Tony Isarai of JET Plumbing is an amazing plumber. He has performed so many services for us over the years. His work is always performed exceptionally well. Recently, he installed a new furnace and water heater at our home. We have lived in this home for over thirty years and we never had a warm comfortable home. After Tony installed the new furnace there are no more cold areas and no more loud knocking noises in the middle of the night. Thankfully we have a new furnace when the cost of heating oil increased dramatically. Our oil consumption has been cut significantly and our home is warmer and more comfortable to live in. WOW !! Hard to imaging a better company.. We had a major job in Enfield, Ct., and the difficulty was compounded by antiquated previous plumbing, and the need to knock it out in a single day. Tony, Miri and their assistant replaced two toilet seats for me with two Toto bidet seats, replaced my 50 year-old leaky kitchen faucet with a lovely new Kohler faucet they had on the truck, replaced 4 ancient shut-off valves - 2 under my sink for no charge - and unclogged my upstairs shower drain, all in under 3 hours. They came early (calling ahead to make sure it was ok), explained everything ahead of time and as they were doing the work, gave me a thorough tutorial on how the bidet remote worked, and - AND!! - asked if, since there were 3 of them here, was there anything heavy that I needed moved in the house? (yes!), as they could see that my husband and I were both elderly and mobility-limited. Are you kidding? Who does that? Tony & Miri, that's who. Tony answers his phone, calls you back, gives you a timely appointment, and the best advice and counsel. I have rarely encountered such professionalism and courtesy from anyone in the 40 years I have lived in my 110 year-old Hartford South End house. A huge thank you to Jet Plumbing for their installation of our bathroom vanity. Tony and his brother were informative, professional and friendly. The installation was beautiful with a custom curved baseboard cut, done by Tony, to seamlessly accommodate the curved legs of the vanity. Pricing seemed fair and worth the service and attention to seemingly every detail. Even beyond the job they were fantastic. After their departure we realized we were missing a feline. Thinking he may have escaped with the back and forth to the truck, I called Tony while on the verge of tears. He was incredibly understanding and assured me that both he and his brother always make sure to close doors upon all entries and exits. I had a great experience with Tony! I had a shower leak and needed to have the plumbing replaced. I chose Tony because not only was his quote less expensive than others, but he also provided a lot more detail and forethought when he came to look at my issue. He and his brother did the repairs quickly and were able to problem solve any issues that arose. They were very friendly and respectful, making sure everything was cleaner than when they arrived and wore masks the entire time. I also found out after the repair was done that my plumbing leak had previously reached the unit below me. I needed some additional documentation from Tony for my insurance claim and he sent over everything I needed very quickly to help get it resolved. Tony and his brother did a fantastic job replacing the main stack and several other old pipes and drains in my 1959 house, one of which was behind a wall in the guest bathroom. Tony was able to cut open the wall in a such a way that all the seams were hidden behind the vanity and toilet once fixed, so nothing was noticeable. They were friendly and worked hard to provide the best experience possible. They also wore masks and foot protection in the house, which is appreciated. Tony, of Jet Plumbing, is a fantastic guy who has been honest and reliable ever since I began calling him a year ago. He has come out to the house between jobs to inspect the plumbing system with short notice if he is in the area. He keeps his appointments (wish all contractors would show on time to their appointments). Tony even text me once when he was running just 10 minutes behind from another job, which I thought was extremely courteous seeing that 10 minutes to me is no big deal at all. I had a leaking shower head and called. Company replied very quickly to request a photo. I texted a photo, and company called to say if I buy the necessary part (valve), they will come install it for $175-$200. However, finding the right replacement part is 95% of the difficulty of fixing the leak. I then went to youtube and learned how to remove the valve with nothing more than a screwdriver. The installation of the valve took me (non-expert) about 10 minutes. I'm grateful for the quick reply, but the two stars are for (1) asking me to spend time finding the right part before coming (i.e., doing their job) and (2) charging $200 for something that took someone with access to youtube and screwdriver 15 minutes to do. I'd recommend doing some research before calling. Edit: Shortly after posting the original review (above) the company tracked down my phone number from our earlier interaction and called me unsolicited to complain about my review. Plumbing problems ALWAYS happen at the most random times. On this particular occasion, I walked into my basement and unexpectedly found a pipe spewing water everywhere... at 9:30pm on Sunday night. Needless to say, I cursed for a few minutes... then panicked a bit... then tried to patch it up on my own. I failed. Because I suck at plumbing. The next morning I hopped on good old Yelp to find a reputable plumber to help me out. I called up Jet Plumbing and was greeted by Tony, who couldn't possibly have been more friendly. I explained the situation, and he said he would come by around lunchtime to check it out, in between scheduled jobs that he already had booked. As promised, he showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed quickly and efficiently. I just had the pleasure of working with Jet plumbing to install a new soaking tub as part of a bathroom remodel. Not only did he install the tub, but also replaced all of the lines in the bathroom that were original to the house (1941). Tony was excellent to work with. He helped us through the entire process. Talked through our remodel with us, provided us tips and suggestions for how to be successful in our first 'do-it-yourself' bathroom endeavor and was there for any questions we had. We had a wonderful experience with Tony of Jet Plumbing. My husband reached out to him on Saturday morning and was quick to call back. He came out on Wednesday (our issues were not an emergency). Tony gave us an hour window and called when he was on his way so that my husband could leave work and meet him at the house. He took a look at our two issues (we needed to replace the plumbing under our kitchen sink and the water shut off valve in the basement was leaking) and explained what he would have to do to fix them and what it would cost.
