Professional and friendly, but they were way too expensive for the time spent, and I provided the kitchen faucet.

We had a great experience with the guys from JTP. They fixed a couple issues on the spot and gave us helpful advice on some future projects.

The technician did good work but $671 to snake a drain is outrageous. They were here for 20 minutes.

This experience with Service Relief did not go well and still isn't fully resolved…read more First I called several weeks ago to schedule what I thought would be a minor job. No call back after a full week. I finally schedule service and the first service tech is unable to resolve the issue and says he will need to order parts. I get a date when they will come back and end up with a service tech that replaces the faucet and shower head and leaves me with a dripping shower faucet and a hole in the wall that I tells me I need to get an access cover with no real details. He also tells me that since they can't replace the fixtures in my bathroom sink I need to purchase a new vanity and faucet. Mind you over the several days that it took to come out the second time these items could have been ordered and at my home or ready for pick up. On the scheduled day of the third appointment I get a call as I am leaving work to get home for the service that indicates the service tech has an emergency and can't make it. On the fourth day I get several calls from scheduling about where to pick up the items I ordered and then finally requesting the order number. Two techs arrive to install the new vanity and faucet. During the install they started talking about me or another customer while in my bathroom. After all this they try to convince me that my shower faucet isn't leaking and then say if it starts to they can come back. In addition after they left I found two of my towels balled up on the floor wet and with debris in them. They never asked to use these towels for this purpose. My shower faucet is still dripping. At least I have new fixtures and a new vanity.

I've been doing that monthly for a year only to find out from another technician that this is ABSOLUTELY not normal and the feeder was broken from the inception. Service relief came out today and denied all responsibility because of course the 1 year warranty has expired. example # 2 -- prior to boiler installation called service releif out to check my AC unit in back yard. SAME technician told me your unit needs to be replaced and will cost like 12 grand -- i ordered a new fan from EBAY and installed it myself and unit has been working fine for last 2 years !!!! On July 9 2026, I had a terrible experience with Alvin's Plumbing and Heating LLC. Before scheduling, I called to ask about their diagnostic fees to estimate a under-sink filter leak repair. A representative told me it would cost $60 to send a technician, who would then give me a price estimate. However, when the technicians arrived, they never mentioned a hidden baseline fee of $195 just to touch the plumbing. One technician immediately began working without providing an upfront estimate. He cut one inch of a small 1/4" plastic pipe, which fixed the leak. When I asked for the total, he revealed the $195 charge. I was outraged by this hidden fee. Since he was already there, I asked about replacing a bathroom faucet. I explicitly asked if the $195 would be separate or if it would roll into the cost of the new job. They told me, "No, the $195 is going to roll into the cost of the additional job." The office quoted a total price of $225. I agreed to this. After the work was done, they wanted charge my credit card $420 ($195 + $225), completely going back on their word. I requested the manager's number to dispute this overcharge, but the owner refused to honor the agreed upon price. Despite multiple phone calls, I have not received a refund. This company uses misleading sales tactics, hides fees until the work is done, and takes advantage of old citizens. I am submitting an official complaint with Better Business Bureau
