Today after church we decided at the last minute to stop here for lunch. It was busy and we knew it would be given that it's Sunday and mothers day. My wife, son and I all ordered the all natural lemonade. Just like we have done many times and many locations including this one we went up for a refill. THE female employee behind the counter told my son they don't do refills on that lemonade. My husband went up and the same female employee loudly said so that the entire resurant could hear that we couldn't get a refill. There was no offer for paying 25 cents for more or anything like that. It was a straight up no with an attitude. We could get the fountain lemonade but tthat is subpage in taste That same female employee was having an obvious passive aggressive power struggle with the manager. It was causing the whole kitchen to appear to be in chaos and very disorganized. We are rethinking if we will come back to this restaurant. The tv menu was broken so we couldn't fully see what our options are. They had lamaneted copies of the menus that they handed to the customers but they were very rough. Also in the future if you don't give refills on that lemonade maybe put a sign on it saying you don't. read more

Was the worst experience I have ever had two employees was cursing at eachother and was talking that one was calling the other B*tch very unprofessional very rude. Also the other employees were laughing at the situation, like if you see your employees are being rude to eachother either someone step up be a leader not a pawn to just watching and laughing and handle them NEVER GO HERE PLACE IS JUST ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE read more

It won't let me do a negative star review! Has happened multiple times.mixed up and missing food. Apple pecan salad does NOT say it has craisins/ raisins but our apple pecan salad managed to have those, but NOT the pecans it's supposed to have! Could've told me or mentioned it was going to be a different salad- and ask if that was alright- but nope. Was not a fresh salad either- which typically they have been at least fresh- this one has been hanging out in the fridge too long. Tried to call- no answer- shocking.... If they forget a sauce your out- if you ask for one extra- you pay. there are maybe two people who seem to care about customer service at this Wendy's- avoid it- go to White Castle or Wendy's in a different town- avoid Forest Lake location. read more

3 strikes and your out! Love Wendy's but this location is horrible. Our 3rd and final experience with this was the last straw. We were missing food, but the guy wearing a AirPod and a headset said that is what was given to him and then when we asked for a receipt , he wouldn't give us one! And all we could hear was yelling from the front counter as it seems like all the other staff were in an argument of some sort. My other 2 times have been bad and received no help from the upper management when called. If your wanting a good and enjoyable fast food experience, go somewhere else if you don't want to feel like you got cheated out of your money. read more

Terrible experience here. The employees are rude. They just ignored us then argued over who would take our order. We were the only ones in the restaurant. After we ordered, the person stated the total then,as I tapped my card to pay, she just walked away. No receipt. Not another word. We waited quite a while for our food and the fries were cold and we had to ask for new ones. The burgers were literally dripping ketchup. The whole experience was bad and I'll never go back. Forest Lake has many options for food. Do not choose this one. The corporate office should step in here as this place makes Wendy's name look bad. read more

I put in an online drive thru order at 12 am a whole HOUR before they close. I pull up and I am ignored at the microphone and completely ignored at the window after honking my horn. Completely rude behavior by the staff. I never received my food. And so I had to cancel my order. Horrible ambiance in this store. read more

Very kind and friendly workers. They served us super fast. We were in and out in a breeze. It tasted amazing would recommend.

Wendy's - Burgers Near Me - Forest Lake, Minnesota

Generally I like Wendy's restaurants, but I think they have gone downhill a bit over the past few years. My experience a this Wendy's has never bee bad, but never been great either. The ordering process has been slower than most the past few years as well as the quality of the food. Today I used the app to order ahead and use a deal that was available if you got a premium combo. I placed the order a few minutes before I arrived and decided to eat in. There were only 2 tables with people there and a couple vehicles at the drive thru. They must not have seen my order and had to pull it up and I still waited for too long. The people working were OK, but not overly friendly or helpful. The fish sandwich I got was overcooked and tough on the edges. If it had been any worse I would have returned it. Again not bad, but not good either. I'd love to see the place do well, but they need to take it up a couple notches to stop in very often. The place appeared clean, though I am not a fan of the decor. read more

I have loved Wendy's for years-- above beyond all others-- but until TODAY, i had been ssoooo disappointed with so many Wendy's that served VERY poorly prepared food. Today THAT CHANGED‼ I took advantage of yesterday's NEW PROMO -- yes, a " double stack" with cheese FOR ONLY $1‼‼ I never had one, but ordered 3 with mayonnaise as well as the Cod meal. Wow‼ Wonderfully hot , Cooked perfectly. Moist, VERY succulent juicy, well seasoned (!!), little salt added ( normally bland), PERFECT cheese plenty of it as melted 100%, not cold hard. Tasted FABULOUS! Yes, i was in total shock because Sssoooo many Wendy's are creating mediocre very poorly prepared semi warm tasteless meals . And my double stack looked JUST like Corporate's expensive posters. SHOCK. I am not your normal mom housewife, years ago i was very very lucky to have a rare career starting in 1972 in food products marketing in Europe and the Middle East. And, i am a serious passionate cook who made from scratch all my family's meals. Wendy's has always been a leader in innovation-- like their GREAT sides of baked potatoes hot meat chili w perfect cheese, TWO salads (!), etc. Even McDonalds is copying Wendys by announcing today using fresh beef which Wendy's has done for years!! But Wendy's struggle now in today's fierce industry War, is quality control.... But, THIS location is most most rare. They even asked me if i would be willing to wait as they cooked my Cod sandwich FRESH ... AND, if i would like them to keep my 3 double stacks warm under the heating light (‼‼). Yes, my mouth dropped open in complete shock. Never ever has any fast food franchise i have visited in many states asked me this question ! The families near Forest Lake are most fortunate to have this Wendys. Fortunate for me i JUST moved much of my storage to an excellent mini storage in Forest Lake ( great great town), so I will definitely return! read more

