Culver's - Fast Food Near Me - Forest Lake, Minnesota

Excellent service, especially by Conner who brought our food out to the car. He was very helpful and delightful.

This was my first time inside of a Culver. For some reason, I thought they only sold chicken and the only meat I eat is fish. I was totally blown away, from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by several employees. I immediately noticed how clean it was, well lit, and the menu was organized and easy to read. They had cod and walleye on the menu, I went with the cod sandwich with fries and a drink, it was $11 and some change. I received a cup for my drink and a number. Vanessa provided excellent service, she answered my questions, was pleasant, and shared a cool tip about consignment stores. My food was brought to the table and the server asked if I needed anything else. The booth was very comfortable and again, everything was very clean. I couldn't believe I was in a fast food establishment. My coworker said the service and food is consistent. My meal was 10/10. Cod was flaky and perfectly breaded with the perfect serving of tartar sauce. The crinkle fries were yummy! It was up there with fish houses, and very affordable. Thank you for a wonderful meal. read more

One of the best fast-food restaurants in Forest Lake! Over the top customer service and professionalism every time. A couple of days ago a young man named Collin waited on us, this guy is remarkable. He takes his job very serious; he was kind, fun, engaging and make us feel we were important customers (all in a 5-minute transaction), Collin is going to be successful in whatever he decided to do in his career. Great food as usual. Yes, it takes a few minutes, but like the commercials and company tells us, it's made fresh when you place your order. The food is not sitting under heat lamps. Great experience. The world needs more Collins! read more

I swear to God every time you go here that either get the order wrong or the food wrong in the bag I don't know what the hell their problem is you cannot multitask when you're working the drive-through none of you can. You don't have enough intelligence to do multitasking you have to stay focused on one thing and then move onto the next because you can't it's pathetic you're pathetic. read more

The service was extremely slow. Ordering took 10 minutes in the restaurant with only one cashier. Food took over 20 minutes to deliver once ordered. This is not fast food. I hope they can get additional staff on soon. The food was usual Culver's Food. Be prepared for not a quick meal, which is the whole point of going there. read more

Amazing, love the food, the people are super nice, always clean, eat here all the time

It was an amazing experience, the workers were great and the food was even better, and ice cream

Greasy cod dinner with very tiny cod portions compared to previous years. Slow service and unhappy workers. Kitchen staff did not fill order as requested. Mishandling of food from to go container into small french fry bag. Cold fries even after ordering them HOT. Dinner roll could be used as a hockey puck. Much higher prices and very much smaller portions. Understandable to a point with the economy but this was over the top horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

food was amazing! it's always super fresh! the service was amazing as well. they were super nice.

just stopped by to get some french fries. When I ate the first couple french fries I could tell that they were tasting a little weird. I then realized that they tasted like shrimp, which I am allergic to. Luckily, I caught myself before eating anymore. Not sure if the cooks aren't changing their gloves frequently enough or what but you should get this fixed because it could've costed me a lot more and I bet other people have had similar encounters. If you work in food service, you should be regularly changing your gloves and washing your hands. If somebody can taste another food on their french fries that's disgusting. I wish I could get my money back. read more

Do not eat at this Culver's. We waited 45 minutes last night for our food and when we finally got it, it was stone cold and inedible. When I asked to talk to a manager, a young man responded that he was the manager and would check it out. He promptly disappeared and was never seen again. Another young man, Dillon did take responsibility and found out cold food for us which we promptly returned. One hour of my life and $14 I will never get back. Other customers were voicing similar complaints, they are totally disorganized and inept at what they do. read more

In parts of the Midwest, a thicker version of ice cream is called frozen custard. I prefer the Milwaukee area local versions, that my Mother enjoyed growing up there. However, Culver's is a fine chain restaurant alternative, and a place (the one in Ames) where I still take my 94 year-old Dad. I rarely diverge from the frozen custard choices, so I'll leave other reviewers to discuss the butter burger and other food choices. I will say that with chain restaurants, I know what to expect, and at this Culver's that's what I received. I happened to be at this Culver's in Forest Lake (North of the Twin Cities) because this was a snack and comfort break stop as my high school friend Bob/Bird and I were driving from Duluth to MSP. The frozen custard hit the spot and was filling enough that I don't remember eating anything substantial until I was at my connecting airport at Salt Lake City. Good Times! read more

