I could not believe these sub humans. 79.50 I am told gets them to the door. Then they charged me another hundred for an assessment. the tech shakes the pressure tank and says it is flooded. Next morning I have several gallons of water on floor, Had to fix a leak.{caused by shaking the tank) They did not explain their billing. I asked for an estimate. BEWARE!!!! They do not disclose charges for a service call, I was quote $95 on the phone, then when they tech was finished he said there was an additional assessment fee of $60 (new total $155!) and the $95 was just for him to show up at the door. Also the price of the replacement pump changes from $3,000 (quoted on the phone) to $4,600 (in person). I guess they take advantage of a situation when you are desperate but I told them to LEAVE! I learned my lesson, now I'm hiring a company with integrity. This past Sunday afternoon our water stopped and I immediately called Aqua Pump. In less than an hour I received a call back from Shane who was the technician on call. he said that he was currently on a job but should be at my house in an hour. He arrived on time and quickly determined that it was my well pump that needed replacing. He showed me the pricing for the job and said that he could do the work right away. So what I thought was going to be a "no water" situation for a few days ended up being just being out of water for only a few hours. The Technicians were prompt and professional which is the only reason I am giving a second star. They charged a "flat rate" to change our water pump and refused to give a breakdown of charges. Being that the pump was already pulled we agreed to the work. After the fact we did some research and found that the "flat rate" was the cost of the pump and labor for 2 guys at over $225/hr each! Came to our new home to assess our well. Punctual / arrived in time frame specified. Went over the issues and gave us a quote for the work. Quote was within $200 of final price which wasn't bad. It was easy to communicate with their office and when we couldn't find the instructions they we were supposed to leave (it had been forgotten), I called the follow up as I was out of town and the gentleman who did the service promptly called my husband and reviewed everything and what to expect again. This company just charged my mother $180 for a home consultation which competitors offer for FREE, only to be told in matter of a minute that she would need the system to be fully replaced because it was outdated and they did not have the parts. Mind you on file when we called to set up this appointment it stated they have not serviced this system since 2004. A answer that could of been given over the phone. About a month ago they came and fixed my well cuz I had no water it was a broken wire. 2 weeks later my well stopped working again I called them up on a Saturday holiday weekend told me it was going to be $4,000 to fix my well didn't even look at it. No one can provide info or answer questions other than Scott...& you can wait days & week to get a call back from him. Terrible company-my wife got fed up with our water softener and decided she just buy a new system. 3000 dollars later our water is still mostly brown and they refuse to service it. The old system had a broken timer but worked well when it was turned on regularly, the new system is pretty much useless. read more

I called aqua pump after seeing there Commercials On Cox Cable TV Looked Like a good Outfit to deal with advertising is everything Then i went to review them and read a lot of negative feedback about price gouging and over charging on the internet reviews but decided to try them anyway to give them the benefit of the Doubt So i was charged for an emergency call of $95.00 because it was not a scheduled visit normally its 65.00 to come out i was told and an assessment fee of $85.00 which i was told is dropped once they start working on the problem so thats a total of $180.00 to just come out I agreed to this with Heidi the lady who answered phone and set up the service call.I explained to her that i am a Senior and on Disability through Social Security and don't work And Cant work Due to my Disability I'm on a very limited income she asked me to tell the service man that and he would call the owner and talk to him about it. After 2 hours the Truck showed up i was surprised to see 2 Men Show up wearing short pants looked odd and unprofessional I explained my disability to Austin the serviceman he said his boss does not give price breaks unless you have a $8000.00 Dollar job Or More.So they wanted to start replacing a bunch of parts And these parts are packages If you need a control you have to buy a new gauge with it as a package if you need a Gate Valve you have to buy a blow off valve with it as a package.I asked the prices and thought They where very high $103.00 Dollars An hour each man plus parts & Tax I said i could not afford that i knew my pressure gauge was faulty but they could not just replace that because of the book they go by for parts packages and labor set up by there Boss Scott Nigro They did not know what my problem was and where stumped Finally it turned out to be a clogged aerator they took the top of rinsed it of with water and some iron out not cleaning out the aerator tank because they would have had to cut the line to remove it and a a union a few dollar part they wanted 50 dollars for so they skipped that put it back together half the job done like draining the motor oil in your car and replacing the oil filter and reusing the old oil.There was no reason for two men to do this job it was a one man job.They where here about an hour or so Austin said the price would be Under $200.00 All In i said OK went upstairs to check the faucets came back down to the basement they had taken there tool bucket out and where in the truck writing up the bill They had Talked to there Boss Scott On the Phone About what they had did then i was informed That the Price was $400.00 The Price Doubled in 5 Minutes with a Phone Call Talk about Price Gouging And Outrageous Scamming! I refused to pay or sign the bill and i was very angry this happened You Just Cant Do that its unfair and just plain There Was Confusion Bad communication and misunderstanding going back and forth on what they where going to do and it was very unprofessional and uncalled for again 2 men where not needed no matter what there verbal price was the final and real price is when they call Scott on the Phone and he gives the servicemen the actual price without being there on the job This is my story If you want to get Ripped Off and the Facts Twisted You can call them I do not RECOMMEND them and Being a Former Building Contractor for over 40 years Had never Treated anybody like that and would never and being Mentally Disabled Made it very Challenging for me and completely overwhelmed me! read more
