number of times, and I've never had a bad experience; my sandwiches have always been well-made, my fries have always been hot, and my custard has always been cool and tasty. Stopped here to try a burger and shake it had been a few years. Regular single burger with ketchup pickle onion. Meat was cooked to crispy texture on one side. Nice crunch but not what I was thinking of. Chocolate shake was soft serve and twice the amount of sugar needed. Not impressed. read more

The food here is so good. It's like steak and shake but way better. Good service usually. They are busy and have longish lines sometimes but the employees seem to keep things moving nice and quick. We stop at this Culver's on our way to Detroit from Chicago. Always friendly, good food, and clean inside. Butter burger basket + frozen custard and we're all set. In the summer, you can sit outside. Culvers has delicious veggie burgers, french fries, and cheese curds. One of the best fast food places I have ever been to. Unfortunately, they offer custard. Frozen custard is disgusting on principle, but luckily there is a Dairy Queen across the street if you have any room for dessert. read more

I didn't know that heaven took a form of a business! I have an in with the owner, so I get unlimited curds. Not really, but a man can dream. The Culver's is the center of our town on a street that is filled with Subways, McDonalds, and the tyrant Long John Silvers. I mean, who goes to Long John Silvers?! No one in the name of History has ever said, "Let's go to Long John Silver." Wanna know why no one ever said it? Cause when they did, their friends had to remove them from society. They have the 'wow' factor here and care about the experience! I had one of those experiences through the drive through....my order did get switched around. I filled out the comment card and was pretty honest. Within an hour I got a call from the store and a genuine apology and a sincere offer to make it right. What I did not know it was a fundraiser night and the extra help is who unfortunately mixed up my order. The store leadership did not make any excuses and wanted to make it right! Well done, very well done! I will be back. Especially knowing they care and want to deliver a positive experience to the community (by offering a fundraising option for local charities) and their customers. Thank you. read more