Management is rude, disrespectful and did not address the issue. Food is mediocre. Restaurant was unclean - especially the bathroom. Would not recommend this location to others. Definitely will not be back. Terrible customer service by the manager. Other staff was great! read more

I asked for a large concrete mixer, they gave me a small but wait, thats not all, i asked for raspberries and blackberries in my mixer and they gave me brownies and fudge, at least they only stirred the top of the cup read more

How did I spend $24.33 and NOT get a good meal? In the words of my 4-year old that got the child's "icky burger", it was NOT the butterbugers that we loved. This burger was naked-no ketchup or mustard or pickle. Even though I requested NO mayo, my fish sandwich WHICH I did NOT order (I ordered the Cod Filet meal) it was drowning in mayo (or some other kind of whitish slime). Yuck. Skip the line in Forest Lake-go down the road read more

Yes, Culver's! This Fast food has heart and soul to it and the staff really seems to like what they are doing so it makes the food so much better! This is the best one I have been to. I keep coming back for the cheese curds and root beers floats! The have an easy drive thru too - try it. read more

Culver's - At Drive thru - Fast Food Near Me - Forest Lake, Minnesota

Service is terrible at this location they need a new manager and how to train employees

Don't go here if you're looking for "fast" food. I waited over 20 minutes for a burger and fries, while watching all of the teenage workers standing around, chitchatting, not much working going on. It was almost alarming the disrespect for customers and lack of work ethic. The food is not worth the wait. read more

This place is pretty hyped up in the Midwest. I was eager to try cheese curds for the first time and frozen custard for the first time. When we got our food I was let down. The frozen custard tasted like normal soft serve and really didn't seem that special. Of course it was tasty (since it's still ice cream duh) but I did't get the hype. The cheese curds just tasted like mini mozzerella sticks. Would I go again? Probably not. The stomach ache was not worth the just average junk food. read more

As I pulled in the parking lot I felt like I was in the Rocky Mountains because of the construction. I walked in the door and walked to the counter to order. The girl serving me was whispering and was not a people person. I sat down waiting for my food and the table was covered in crumbs I felt like I was on the beach with the amount of little crumbs. The whole floor was also covered in crumbs and overall disgusting.the food arrived and it was either a Sahara desert fry or a Antarctic ice. Overall experience horrible. read more

Nice clean place with a good selection of their famous Butter Burgers and frozen custard. It's a good spot to stop for a family with kids. They also have a drive through. Flavor of the day in frozen custard concoctions. read more

Yes my friend's it's fast food, so why bother with a lengthy review? Well, these hard working employees need some recognition too! They may be your future chef of a bigger and better restaurant, or your waitress at a swanky, pricey establishment. That being said, being a fast food burger it was rather good. It was a little greasy, but that is good, right....the bun was pretty fresh and the burger was good. I like the option of what is placed on that meaty patty, but i was hoping for a thicker patty. Maybe a 1/4 inch thick, and that is generous. Tasty deep fried onion rings, at least they varied in size and I like that in an onion ring. Overall pretty decent employees, attentive and helpful. Place was clean, no nasty tables or garbage on the floors. Worth stopping at for a quick burger fix. read more

I like the cheese curds, burgers, fries, shakes, and friendly service you get here. Nothing like the normal fast food joints, these people are nice and want to get you a butter burger and a freakin smile! read more

NO MAYO - Please. It is a small request. I know times are tough for any restaurant even fast food, but it is very important to me because I HATE MAYO, and when I get a sandwich with it I have to trough it away. Two times in 3 weeks I get mayo. DAMM. I don't check it until I get home 8 miles away, i know i should check before I leave the parking lot, but most days I just don't. Yesterday it was a double bacon and cheese basket, other wise I do the mushroom swiss. I go to Culvers because it is much better tasting than the rest of fast food, and it is always good. Not great, but good, a fair value. But guys I know you are busy but please SEE the special requests. :) read more

