Talk about inconsistency... I have done this two weeks in a row First Sunday: Ordered small mango smoothie, got it perfectly done First Monday: Ordered Medium Mango Smoothie, too sour and looked nothing like what I got on Sunday Second Sunday: Ordered small mango Smoothie, made just as the first Sunday Second Monday: Ordered Medium Mango Smoothie, too sour and looked nothing like what I got on Sunday So people differed on Sundays when I ordered my smoothie, but the guy on Mondays had been same... I am not asking Culvers to give me free drink, but when I pay for my smoothie I expect it to be same every single time... Consistency is one of the points in bringing back what customers... Perhaps I should only get it on Sunday, has anybody else seen inconsistencies at this location? read more

Stick with the Burger and Shakes- they are the best in town for sure. Stay away from the Fish. Their commercials make the fish look tasty with the light batter so you can taste the goodness of the Cod. All I tasted was a thick greasy batter. It was very disappointing. After I peeled it off I did taste Cod. read more

This location has always been pretty good with their service, atmosphere and food quality. I've been to many other locations and this one remains consistent while others can be hit or miss. After watching a late evening basketball game in southeast KC (of course during the dinner hour) we were all starving and headed north for a Culver's stop on the way back home. It's Friday so we were looking for a place with some decent seafood or fish sandwiches. Culver's serves a pretty tasty cod sandwich! I went to this location to get something very simple - and something I've ordered at countless other Culver's - a Butter Pecan Sundae. It's literally one of the most well-known ice cream dishes and has been around forever. The girl at the drive through acted very confused and said they couldn't do that as a sundae, it would have to be as a concrete since it wasn't the "flavor of the day." We asked multiple times if they simply had butterscotch topping (which the menu said they did) and pecans and she kept saying it would have to be blended bc it was a flavor they added to their blender - and just kept repeating herself and not trying to hear us. Needless to say I won't be coming back to face this kind of incompetence. read more

The food was good. No problems with the food quality or quantity. We don't normally eat here but when we do we drive into Liberty as this is the closest Culver's. On this night (9/24/2020) we came inside and it wasn't busy inside but we started our order and we were treated VERY rudely by the gal behind the counter. Amnethyst was her name. The menu is confusing and we were trying to decide what we wanted. We took an extra minute or two trying to navigate the confusing menu and she completely lost any patience with us. She snapped at my wife and snapped at my son. Maybe she needs a nap...? We won't be coming back anytime soon! read more

I love seeing everybody in Culver's wearing a mask properly and taking sanitization seriously. The food is always fresh and delicious and the worst thing that has ever happened to me is one time they forgot the ranch for my cheese curds - an honest mistake that's very forgivable. Sunday, May26. 1:15 pm. Food was good but the young lady working the drive through communication had a serious attitude problem. Very clear she did not want to be there today. Snapped at us, wasn't articulate and gave us a dirty look at the window and we didn't even hassle her. Management should move her out of there. I have been successfully eating a much healthier diet for the last month. I blew it today at Culver's. I got a single with cheese and the works, onion rings, and a regular soda. I did feel slightly sick afterward, but it was worth it! I love a thin beef patty with crispy edges, all the veggies, and mayo. I mean if you're gonna do it, do it right. I like a more crusty onion ring (theirs are smooth battered) but they were tasty. "Tasty" not only means yummy, but that I "tasted" them for hours until I could get home and brush my teeth. Fortunately, my hubby ate some too so I didn't kill him with onion-y dragon breath. Consider yourself fairly warned. My only other comment is that when pulling back out onto Kansas, Five Guys glared at me accusingly. I actually felt guilty for "cheating" on my go-to, decadent burger joint. I'm sorry Five Guys! The place is clean and the service is friendly. It is more fast food oriented and set up very similar to a McDs. The food was all good and it made for a quick stop on a road trip. read more

Ordered the 8 piece fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Only had 7 pieces of chicken but we're charged for 8 pieces or we could have paid $3 more if paying by the piece. Chicken was over cooked. Dry. Warm like it has been sitting out a long time. This is second visit. Last time was fishy fish. Goodbye! read more

I take the kids here often, they enjoy the food and the ice cream. This time they only brought out 1 of the kids meals, so we had to wait. I ordered the prime rib sandwich, the flavor was really good but it was small and did not have a lot of meat, disappointing. read more

The chili, tenders, butterlburger , corn dogs, & basically everything else is very very good i've had just about everything at least once! and still we love it so much we keep coming back! and we really love The delicious custard at the end of the meal!! Fast, accurate service. I ordered the fish sandwich. Jill asked me if lettuce, cheese and tartar sauce were ok, and I said no cheese. It came out just right--hot, crispy, no cheese, and just enough tartar sauce. The crinkle fries are hot and crispy as well. The Deluxe burger and the fried shrimp are also very good. The ordering setup is just like a McDonald's, but they bring the order to your table like at a Whataburger. They are playing some pop musician quietly in the background. There are TVs playing CNN and the Rio Olympics with the sound off. The seating is comfortably spaced. It's not too hot or cold in the restaurant. Overall an excellent experience. read more

Culvers is always a wonderful place to stop on the road. Always a great meal but these people were even more personable. Manager, Nathan Hammer, was very helpful and insisted on being sure we were happy with the service. Always interested in "seeing behind the curtain" showed a Culvers I was very pleased to be a customer of. Even restrooms were presentable. Thanks, Culvers for having this site in your "family". Just to reiterate what another reviewer said, the Butter Burger, which derives its name from the buttered bun not the meat, is a thin, crispy patty much like the Winstead's patties are or used to be. These patties are the furthest thing from McDonald's and all the other steamed meat-like fast food dredge. I've been to Culver's in Texas and Michigan and the service is always top notch. I'm not sure how they avoid hiring the usual despondent, bitter fast food employee, but they do. Sure, everything else is good, especially the frozen custard, but I go for the burger. read more

I love Culvers! The food is great and the service is amazing. I love their fries and their ice cream is all ways a treat on a hot day.

I am always looking for a good fried fish dinner in Liberty. So far this seems to be a good choice. The fried cod was really well cooked, thick and juicy. The onion rings were not so good. The batter is doughy and not crisp. The coleslaw was creamy and tasty. Service was great, but the wait was long. I went inside to order a to-go meal which is usually quicker than the long drive thru lines. Not so this time. read more

I know this is a chain, but it's a great location. They do a great job of keeping the place clean, and the service is almost as fast as other "fast food" places. The quality of the food is high, and the desserts are, of course, excellent. I especially like how the kids get dessert with the kids meal. Great stuff! read more

we love culver's of liberty!! i always order the fish or chicken with wonderful green beans and mashed potatoes. my husband loves the pot roast and mashed potatoes with a roll.... then we share a custard!!! we try to visit once a week if not more! the staff is wonderful and very friendly... very kind folks!! we love everything about the people and restaurant!!! read more
