Waaaaaay to expensive to eat there...it has been...$30+ for a greasy 8pc fish dinner...no thanks...I'm surprised they've not closed down.

This place needs some serious renovations. The place is falling apart and dirty inside and outside. There was trash all over the floor when you first walked in. I took my friend here because he wanted the fried greasy fish. I've had there fish at other locations and it was no where as greasy as this. I will not be back. I ended up getting a side coleslaw and it was so tiny and 3/4 full. I guess they ran out of side dishes. The coleslaw is way overpriced. The only thing that was any good was the unsweetened ice tea. I'm glad they didn't screw that up. The employees need to be careful what they say as everyone can hear all there drama and bad words that they say. There is also to much horsing around especially around the hot boiling grease. My friend said the greasy fried fish tasted ok. For me I didn't eat because it was very greasy and had a very fishy smell. My friends hands where covered in grease. I've had this fish at other location and it was no were near as greasy as this. I guess a big wig came in and asked how our food was. I told him the potion size on the coleslaw was small. It's nice some one asked but to me it's not worth the money. I would of told him more about what I'm putting on my review but he didn't ask. I noticed after he came in that people started to do there work. They started to sweep inside and someone still needs to go outside and clean up. I notice all the horsing around and loud talking stopped as well. read more

Well... to start things off, my son applied for a job here. They messaged him for an interview. We called and goy it set up... the day of the interview they sent out 3 reminders to inform him of his interview... he showed up for his interview and the manager rudely told him, well thats not happening today, you need to call tomorrow. Do inform potential employees of an interview, if you're not gonna uphold your dudiligence to keep it yourself. The store wasnt even busy. There was only 6 cars... i could've handled all 6 of those by myself... so if her reasoning was they were busy... shes gonna need to come up with something better. Then while waiting for my sons "interview" i decided to order something to eat while i waited in the car... i got no little crispy things... honestly... i can say i dont even want my son working here because i already know the manager is rude and she doesnt hold the company up to the standards she is supposed to... do better... i havent ate at long john silvers in years. After today... i will probably never return. read more

Well........ I'm amazed that anyone can give a restaurant a rating when they didn't even try the food. It appears to me that this person was very upset, (you can tell by how her review is written), because she got there probably very close to quitting time, they were all probably trying to get things cleaned up to go home, and they didn't meet the customer at the window the second she pulled up. Now, with a burr under her saddle, she ordered a huge family meal and then began to ask questions at the drive-up. Being caught off-guard, the worker/s hesitated and then the customer just drove off mad. I think that this review is unfair to the establishment, and should be taken down. Now for a real honest review. My wife and I went there on Labor Day at 5:30 PM, and they were quite busy. Still the wait was very minimal and in only a few minutes we had our #10 and a #12 ordered. Within 5 minutes, a very pleasant person brought it over to our table and set it down with a smile. I've eaten at a lot of Long John Silver's, and this dinner was for sure the best of the best. 3-chicken planks that were hot and juicy, 2-fish planks that were the same, 2-little round things-- excellent. The french fries were very tasty, and both of us were stuffed full when we left. By the way, every person that we saw there, hit the bell as they left, and us too. No place is perfect, but I have to say that all the workers were very pleasant, kept their voices low, and seemed to smile a lot. What more can you ask? If you like L.J.S., don't be shy to try this one. This was also one of the cleanest LJS that I've been to. What a nice surprise to have one of these so close to me. I will be back. read more

Terrible service!!! Went their last night around 9:00 to purchase a family meal. The restaurant was empty no one in drive through pulled up to the drive thru window sat there for about 5 minutes before anybody said anything then when I said hello they said will be with me shortly( no one was in the store!)then I proceeeded to order the 16 price family meal that comes with 4 sides I after I ordered the first 2sides I asked what sides do you have no response then I ask again they tell me the sides r in the middle of the board I say I don't see them can u tell me please they said nothing so I drove off! When passing by I see the two employees standing by the drive through behind the counter holding a conversation and one had cell phone in hand! This place is terrible. Waited in drive thur for 15 minutes and get home no shrimp or coleslaw. What,, so i called asked for a manager hear omg before she said hello.ok so i told her the proble 2 fish,chi,shrimp platters no shrimp on them no coleslaw. She said cant find order ok not my problem .she said her staff headset wasnt working properly. I went to the restaurant in niles, Mi. They were not open or prepared to serve. I waited a very long time for my food. My total was $7.52 so I paid cash totaling $20.52. I finally got my food but no change was given. I'm assuming it was done on purpose to benefit the cashier. I went all the home only to realize I was never given change. So I drive back to the restaurant and ask for it. She suggests I'm lying about it and says I'm pretty sure you got your change as she squinted her eyes. The manager doesn't speak with me but instead tells the cashier to make me wait in the parking lot so they can count the drawer. I wait other 15 minutes as my food gets cold. After they figure out I'm not a liar and my change was never given to me I finally recieve my change of $13.00 I enjoy long john silvers but I believe I'm entitled to have this conversation at least brought to the attention of the management that will use corrective action to properly train thier employees. I am not one that complains but this was unacceptable. read more
