They also have different specialty cocktails throughout the year. -Cheese curds...I know, it's Wisconsin, but these are right up there with the elite. Cons: -I'll let you know when I find some. We've been to Crafty Cow several times over the last year, probably four or five times, and we've always been impressed by how friendly the waitstaff and bar staff are. The owner is also very nice and clearly involved, which I think is cool. I almost always order the same thing: the chicken strip meal, which comes with three huge strips and a large side of fries. The chicken here is really interesting because it's marinated in pickle brine. You can definitely taste the brine, and it adds something you didn't even realize was missing. My wife used to order the same thing, but now she tries something different each time because she knows she can share my strips. Everything she has tried has been good. Also worth mentioning: they have really good ranch dressing. I was surprised when I looked up Crafty Cow on Yelp and saw that it had less than four stars. Looking at some of the older reviews, I'm guessing it may have had a bit of a rocky start. But based on our experiences, Crafty Cow has been consistently great, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

A couple Saturday's ago I came here with my friend and her husband. I've been here once before, but…read moreit was almost 5 years ago for a couple drinks with another friend. I was looking forward to the food because I was pretty hungry. The place is not big and if you want a seat at the bar you wanna get up there right when they open up. I went with a build your own sandwich. I got a crispy chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese, bacon and a side of house chips. That was a SIZEABLE chicken sandwich! This, thing was crispy, juicy and the bacon was cooked just right. The only thing is that the flour that they used to dredge the breast in could've been seasoned. If they would use a little garlic & onion power, salt & pepper it would've taken it to another level. But overall it was a pretty good sandwich. The bartender Delayna was a rockstar! When it started to get a little busy she made sure that everyone was taken care of. She was in fact the hostess with the mostess :). I definitely would come back again.

Pros: - Nice staff -…read moreGreat service - Great food...try the ribs and brisket egg rolls!!! - BBQ Sauce...they make and sell their own sauce and the traditional sauce and mustard sauces were our favs. - Very reasonable prices for the quality of food. Cons: - Corn bread, which was highly touted, was underwhelming...I'd sub it with a different side. - Pulled pork was a little tasteless, but this might be due to the fact that the other meats we tried were so good. We were looking to try something different and after looking around on Yelp we settled on Boondocks. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were pretty surprised to find that it was mostly empty, although they had a ton of people working. We were promptly seated by the hostess after being warmly greeted and ordered a few drinks. We were meeting some friends so we ordered the brisket egg rolls and an appetizer to get us started. When they were delivered our waitress, who was really nice, gave a quick rundown of the different BBQ sauce options and we were off. The egg rolls were amazing, crispy wonton wrapper filled with smoked brisket and cheddar cheese and a touch of BBQ sauce. We tried all of the BBQ sauces, with the winner being their regular BBQ mixed with a little bit of the mustard BBQ sauce. These were awesome and we ended up saving one, which was hard, for our friends to try out when they arrived. When our friends got there we decided to order 2 of the sampler platters so that we could get a good benchmark. The sampler came with 4 sides so we went with seasoned fries, mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, and potato salad. The other things that were included in the sampler were corn bread, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The ribs were phenomenal and I would definitely just order these stand alone next time. The brisket was also very tasty. The pulled pork was average, in my opinion, so I am counting that as a miss. The sides were all good, with the exception of the corn bread. I though that it was under cooked and didn't match the hype. Overall a killer late lunch/early dinner and this would have probably been a 5* review if I had just ordered the ribs with the seasoned fries and subbed the corn bread with any other side that we tried. We will definitely be back.

We recently held both a bridal shower and a wedding reception at the restaurant. The restaurant manager, Mark, and his event crew, did a fantastic job with both events. All the guests were impressed by the ambiance of the event and the quality of the food. If you're looking for a good meal, or planning an event, this restaurant should be at the top of your list.

The place is veteran owned and has a military flare to the decor. For our area, this is welcome and we have nothing like it. They also frequently have live music, and I do love me some live music. The service has been great both time I was there. I sat at the bar the first time and a table the second...just to make sure the service was great in both locations! Of course bar service is always faster because you are right in front of them, but I will say I did not have to wait at any point to sit, order, or pay. They were friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure everything tasted as good as it looked. When I go to places that run specials I am voted less likely to order off the menu and I have stuck with that philosophy with SteelTank. The first time I had a steak and shrimp pasta. It was so good I could not stop eating it. I ate nearly all of it and had zero regrets, but I was happy I had a few bites left to enjoy the next day. Second stop, Sausage & Pepperoni stuffed Bavarian pretzel. This pizza of the week is delicious! The pretzel is cut in half and stuffed and not hollowed out as most places do. You can see from the pictures it is stuffed and you can taste the pizza. Greens with a pizza you say? YES! So good, the vinaigrette dressing that is on that pretty little salad is making my mouth water as I type! Specials were not mentioned either time I went. The specials are posted on Facebook and that is how I knew about SteelTank and what I should order. That would be my only complaint, when you receive a menu patrons should be told what the specials are - or - post it somewhere so people know.

First, the place is cash only...had to find an ATM nearby before we could even order. We couldn't order at the counter ourselves, and had to wait for a one of the car hop girls to take our order. They forgot the brat, the burger was only as thick as the slice of unmelted cheese on it, and was drenched in ketchup...slid apart as soon as I picked it up. Fries were okay, shakes were pretty good.
