This has been the best option for this location. It was hat head forever, then some awful taco place.. Hill Street is an awesome local gem that is open later than anywhere I know of in DoorCo. The food is what I'd consider comfort fusion.. they have hangover noodles and fluffernutters on the menu lol. It's very different but everything I've had so far from there has been good, bar snacks, drinks, meals. The weird thing here is the service.. nobody was ever super keen to help or pour a drink. They seem grumpy or unhappy maybe? Not sure, but nobody really makes you feel super welcome if you know what I mean. No servers, it's a sort of self serve place from our experience. The first time we came in when they first opened, the owners were nice and we liked that they were locals.

Stopped in here between events and were lucky enough to get seats at a table on the shady side. All the food was wonderful. I was worried about the sauce they offer with their corn dogs, but it was unexpectedly GOOD. The food came out pretty quick. It was a little difficult to get a bartender's eye, so we could order, but it did eventually happen. Glad we stopped here.

the fries here. Unreal. Everyone walking by came in after seeing them on our table. So so delicious, served quickly, friendly people. Overall such a good vibe and fun/summery atmosphere.

Fun atmosphere and really solid food. Looking forward to my next visit. First time I am finished a burger in a long time.

Hill Street is my and my husbands favorite spot in all of Door County! We absolutely love the atmosphere of the outdoor bar and patio. The first time we visited it was early October, slightly too chilly to spend as much time as we wanted so we returned the following summer and it was even better. The bar tenders are great, down to earth and gave great recommendations. Their food is great; fries, noodles, grilled cheese and fluffernutter sandwich all fabulous. We'll be back!

I don't understand why there are so many complaints about the "no modifications" rule. It's clearly listed on their menu and on their website. Personally, I wouldn't want to make any modifications as the food was fantastic the way it was intended to be prepared! We ordered the Old Man and the burger special - California King Burger with French fries. My fiancé still raves about this burger and says it's one of the best he's ever had. We loved that they are dog friendly and have casual, relaxing patio right in the heart of Fish Creek. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Door County. The only feedback I'd suggest is having ketchup. For a restaurant specializing in sandwiches and fries, you think ketchup and mustard would be a given! Or, at least offer extra complimentary sauces from their homemade selections.

Wow the drinks and service were great!!! We were able to sit with our bulldog and take in the scenery! Try the ELDERFLOWER SPRITZ!!! Amazing!!!!

Fun! Lovely spot in fish creek with great outdoor vibe. Delicious drinks and food and GREAT service. The outdoor vibe is nice- has both sunny and shady spots- tables on the patio and seats all around the bar. Our bartender and Scotty were wonderful, attentive and nice. Ordered the Elderflower Spritz (which was expensive for $16- but they do let you keep the rest of the canned bubbly) and a beer- they had Mango Cart on Draft . We ordered dinner: deconstructed nachos (the queso and beans are vegetarian - a huge plus!) which had a nice hot spice to them ). Asked our bartender for dinner rec for me (vegetarian) and she suggested the Charlie Brown. Glad I ordered- never had anything like it- what a fun combo of flavors with the peanuts and charred broccoli.

We loved Hill Street. We were walking around town and thought the patio looked nice so decided to give it a whirl. We parked along side on the street. The bar had a few seats open so that's where we sat, but there were some tables open with nice umbrellas. You have to order at the bar, they don't have table service! We ordered drinks- I had the Paloma and my husband had a pale ale beer. The Paloma was great! I ordered the Old Man, which is a fun BBQ fish sandwich and man it was JUST what I needed. So good, light, full of flavor. My mouth is watering again just thinking about it. Other orders in my group were the hot chicken sandwich and the burger of the day (not sure if that is on the rotation). Both of those had good reviews, and the burger was especially a hit with everyone who had it! It was a bit sloppy but so delicious. Service was fast and great- the bartender Logan gave us some awesome recommendations around town. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you want a nice, chill spot to hang out for a bit. They have a small menu full of variety. They don't make any special requests or changes to the menu items because of how small the kitchen is, just be aware of that! That was fine with us because everything sounded so amazing. They also don't have ketchup or mustard and make their own sauces in house- another huge plus for us and we had no problem with this. They have fun cocktails and a good handful of beers to choose from. Would recommend!

Their no substitution no modification rule is weird. They wouldn't even hold the mayo on my wife's fish sandwich.

This is the worst restaurant i've ever been to. The service was horrible. 0/10 do not recommend.

A fantastic experience! My husband and I had a wonderful time going to Pelletier's fish boil!…read moreGetting to see the process of the potatoes, onion, corn and Lake Michigan native fish go into the pot with a fun history was a unique and fun experience. Everyone enjoyed their time on the patio seeing the boil itself before going in to enjoy the outcome. My husband immediately said that it was the best fish he'd ever had, and was shocked that it needed no extra seasonings or sauces. The salt that was used and the cooking process itself brought out incredible flavors in the fish and sides. The owner takes so much pride in his work and is excellent interacting with his guests! There is a lot of indoor/outdoor seating but you should call to make a reservation and get your name on the list! You have to get there about 45 minutes early before "the show" to get your ticket, which is no issue. There is also an option to choose from over a dozen other entrees if you're not interested in seafood (I saw a vegetarian option too), as well as a kids menu. The non-alcoholic beverages are included in the ticket but there is an option to purchase local and big name beers as well. The cherry pie at the end is the chef's kiss! It was such a perfect addition to our trip, even people who brought toddlers had a fun time with their kids. We'll come back to this fish boil every time we visit Door County!

I've been waiting years to finally get a reservation for the fish boil here and it finally…read morehappened! I should have opted for the smaller portion because the regular portion was more than I could consume! It was over a pound of fish! The master boiler has been doing this for over 40 years so it must be a great place to work! That says a lot for a business these days. Dining options are indoors or outdoors, and we opted for outdoors the bread was a little disappointing as it was just sliced bread and not rolls. It includes a soft drink, which is a nice touch and of course, the cherry pie. It would be nice if there was seasoning on the table is a little bland.