These idiots can't even get a basic cheeseburger order correct. All I ordered was a butter burger with ketchup and somehow they f**k it up and put mayo on it instead. read more

This Culver's is BY far the slowest and they never get my order right. When we ask for ketchup we get non. And when I order my drink it never came they never gave my the receipt to show them. When I ask for non of something they put it on anyway this is the worst Culver's I've been too and the one in Hudson is horrible too. I would give a solid 0.2 out of 5 if I could. read more

Take too long for the food. The meal here does not taste as good as the Culvers in St Paul. Bad experience for me and my wife!

Waited half an hour for 2 simple burgers and fries. The cheese was not even melted and everything was cold when we finally got them! Will not come here again!! read more

We visited Culver's in forest lake on the way back from Taylors fall. The burgers were awesome and we had seconds. The service was quick and helpful. read more

I asked for a butter burger with added cheese and bacon and they gave me a plain burger with only cheese and bacon. How stupid do you have to be, not only that the cheese curds have been sitting for well over 10 minutes. Never coming back here. read more

I love Culver's. This review is about the horrible service we just received. We came on Sunday September 17th, 2017. We placed our order at 6:12pm. We ordered two burgers and two fries. Super simple. Culver's always take a long time but we didn't get our food until 6:36. Almost 25 minutes spent waiting. We would've gotten our food faster at a restaurant. It wasn't slow but it definitely wasn't busy. A family was waiting next to me and I was eavesdropping. I heard them ask the register employee how much longer. Then we all heard the manager loudly tell an employee to bring their food out and apologize to them. The young male employee said but what if I'm not sorry. The woman manager said "I get it. I'm not sorry either. But we have to at least pretend." The family wasn't happy. The employee DIDN'T apologize. And it took them 30 minutes to get their order. When I finally got my order, I got no apologies either. Our fries were warm but our burgers were cool. Definitely not even freshly microwaved. That manager should be fired. So unprofessional. And an awful representation of the Culver's brand. read more

Usually I fucking love Culver's. I always get a chopped steak dinner, family fries and my own diet drink (I take about 3 - 4 different pops and mix half of it with water). But today I got high af and ordered the usual. Instead what I got was cow udders and cold fries and I heard some people in the back rubbed their genitals on it. I didn't complain at the time because I didn't really mind. The only reason I am upset is because the kid at the register said to me "have a nice day, sir" when I don't sexually identify myself as a man. I corrected him and he laughed at me. I asked to speak to the manager and he called me a faggot and laughed too. By this time I was in tears and ready to leave. Udder than that good food. read more

I went to this Culver's today and got a salad because I'm gluten-free and vegan now. I asked for no cheese and no chicken. After waiting 20 minutes, I got my meal with chicken on it, so I told them to remake it without the chicken and to add extra walnuts. It took them 2 minutes this time to make my meal. When I got that back it had cheese. My salad was close to $10 and my needs were not met. I had also given them the receipt, so they should have seen that I asked for no cheese as well. Although they didn't get that correct the cashier was very helpful and understanding. read more

Gotta have yourself some frozen custard...delicious! Butter burgers seem to have decreased in size over the years, but they are still tasty.

Wow The menu for the custard is very confusing. And one employee could not explain it. The staff treated us like we should know the menum We r not from an area where there culvers. The dinning room chairs and booth seats are all riped and the place where the napkins r is filty! read more

This Culver's is average in almost every category. Wait times can be an issue at this location, but food quality is consistent.

We love the ice cream. It is so yummy. If you like shakes, concrete mixers or banana splits, this is the place for you! They have a flavor of the day if you're wanting to try something new. My husband also loves the cheese curds, but we're happy no matter what we order. And it's well priced. You can eat for under $10 pp. read more

The service is AWFUL!! 6 workers standing around with one working the register. And 1/2 doz people waiting in line for service. Takes FOREVER to get a concrete mixer. ONE!!! Now if it weren't for their custard, I'd never go back. Every time it's like this. read more
