We had a larger group, and I definitely recommend making a reservation if you have a group larger than 4. They offer a soup of the day - highly recommend per a regular. It was baked potato soup the day of my visit and I can say, it was really, really good! I ordered a build-your-own burger, which comes with a side of chips. It was good and exactly what I wanted that day. They offer a variety of pies and cakes for dessert, though I did not try any. The overall appeal is the small-town charm and friendly, attentive service. If you are in the area, it is a nice stop and I recommend whatever soup is available :)

There is no fryer so no fries or onion rings but they do offer a bag of classic Lays chips in case you need that salt or crunch. But you need to ask for that even if you say, "the works". Burger was good, it's really inexpensive and fast. I can see why there is a following for this place. Cash or check only.

I went in on a slow Wednesday afternoon and was immediately greeted by Denise, the bar manager. They didn't have my regular choice of fruity beverage so Denise said, "I got ya" and made me a great mixed drink. On her recommendation, I had the grilled cheeseburger (comes on Texas toast) and the fresh-cut french fries. Wow, absolutely fantastic. Exactly the comfort food I needed after a long day of travel. All the patrons who came in were over-the-top friendly and talkative. When leaving, I told Denise I'd be back someday... Turns out, someday was the next night! When I walked in, the joint was more crowded but as soon as I stepped through the door, Denise yelled, "Fruity drink!" and before I sat down, she was already making the same thing! Once again, I relied on her recommendation and went with the house-made pizza. Great choice! I'm a pizza fanatic and this was better than most pizza restaurants I go to. And again, everyone in the place was chatty and friendly. If you're ever in Marinette WI and need a homey, friendly place for a drink and great food, stop into Alibi, you won't regret it. And don't forget to ask for Denise!

The food is ALWAYS amazing and fresh, but the soup and salad bar is one of my favorite things. There's just something about being able to build your own plate and load up on all the good stuff. And the fish? Absolutely delicious! Another reason I love Michael's is the prices. You can get a really good, filling meal without spending a fortune, which is becoming harder and harder to find. The staff is always amazing, friendly, and welcoming, and I love that Michael's has its own quirky personality. The restaurant is full of whimsy and little unexpected touches that make it feel fun and unique instead of like every other restaurant. Good food, affordable prices, great staff, a soup and salad bar, and plenty of quirky charm. Michael's is definitely a Menominee favorite for me, and I'll be back every time I'm in town!

Again the bowls of salad toppings were either old or empty. Soup looked like it was from the lunch which started at 11. Two carafe of ice water where on the table but didn't fill all the glasses and were not refilled during the dinner. Sorry we spent the money and time. The waitress was eating with her hands as she rolled silverware on napkins. Bartender looked at us a few times, ignored us and kept talking to two women in the corner. I was shocked as it was 100% opposite from the great service at the sister restaurant the Alibi. The cook, Matt, at the Alibi suggested the Ogden club. Very disappointing. So much for small town friendliness, that doesn't exist here! Sad cause when we travel is when I leave yelp reviews and often even social media shout outs. I hope you see this and do better.

However, that name is not listed anywhere outside the building, the front doors or on the receipt. It appears be called The Landing. Very confusing. We got there shortly after they opened at 5:15 and got a nice table by the window with bay view. They do not have outdoor seating which we had hoped. Beer selection was lacking in craft beer options and had one IPA on draft (Bell's Two Hearted). The menu has seafood, sushi, steaks and pasta. Based upon recommendation from the waitress and most of the pictures on Yelp, we went with the sushi. It took a very long time to get our order - close to an hour. When I asked why it took so long, she said they only had one sushi chef and they can get backed up. Since we got there 15 mins after they opened, it seemed hard to understand how they could be that backed up already. With that said, my bride ordered the Twin Tuna Delight ($18) and I ordered the Tuna Lover ($18) and Tuna Nigiri ($10). We were both pleased with our selections. The place seemed to fill up, so it appears to be a popular place to dine in town.
