Right away, the service stands out. We were greeted and immediately offered a sample of brisket, which set the tone. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the ordering process has a really smooth, well thought out flow that keeps things moving without feeling rushed. We sat on the covered patio, which was clean, comfortable, and a great place to enjoy a meal. Now, the food. This is where it really shines. I'm a bit of a BBQ aficionado, so I'll be a little nitpicky, but none of this takes away from how great it was overall. The brisket was phenomenal. We tried both lean and fatty--both were excellent. If I had to critique anything, it leaned slightly salty, but the bark, smoke, and overall flavor were outstanding. The pulled pork was just as impressive. Tener, moist, and packed with flavor, with no wasted bits. The Texas sausage was incredibly flavorful, though slightly on the mealy side texturally. That said, the green chile cheddar sausage was an absolute standout. Loaded with flavor, chiles, and cheese. A must-order. The sides were the only area that didn't quite keep pace with the meats. The beans were a bit undercooked and lacking depth of flavor. The slaw was fresh and well-balanced, but not particularly memorable. The corn pudding was solid, but again, nothing that stood out. The sauces also deserve some recognition. All four were fantastic, each with its own unique profile. Honestly, I could've just sat there sampling them on their own. They paired perfectly with different meats and added another layer to the experience. Overall, this is an incredible BBQ spot. While it may not quite reach the level of some top tier Texas joints, it absolutely rivals them and stands out as one of the best you'll find outside of Texas.

When I came in, there was no line which was amazing! They let you sample the meats before you get it. You gotta get the brisket! Literally the best brisket I've ever had. I sampled a burnt end piece and fell in love lol The brisket was so juicy, tender and well seasoned. It had a nice crispy crust and just melts in your mouth. The pork ribs were also very good! The crust was so good. The meat didn't quite fall off the bone but was still delicious! The fries were also perfectly crispy, hot, and balanced out the bbq well. They have plenty of seating bunch of picnic tables outside and quite a few tables inside. They also have a bar inside. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more lol I'll definitely have to shop by again next time I'm in the area.

I even ordered a small thing of macaroni and cheese just to see what that was like. The fries were ok. They are your standard chicken-place fries with some seasoning on it, arguably the best part of the meal. The Mac n Cheese was the worst mac n cheese I had ever tasted. I don't know how you could botch something like that, but it just tasted bland. No flavor whatsoever. The pickles on the side are...pickles. Neat addition, I guess. And now the sliders. The bun, sauce, and kale slaw were good additions to what I can only describe as: "a cayenne pepper-battered slab of dry meat." It was all spice, with little flavor or substance. The only flavor present was in the lightly drizzled sauce on it that got easily overshadowed by the pungent capsaicin that does nothing but settle into your mouth for the next 10 minutes and override any sense of taste and smell And the worst part of all of this? This review would at least be a 2-3 star if it weren't for the price tag on it. It's just not worth it. I'm not even gonna bother to try anything else from here

The person on the other end inquired about if there was any brisket left, and when she put the guy on hold to find out, we learned there was one platter left. We let her know that we were also there for brisket, to which she responded that the guy on the phone asked first. Customer service 101- you help the customer in front of you first- always. Restaurant service 101- you help the customer in front of you first- always. I grew up in the restaurant biz from the time I could walk. This is basic stuff. We aren't the type to complain to a manager, but we are the type to vote with our feet. We turned around and walked out and went to another restaurant. We will not return.

Might have well been a kid's meal. The mahi sandwich was the only redeemable part of the meal, the mac & cheese was lukewarm and I could never justify this plate of food for the price. On top of that, they're one of those places that asks for a tip when it's just fast food style "order your food yourself at the counter". If you tipped you'd be paying almost $20. The place was empty at noon on a Saturday, I can see why. Stop cutting corners, you aren't fooling anyone.
