Apparently I already reviewed this store, but I wrote the review so I'm doing it again!! Also, why do I keep going back? Glutton for punishment? Who knows? Maybe I can work that out with my therapist. Me: "Doctor, the people at Culver's just don't seem to care about me very much." Therapist: "It's not just the people at Culver's..." So, I placed an online order for curbside pickup: two double ButterBurger meals and two custards. I pulled into the curbside area, checked in, and waited. To the store's credit, my order came out quickly! Well...it came out of the door quickly. Actually getting it from the door to my car turned out to be a considerably more ambitious undertaking. The team member entrusted with this perilous journey emerged from the restaurant carrying my food and began making his way toward me with all the enthusiasm of a 40-year-old man heading to that doctor's appointment. Guys over 40 know the one. I watched as he approached, slow shuffling step after slow shuffling step, each one bringing him incrementally closer to his destination. Minutes seemed to pass. Seasons may have changed. Civilizations rose and fell. Still, he pressed onward. When he finally drew within about 10 feet of my car, I greeted him with an enthusiastic, "Hey, how are you?" Nothing. Apparently, the journey had already taken a terrible toll on his constitution, leaving him without sufficient reserves for conversation. But he would not be deterred. He soldiered bravely onward, closing those final few feet until, at last, he reached my window. Pheidippides ran from Marathon to Athens to announce the Greek victory and promptly died from the effort. Watching this young man cross the Culver's parking lot, I began to understand how that could happen. At last, our hero extended a bag containing my burgers and now-cold fries, along with a drink carrier containing two custards, a lemonade, and approximately 3/4 of a Diet Root Beer. This raises a separate question: Culver's, why is your root beer so incredibly foamy? More importantly, since I assume this phenomenon has been observed before, why not wait five seconds for the foam to settle and then fill the cup the rest of the way? I ordered a medium Diet Root Beer, not a small Diet Root Beer with a decorative foam hat. But I digress. His mission complete, our weary traveler bade me farewell with a mumbled, "Here you go." And then he turned. Before him stretched the vast expanse of asphalt he had only moments earlier conquered. Somewhere beyond the horizon stood Culver's. Home. Safety. Maybe a chair. And so his return trek began. A modern-day Odysseus, condemned to wander the parking lot in search of Ithaca. I can only assume that somewhere between my car and the front door he encountered a Cyclops, resisted the Sirens, and angered Poseidon, because I didn't have another 20 minutes to stick around and see whether he made it. Maybe Christopher Nolan will make a movie about it. In all seriousness, the food itself was fine except for the fries being cold, and the order was prepared quickly. The problem was the service. The employee who brought it out was extraordinarily slow, completely disengaged, ignored a friendly greeting, and acted as though delivering my order was an almost unbearable imposition. I'm not expecting someone to sprint across the parking lot, sing the Culver's fight song, or greet me with the enthusiasm of a cruise director. But a normal walking pace, a "hello," and the faintest indication that you don't actively resent both your job and the person whose food you're delivering seems like a reasonable baseline for customer service. TL;DR: The kitchen did its job. The curbside employee appeared to have a serious case of the Mondays. I believe you'd get your [synonym for donkey] kicked for saying something like that. The fries were cold, the root beer was 25% atmosphere, and I witnessed a journey worthy of Homer. Two stars for the experience. Five stars for the epic. Yes, I Googled the spelling of Pheidippides! I use to love Culver's so much especially for the chicken had such a good flavor and crunchy plus the kids meals come with an ice cream that's is so yummy.. I went today and got my kids the chicken tender meal... and they have CHANGED the quality and it horrible what use to stand out from all these fast food chains has joined them. The chicken tenders had no crunch flat and flimsy. No where close to the same flavor. The fries I don't know if they changed as well but no crunch and had a weird taste to them. My first time at a Culver's - my friend wanted a butter burger so I Googled and found this location about a mile from where we were. Walked in and approached a young woman at the counter who never looked me in the eye; I repeated "no cheese" yet our sandwiches, for which we waited a long time, had cheese and we had to wait what seemed like another long time for new sandwiches. My friend was pleased with hers; I thought mine was rather salty and I was not impressed with either the service or the flavor of the butter burger. As I'm allergic to dairy, I won't be back to try the dessert. All in all a disappointing experience. read more

I usually come to Culver's for the custard, which is consistently good. Today, I decided to try something different and ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown--the chicken was dry, tough, and honestly had the texture of cardboard. Not sure what possessed me to stray from the usual, but lesson learned. I won't be making that mistake again. The ice cream is still decent, and I'll stick to that in the future. As for the service and cleanliness, no complaints there--it's always been pretty solid. Summer time calls for burgers, fries, and sundaes. There were 2 moms and 5 kids that were hungry for lunch and we landed up here to get our afternoon meal fix. It wasn't really busy there on a Monday afternoon, so it was nice we didn't have to wait long for our food at all. The deluxe burger with fries and a fountain drink were good. Everything was in a good size portion and made fresh to order. It was concluded off with a caramel cashew custard. All the food was good and was ready for a nap after...lol. The staff behind the order was very patient with the kids placing their orders and it was brought out to us once it was ready. I'm visiting the area from Kentucky and was pleasantly surprised to find that this Culver's has a veggie burger on the menu. My local Culver's in KY does not have a veggie burger on the menu as far as I know. The veggie burger and French fries were hot, fresh and tasted delicious. I would definitely order this again. The staff who helped us at the register, and the staff who brought the food to our table, were professional and courteous. read more