This place is lost. We used to be weekly regulars. Now we hit it every 6 months just to see. Tonight we hit it abd omg. It was just over cool, tasteless, and we couldn't finish the meals. Don't go here, lots of options on the east side of the freeway. read more

As several others have said the customer service is rarely good. There is not another Wendy's for me that is within a reasonable driving distance but this location won't get my business anymore. Most of the time my special orders of no cheese are messed up. Most of the time the people at the counter, all the way up to the manager, are at best just tolerant of customers and at worst downright rude. read more

Every single time I convince myself that stopping at this Wendy's on my way home will be a good choice. Every single time I'm wrong. Even pre covid the drive through is ridiculous. On multiple occasions I have spent over 40 minutes waiting in line when it should've taken maybe 10. If I could give zero stars I would. I only suggest stopping here if you have an hour to spare, immense amounts of patience, and revel in the opportunity to have garbage service for moderate food. Sorry Wendy's... but you need to figure your ish out... read more

I give Wendy's in Forest Lake a big fat 0 they really need to teach their employee's CUSTOMER SERVICE. The last several times when I'be gone there I feel like I am intruding on their time, they all but throw my food at me (which feels like there saying "here now go away.") I am done going and it really doesn't matter who serves me. They are just VERY rude. read more

The lady in the drive through with the scabs all over her face that is obviously on drugs yelling at me, told me she didn't have time for me and she didn't know how to do refunds. I asked for a refund for a coffee drink that tasted absolutely horrible. This was the first time I have ever experienced something like this and I was in shock. The few times that I have gone here for food before today, the service was always ok but the food was never really that great. Highly DO NOT recommend going here. Rude sketchy employees and bad food. read more

I'm beyond upset. I went to get a frosty and I pull through and politely asked if the frosty was a medium, because it looked a little small. 1st visit we went to get a bisquit breakfast sandwich. They said they were OUT of biscuits. We were then only ones there. We wanted to try it again, BIG MISTAKE. The woman who took our order was rude beyond. We got our breakfast sandwiches and they were dry and just plain horrible. I wanted to file a complaint on line but low and behold I never got a receipt and when I tried to ask, she slammed the window shut. I tried to call the store for the number but the number doesn't work. Go someplace else !! read more

I wish there was an option for no stars!! This is the 3rd time we went here food and when i call to NOT GET A REFUND BUT TO MAKE THEM AWARE!The manager on duty says to me well I'm training someone and we dont give refunds! I am the GENERAL MANAGER of a restaurant SO I KNOW THE CORRECT WAY TO HANDLE A SITUATION AND WHOEVER CHRISTY IS IF THAT WAS EVEN HER NAME REALLY NEEDS TO WORK ON HERSELF AND HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! You guys messed up more than once and your mad at us WORST WENDYS EVER. Also never received a call or email back from the district manager or area coach read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered through drive up tonight and specifically asked for no tomato on chicken sandwich due to an ALLERGY. The person taking order asked for clarification and again stated it was an ALLERGY. They stated "ok". Unfortunately my husband didn't check before leaving and when we opened sandwich there was a tomato on it. Now some people would just pick it off but for someone with a food allergy this isn't an option. Due to severe weather we were unable to return back to get it corrected. This happened once in the past too and I did return to the location with no apology or anything from the staff. Again-- it shouldn't have happened. I gave them another chance but won't be back again. Wish they would take allergy seriously as its not just a preference. read more

We wanted cheeseburgers, what we got was a whole lot of disappointment. Two meals and one cheeseburger cost $30 and the people were rude. I've been coming to this same Wendy's for years and it's always been great, but since I've gotten older I havent been around in a while. I decided to stop in about a month ago and my order was wrong, it took a long time, and employees were short and rude with me. I figured it might have been a one time thing and let it go, but when my boyfriend and I came back today to get lunch, the employees were so rude that she THREW my boyfriend's card at him. He caught it, and after getting our food he told the women to have a nice day, to which she replied by slamming the window. And our orders were wrong, again. I went through the drive thru today for a small lemonade and small fries. I thought it was a simple order but I sat in line for a good ten minutes. I felt like the customer service was slow and to my disappointment, the workers were NOT wearing masks!
