Used the Culvers phone app for the first time. It had been a while since my last visit to this restaurant, and I encountered some challenges during my recent experience. When I arrived, it was dark, and I overlooked the parking signage and parked in the wrong area. After waiting about 10 minutes from when I requested my order to be ready, I called the store. A team member promptly answered, apologized for the delay, and returned my order shortly thereafter. I appreciate their understanding regarding my parking situation. On a positive note, the food quality was excellent, and I look forward to returning! read more

Well, let's start off with assisting that the customer is a man and calling them, sir and then laughing at them when they tell them that is wrong and they don't appreciate them laughing at them. Someone needs to teach those girls the word I'm sorry I was mistaken or actually not address anybody my ma'am or sir if they don't know. Secondly my food was given to me after three cars that were behind me got their food. Then the car that the fourth car behind me got their food just before I got my food. If I didn't call the girl over I don't think I would've gotten my food. I hope no one spits on my food. Why the delay? I'm used to having to wait for my order there but not when the three cars behind me get their orders first and I get ignored. When I was a cub scout Cod was the best tasting. Perch was second place at fish fries. But Culver's Cod has no taste at all. So I buy Perch from Babu down the Street. Or I drive to LaPorte for Yellow Lake Perch. That's almost 20 miles roundtrip! read more

I have to say, I was shocked to see that this Culver's doesn't have the best reviews. I come here on a pretty consistent basis and it's one of the best fast food options in the town. However, I have only ordered through the drive thru. Never been inside. The service is fast 90% of the time. Sometimes it takes a little longer. I don't usually mind the wait regardless because the food quality is above and beyond the nearby competition. They always make sure sauces are in the bag, they have never messed up my order, and they have good customer service. All of that aside, the burgers are great. The cheese curds with cheese sauce, or even their fries with the cheese sauce, are a must order. The frozen treats are just a plus. I hope this place starts getting better reviews because it really is one of the better options in the area, fast food wise. read more

Placed my order at 5:46pm waited for a simple med custard, had to ask twice as to where it was. I wasn't trying to be a Karen but when I was the only one waiting inside 9 people up front 5 doing ice cream you think I shouldn't have to wait 30 mins. They all looked confused. Only reason I come here is because my children like Culver's. Otherwise this is by far the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to not just Culver's restaurant. It is almost guaranteed every time I come through the drive through my order is wrong despite repeating myself several times. I have got to the point where I have to pull over in the parking lot EVERYTIME to make sure the order is correct. And be fair and honest 8/10 the order is wrong. I was there yesterday and did not receive one my burgers and the other burger had cheese on it when it wasn't supposed to. I never seen an any fast food restaurant make so many incorrect orders in my life. It would be very big mistake to leave this place and driving home without double checking your order. Never seems to get anything right I ordered a large basket combo they don't give me anything large I repeated my order three times and when it shows up it's not large this place is like prying teeth to get a thing right I call in to let them know they charge me for the large then didn't give and they had the audacity when they heard my child cry that it was her fault ..... like are you fucking kidding me ??! First time I went the deluxe burger was dryer than macdonalds. Second time I went I got the sourdough. Burger was thinner than the cheese. The pumpkin spice shake was very good. So far, worst culvers I have been to. read more

i there about once a week. when leaving i buy 4 frozen custard flavors about 2 months ago i go i got turtle custard when i went to eat it found 2 pecans and just vanella custard nothing else so i didnt buy that until today same problem today. so i called manager and told him (rude) ill check into it and hung up no sorry. but i have to say food is great great service love the hambergers i give 5 stars for that. read more

My family and I used to love coming here, until a recent encounter with an employee. We had our usual order (a large order of cheese curds) and everything was fine. That was until I saw our runner eat a cheese curd out of the bag. When she handed me the bag I brought this to her attention and she rolled her eyes and walked away. I had never been to a Culvers as they are not in TX or seems the south in general. My goodness the food was off the hook. It was excellent. dined in, took a guest we both had a wonderful experience from ordering to eating. What an asset to the community. I hope they are very successful, and continue to thrive and grow. Was very hard pressed to find a good restaurant in the Niles Buchanan area in the 5 weeks I spent up here, and ironically this place had a great menu, and great food. This is a brand new Culvers location. I believe they are still experiencing some new growing pains. My dad has not been thrilled with his food, but my mom and I stuck with out trusty kids meal and loved our food. You cannot beat the custard, especially the flavor of the day. I think everyone need to give them a chance to grow and improve. Every time I drive by when I am in town they are swamped. I think Niles was just excited for something new. read more

First time in the new Niles Michigan culvers. Drive thru was very busy but no one ordering at the counter inside. I decided to go inside to possibly get faster service then the drive thru. I went inside and walked up to the counter, guessing what register to go to because there was no way to tell what register was open. After waiting for about 3.5 min. A young girl who appeared to be in charge asked me if she could help me. Three min. Is to long of a time to stand at the counter without even being acknowledged IMO. Places my order for a Sunday and stepped away from the counter to be out of the way. 13 min. later I received my simple Sunday with an apology for the wait. I completely understand slow service when staffing is an issue but there were 10 employees in the counter and drive thru area. I have no tolerance for lack of proper training and grossly inefficient restaurant staff. That being said maybe everyone was new and today was their first day, then they get a complete pass. So here is the kicker, I took note of the cars and their order in line when I placed my order. All in all 6 cars went through the drive thru that arrived after I had ordered. So there is the problem. On the positive side the restaurant was clean and srltaff was very friendly. Kudos for that that is a start now just work on organization and efficiency and you will have a great restaurant. read more

Anticipated the same pleasant dining experience that we have enjoyed at other Culver's locations. Very disappointed. The Walleye was awful and fries were cold. For the $52 that we paid for two meals and shakes we could have gone to a "real" restaurant. Hopefully, the Niles location is not the new norm for Culver's read more