I've driven past this place since its grand opening but never gave it a try until this past weekend. After taking my son to Lion Country Safari, I decided to stop here for a quick bite so we could keep exploring without him asking for snacks too soon (lol). I ordered him a two-piece chicken tender kids' meal, which came with fries, a small lemonade, and an ice cream cup. I loved that they gave us the option to enjoy the ice cream now or save it for another visit. This time, we decided to indulge. The tenders were amazing--probably the best fast-food tenders I've had in a long time. They were lightly breaded, and the chicken tasted real. That's the best way I can describe it! The crinkle-cut fries were hot, fresh, and perfectly salted. The portion size for a kids' meal was generous, and they didn't skimp on the sauces either. I'm a Culver's fan. We frequent one of the locations in Coconut Creek. We were excited to learn they'd opened a new spot in west Palm Beach County, albeit in Loxahatchee. As we were shopping on 441, we weren't too far away, so we decided to stop by for dessert. First off, the pin had been dropped in the wrong location. Whoever had been here before was telling us to make a U-turn when we didn't need to. Luckily, we saw the building and were able to cut across the three lanes to the north side of the road. I've since corrected the location of the pin drop and forwarded this to Yelp. They had a long line for the drive through, but inside was not too busy. I saw they still had the "flavor of the day" from the day prior as a concrete so asked if they could make this for us as a regular special. They were nice enough to accommodate us with something not on their menu! Wow! We both got a dish of their vanilla custard ice cream which they topped with their salted caramel pumpkin. It was very pumpkiny (is that a word?) -- definitely a bit of fall spice -- and paired with the buttery nutty taste of the caramel sauce -- made for a decadent treat. The staff was very friendly. Not just the people behind the counter. Even the ones who were cleaning tables engaged in conversations and were helpful -- as needed. Now we know where they are located, I'm sure we will be back when in the area. Not just for dessert (my husband's favorite) but also for their Swiss mushroom butter burgers (my favorite). read more

Came here for a quick meal tonight. Tiniest piece of fish for 14.99 in a combo meal. It was the same exact size as what you would get in Gorton's beer battered frozen fish box. Super small!!!! No tartar sauce on the sandwich, just a ton of thick mayo. Fish wasn't even good. Our butter burgers were not even warm and the cheese was still cold, one large piece of undercooked bacon on one of them as well. My husband and I stopped in for lunch after a doctor's appointment. The place is nice and clean, and the staff was very attentive and patient. It was my very first time visiting and I had questions about their menu and was a bit confused when it came to ordering a concrete mixer a.k.a. ice cream. I had the crispy chicken sandwich meal and a cookie dough and caramel concrete mixer. We decided to eat in to enjoy our food and dessert. I must start out by saying they serve hot food. Shakes are always a treat We have visited Culver's 3x's at two different locations Lake Park 1x. The staff is friendly & helpful in both locations. We waited about 12 mins for the order to come out. I don't mind waiting as long as the entire order is hot. Other two visits were in the Loxahatchee location. It's great to see more restaurants, fast food, Tractor Store & Aldi's etc coming to the Loxahatchee area. A Trader Joe's next would be perfect. Both locations are relatively new so the inside is up to date & clean. They have a decent amount of indoor seating & the drive through has pretty quick service. read more

This place is pretty consistent with quality and if you are wanting fast food this feels way less gross than other options. The person at the drive through did seem rather disinterested and the burgers did come out wrong (we received and were charged for doubles when we wanted singles - they were still delicious so we weren't mad). I had onion rings and they were way better than a fast food level of side item. Flavor of the day custard was peach crumble - this was not good. Everything is pretty mid and its $15 for combo meals, I don't think we will be a regular here anytime soon. Let me just start off by saying the young people that work at this Culver's are so friendly and polite. It must be a nice place to work because I didn't see any disgruntled employees. They are helpful and go out of their way to make sure you're happy that being said this is a dangerous place to take my husband. Any place that has a thing called concrete mixers where they put cold custard and mix it up with candy spells disaster. My husband had a root beer float with his mushroom Swiss burger followed by a pumpkin pecan concrete mixer. Oh yes, and some onion rings. He said it was absolutely delicious, better than his favorite place habit burger. I had spicy chicken tenders. We were very happy to learn this new spot is open for business. (Waited a week to try to avoid the crowds) When we pulled up we were lucky to find a parking spot. Once we walked in though the lines were very manageable and moved fast. After we ordered we got our drinks, sat down and the food came right out. I had the double butter burger basket with cheese curds and my husband had the basket as well but with fries. (I had to take half of my food home because of the generous serving size) The staff continuously circled around maintaining the dining room cleanliness, checking on the guests and even offered to assist with throwing away our trash while we shared our concrete mixer dessert. This Culver's location is the best I have ever been to!!! And I've been to many since traveling for soccer with my kids. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave everyone is so kind and helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting YETTA an employee there whom I thought was the manager how she was greeting everyone at the tables and asking if anyone needed anything. Such a super sweet lady.
