We woke up this morning and had no water. We called Banner Water. They said they had a tech on our street and they would send them over when they were done. They came within 5 mins. They checked the well pump and the switch. It was determined a toilet was running and drained the tank. They said if we had any more problems to call. And NO CHARGE! Who does that anymore. Called them on Saturday 1/22 left a voicemail message as our bubbler system had a flashing yellow light. No call back so I called back on 1/26 and spoke with an unknown female who took my cell number and advised someone would call me back. After no call again I called back on 1/27 and spoke with Chris who advised he called several times but my voicemail was full. I advised I had my phone on me and I did not receive any calls nor is my voicemail full. I explained my situation and was advised the system needed to be reset as it was approaching 80,000 gallons. I asked if it needed to be serviced and was advised possibly but I need to contact someone else as they did not come out that far. I advised they are the ones that installed the unit 4 years ago and completed service on it about two years ago. Again Chris advised he would need to double the labor because I live to far away. They did the initial installation and completed a service call and now I'm to far away. Stay away from this company as when it's crunch time they are truly unhelpful. read more

Very limited knowledge in water treatment and clearly poor customer service. I've had several issues with Banner over the years until I finally washed my hands of them. They flooded my basement the first time I used them. In another instance they installed an oxidizing unit to enhance iron removal. However, the cheap birm media they used in the oxidizer left my water with an odd odor and taste -- basically not drinkable. The system also did not work as they stated it would. They I did not take ownership of the issue, an indicator of poor customer and warranty service. The also installed a UV light and the build lasted only 6 months of the advertised 12 months. They stuck me with the cost of replacement lamp, too. I performed my own research and replaced the oxidizing media myself, as well as the cheap resin they used in the softener. It now works as intended. I will not use nor recommend Banner. read more

The people here are very responsive, even on weekends. Quick response is important with things like the water in your home (or lack thereof). The people are professional, and so far seemed to have done a good job with the well and water systems in our home. I get the feeling that they are not the cheapest contractors you can get, but the guys seem upstanding and competent, which is worth a lot. There is definitely something to the saying that you get what you pay for. I would not hesitate to call Banner Water for a quote if you have any issues with your well or water systems. Why not five stars then? I don't really feel qualified to say that they are as good as it gets. But I'm definitely a fan. read more

I would highly recommend this company. They first off return phone calls, which others companies lack. It started with me looking for a part at a store and the salesperson said call Banner Water. At first I Emma's hesitant, is this guy work on commission. But I called, they came out and gave me an estimate. I had 2 other companies come out and give me estimates. Banner beat the prices. Beat one company by almost 1/2. Everyone in the company is very professional, and did great work. I've had an issue with odor in my well water for years. I installed a system with a friend that was supposed to take care of it, but didn't. Years later, I had an anti scold valve at my hot water tank installed in order to keep the water tank at a high temp to kill off anaerobic bacteria. That helped, but didn't cure the problem. Finally, I got in touch with Banner and they installed a hydrogen peroxide injection system..problem solved! For the first time in a decade, my well water is perfect. I wish I had hired them years ago. It would have avoided a lot of aggravation and expense. read more

I just had Banner install a softener at my home. I wanted a custom installation with untreated cold water at my kitchen sink for drinking. Sean understood what I wanted and sent Dennis to install. As I was talking to Dennis he realized I wasn't enthusiastic at the prospect of adding salt to the treatment system in my crawl space where the conditioner is located. Dennis offered to put the brine tank in a more accessible location in my basement, rather than right next to the rest of the equipment. With this solution I won't have to drag bags of salt into a crawl space to refill the system. Needless to say, this made me very happy. They offer a delivery service for salt, but with this solution I won't need it for many more years. When I do need that service, I'll get it from Banner! read more

Well months later and they decide to respond here but behind the scenes my Insurance Company along with the BBB are investigating. At this point the company has tried to lie about correspondence with Liberty Mutual and that has not gone over so well with those agents. I appreciate the lies about "water stains on the walls" when my basement as fully finished with no damage up until I used their company for outside well work. It seems a coincidence that as these issues seem to continue I have been contacted by other residents of Tolland who have had similar issues with Banner Water and Bullied by the Owners wife. It is too bad up until this issue I had a good relationship with Sean, the owner and his service technicians. However being spoken to in an unprofessional manner by his wife and her wonderful attitude towards others involved in this manner I would not recommend this company again. read more

These folks are absolutely the best! Called them at 7.35am on a snowy day (2/5/15) & by 10.30am (less than 3 hours later) they had removed & replaced my well pump & our home had running water! The technician, John, was extremely competent & thorough. He was able to replace our deep well (350 ft) pump by himself, all while working in a snowstorm. There is no reason to use anyone else if you live in the area. Already have reserved their services for the Spring when our water softener & iron remover cartridges will need refreshing.
