This particular location is sub par. The employees are hit n miss on service. More than often the food order will be wrong or below standard. Customizing your order sometimes helps but is not a guarantee. The dining room is also hit or miss on cleanliness. We have never really seen it sparkling clean. Now we have more options and have been visiting the others when craving fast food because they are better in all areas (food, service and cleanliness). This location needs to step it up now that competition is around!

Management yelling at customers while I'm just trying to eat my dinner in my corner over here…read more This place needs to get a grip on their employees, especially Miss Nicole, the manager on closing shift. Customer couldn't figure out a coupon, employee comes over and pushes it through for him, then afterwards the manager runs out from the back and up to their table while yelling across the store for him to come back with the coupon. The free fries are not worth losing your job, Nicole -- let the man and his family eat instead of causing a store-wide scene over a $3 fry. Thanks for the dinner and the show, but seriously get it under control Steak 'n Shake. That was an awfully embarrassing scene to watch unfold tonight.

I've not had any issues with them in all of my orders over the years, whether carry-out or delivery. I prefer to place my order most nights at the counter because I live close by and can sit and play games or read a book while I'm waiting. (While I haven't tried this during a big pizza ordering period like during the NBA finals or on Superbowl Sunday, I'd be worth the wait for me. ) They have a clean customer restroom (I've checked several times), a standup table (more for waiting not eating, I think), and a bench for two or three to wait inside. They're pretty darn quick at moving folks through so don't expect to have to sit. They're a great bunch here so make sure to tip them.
