Culligan's Windsor, CT office is an absolute disgrace to customer service. My wife and I were both told--on two separate occasions--by the same unbelievably rude front desk woman that if we didn't like the fact our water wouldn't be delivered (which we pay for), we could just "come pick it up ourselves." Excuse me? We're paying you for delivery--not for sass and disrespect. Even worse, I canceled the service months ago and requested that they pick up their water cooler. They never showed. Never followed up. Then, out of the blue, they call to confirm a delivery I never asked for. It's like they're running this place with blindfolds and earmuffs. Now they're trying to tell me I owe $399? For what--ghost deliveries and ignored service calls? I even contacted corporate and was told it would be handled. Spoiler alert: it wasn't. The same nonsense continues. No one knows what they're doing, and no one seems to care. This isn't just bad service. It's disgusting. I've never been treated so poorly by a company in my life. At this point, I'm considering getting the media involved just to shed light on the circus act they're running over there. Avoid this company like a glass of dirty water. I'm at the point where I'm ready to drive the half an hour to their warehouse and drop the damn thing off myself. I've since cancelled our service and the cooler and bottles have been sitting on my porch for weeks waiting to be picked up. To add insult to injury, when I signed up they had a special going on and I was supposed to get the first delivery for $10. They ended up charging me more than twice that for the first delivery, then another $50 something after that. Three of the four bottles I initially ordered were exchanged (from purified water to spring water) and after that I was afraid to drink anymore because my entire family was experiencing GI issues. In total, we used 2 bottles. So I basically paid $70+ for 2-5 gallon bottles of water and cooler rental. Infuriating. Worst company ever. UPDATE: Thank you for your response, Debra. Since then I had "NO" delivery on time and neither delivery at all, So basically running out of water and charges for the cooler without using it. So I called the customer service and explained to them, and also I CANCEL my membership and service with them at the same time. So they said that they will come and pick up the cooler and gallons...... and Guess what? FOR A MONTH NO ONE SHOW UP FOR PICKING UP and I CALLED THEM MORE THAN 5 TIMES to take out the incorrect charges and pick up the staff. ALSO, They charge me for the cool rent for a month.
