Welcome to delicious. I eat here too frequently. Culver's is the best chain burger restaurant. Period. I used to kid myself with thinking In-N-Out could compete. They are good, but the double butterburger cheese takes the crown. I've experimented with what are the best toppings to get on it, and have landed on Mayo, ketchup, and grilled onions. The buns are toasted and soft, cheese perfectly melty. Juicy, nice crisp and fantastic flavor. Their fries are pretty good, though I have had better. Perhaps this is where In-N-Out gets some of their street cred. The drive thru here is usually busy, but they get you through pretty quickly and I feel they are quite efficient. Vanilla custard is what dreams are made of. I can't come here and not get a scoop. Their other flavors are a trap. Vanilla is the only way to go. read more

I feel the Mary Soik and the owners at this location should treat their staff better and the employees seem to be spoken to very unkindly from what I have observed. Service takes longer and they now charge for extra sauces. The location always seems to be hiring which to me suggests that the people who run this restaurant must be hard to work for or they are very displeased. I ordered (and paid for) onion rings but did not get. Then, they screw up on the drinks ... order large diet but get regular instead, and then they forget a second large drink altogether. Then open the lid to find there is no ice and it is only half filled. Details of our order were all on the receipt so how do they screw up so badly???? I have been to many Culver's as we travel often and this one by far was the worst! The drink cups also needed to be wrapped in napkins because the outside was drenched in soda. After having to correct our order unsuccessfully at the window three times, we decided better to go inside the restaurant and fill the drinks properly ourselves instead of holding up the drive-thru line any longer as it was backing up. Oh Culver's, your food is pretty good but your service is not. This is a place I frequented when I lived here, and still visit when I'm back. The food is decent, probably a step up from McDonald's. Their butterburgers are pretty good (though they aren't Krolls!), and the fries and cheese curds are pretty good. Their frozen custard (not ice cream!) is the focal point, though. They have a flavor of the day, and they also sell by the pint (including previous flavors of the day, so if you miss your favorite you can go back and get it as a pint). It's mostly staffed by high school workers, which is what you'd expect for a place like this, but in general the employees are the most unmotivated bunch I've ever seen. Every time we order there we have to wait for someone to take our order, then wait a long time to get our food (I get that it takes time to make it, but more than once we've seen our completed food order just sitting on the counter, getting cold, waiting for someone to get it to us). And their concrete mixers (akin to a Dairy Queen Blizzard) are good too, and they have a good amount of mix-in options, but they're never mixed well. I get all the mix-ins at the top, then by the time I get to the bottom it's just frozen custard (and it's not easy to stir it all together when you first get it). I love culvers and have always enjoyed their burgers, sides and of course the frozen custard. Due to health issues I have recently had to go gluten-free in my diet. I was excited to know that culvers had gluten-free buns available for their hamburgers. However, after trying these gluten-free buns twice, I have decided I will never get them again the first time that I got the bun, I thought maybe it was just the off chance that the bun was extremely stale, dry and crumbled, completely in my hands, while attempting to eat the burger. But I was willing to give it a second try. My second experience with the gluten-free bun is the same dry, stale and crumbly. However, this time on top of all of that it was given to me in a plastic bag and my hamburger patties and toppings were placed in a cardboard box. I was expected to assemble my own sandwich. I was not informed of this, and this came as a surprise in a shock as I was paying full price and expected full service. The other disappointment is I specifically asked for a certain toppings to be put on my hamburger, and it came without any condiments. How very disappointing that a company that has such high standards for their burgers, sides and custard would choose to use such an inferior gluten-free bun. Culver's has the midwestern aesthetic cooked into its food. They make the best butter burgers, the fries are always perfect. The beef has a crispier edge than other butter burgers around Green Bay. Sometimes errors occur with the delivery timing and more rarely with order accuracy. The manager on duty will solve the problem quickly and possibly send you home with a free pint of custard for your troubles. The custard is a good reason alone to visit. I don't know any children that disapprove of going to Culver's. The prices are good, when you look at your choices you realize the planning at Culver's is excellent. I believe they are well managed and operated. I always enjoy seeing the hardworking staff, many hired with special needs. They work hard and are very polite and super friendly. This Midwest fast food chain is full of character. Lots of whites and blues in the joint and lots of seating. The staff was super nice and super accommodating. They kept checking up on us as we ate. I loved it. So unlike a fast food joint. For lunch, I got the double patty Culver's Deluxe meal for around $8. Midwest-raised beef with real Wisconsin cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, their signature mayo. The fries were thick cut wavy fries and sooo good! I loved the burgers. Juicy and such a big burger. Lots of flavors and fresh textures made for a really good meal! Loved it. If you're ever near a Culver's you've gotta try their burgers! I honestly love culvers, from the chicken sandwiches to the salads to the soups. But because of my autoimmune disease I can't eat beef so I decided to try the veggie burger. Honestly I am so underwhelmed it's pretty sad. You can get a better meatless option at a grocery store or go to Burger King and get their impossible burger. My biggest issue aside from the taste(which was kind of all over the place) was that the texture was kind of like mush when I chewed it. You had the amazing crisp of the onions, the juiciness of the tomato, that fresh lettuce taste, then finally mush from the patty. The only way the burger could possibly be saved with out changes to the patty would be increased cook time. Give both sides a real crisp that's noticeable when you take a bite into it. Still, that mushy texture would still be inside but it would be a remarkable improvement. I ordered a Double Cheddar Burger w/ Bacon basket with the works. Fries were hot and delicious. The burger on the other hand was a sloppy mess. One patty was half size, cheese slices were sliding off the sides, and I did not get the 'works'. I got two miniscule onion sliced and pickles. A blob of ketchup and mustard on the bottom. I did not have time to complain or request another so I just ate it. And it was tasty, the meat was good and the cheddar is locally made. Had the butter burger with bacon and cheese curds. The burger was awesome. I always forget they put mayo and no ketchup on their sandwiches so I always have to add it. They also give you way too many cheese curds which is a great issue to have. This time the curds were a little overcooked causing them to be just a tad on the dry side. Overall I love going here not only for the ice cream options they have but their food is good as well. The menu has a ton of options for picky eaters. I will be back for sure. read more
