I did extensive…read moreresearch before choosing a moving company and, while I came across a few past negative reviews that gave me slight hesitation, I ultimately decided to move forward after speaking with Meti to arrange everything. From start to finish, their communication was exceptional -- especially considering we scheduled the move just one week in advance. The entire process was smooth and well-coordinated. Ray, George, and Frank were professional, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. They worked efficiently while still being very careful with my daughter's belongings. Carrying everything up three flights of stairs was no small task, yet they handled it with great attitudes and attention to detail. There was absolutely no damage to the apartment complex or her possessions. At her new place, which has brand-new carpet, they thoughtfully laid down carpet runners to protect it. We truly appreciated their professionalism, efficiency, and kindness. This move was absolutely worth every dollar.

I would advise anyone to not use this company and look somewhere else, based on facts only…read more Charged me for 1200 cubic foot on the move and when it was put into my storage unit for 2 weeks (10x15x8 = 1200 cubic foot), there was 250-500 cubic foot worth of space in the unit left. So over charged Was told they had TV boxes (no charge) but they put a blanket on the TV's and taped the corners to tight which curved a 77" TV (so no boxes but charged me extra for the blankets). The TV was broken and would not turn on Broke lamps, desk, multiple cabinets, and lost the legs to my couch. So, replacing everything they broke including the TV adds up to 4k-6k after over charging the cubic foot. Contacted the company and was told that it would be 2-4 weeks for my claim to be resolved, it is now 7 weeks in and they denied it due to the fact I did not unpack everything in the storage unit to check what they broke/damaged. I wasn't able to do that until two weeks later. They also were 1.5 hours early (with no call) when they picked up my stuff and 4 hours late to drop it off. I have use multiple companies to move over the years, but World's Best Mover have been worse and the biggest bait & switch from the sales pitch. Hopefully, this experience saves others from being overcharged, having their stuff broken, and terrible customer service all the way around. Note- The actual moving people were friendly and worked hard, the end result just was an overall bad experience

They were respectful and careful with our things and walls. We had some very heavy and bulky sofas and they certainly worked hard to get them through doors and stairwells. I recommend them highly. One of the first crew put shelf holders in his bag from our bar shelving, and was not part of the second crew, so we can't unpack the bar. They never offered to bring them back to us. Told us to go buy them. They also gashed in the corner of one of the night stands and never told us, and now, when I try to call them, it goes directly to voice mail and they never call back. I paid cash so there was no recourse through a credit card company to dispute the charge. They picked up our furniture on July 11, 2026, held it for 2 nights in 2 trucks. The second truck was only about 1/4 filled. They were scheduled to deliver to our new address at 1 pm on Monday, July 13th, at 1 pm. They arrived an hour early and our closing wasn't complete until 12:30. All the boxes were packed by us, were colored coded and marked for every room. Many of the boxes were placed in the wrong rooms or left in the garage and we had to carry heavy boxes into the correct areas. One box of record albums was completely broken. Don't ever ever rely on them to move you! they are terrible! This battle is not over!

Steer clear of this company. They are a complete scam…read more Long story short, they box you into a corner and make you pay much more than your estimate. They are absolutely non responsive to inquiries regarding your goods after load up, and never respond to claims filed after delivery. The detailed story... We worked with a 3rd party moving company (Allied Transportation) that subcontracted with Rapid Relocation. We were provided a quote by Allied and informed that, the day of, Rapid Relocation would video our goods and inform us of any changes. The first tip off was the estimated START time - we were provided a window of 4 to 6pm. I've had multiple cross country pack ups, during NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. They showed up just before 6pm with only two guys (we were told there would be three). After a quick walk around (no video) we were told we had more goods than estimated, but we'd have to wait until they were completed. They didn't come with the necessary boxes (such as wardrobe and dish pack), so had to run back to the warehouse to get more. Because of the short staffing and delays, they were packing and loading until almost MIDNIGHT (which is unacceptable, my mom is 70yo). Typically there is a person inventorying boxes with colored numbered stickers to ensure your stuff stays together. I didn't realize this step was skipped until the truck was half loaded. The guy assured me he was "taking count". At the end, they increased my quote by nearly 30%. He pointed to some lines at the top of the truck and said that was how the cubic foot estimate was made. I have pictures of the truck that show there was definitely dead space. But at this point, they have your stuff hostage - what can you do? Refuse to pay and they drive off with everything? Or unload it and keep the initial deposit? It was midnight, I was exhausted, so paid and figured we'd set things straight upon delivery. While things were en route and stored, they go radio silent. We had no idea where our stuff was or when we would get it. Working through Allied got us no where. They told us we could call/text RR, which never resulted in any response. Allied also informed us we could dispute the overage by obtaining evidence at pick-up of the true cubic footage. Fast forward almost a month...our delivery is finally scheduled (so grateful to finally hear from them!!). They tell us they should be there by 5pm, but arrive closer to 7pm with only two guys. My husband was there to video tape the unloading so we could confirm they overcharged us at pack up. But payment is demanded up front, so we are again held hostage and MUST PAY. Once they open the door, we realize there are multiple shipments on the truck with no clear delineation. Because of how the boxes were labeled (or rather, not) it wasn't clear what was ours. We literally had to guess on some things, which it not acceptable. My mom's mattress and boxspring, which were wrapped at loading, were laying on the floor of a dirty truck without protection. To make matters worse, it was pouring rain. But instead of them taking boxes inside one would push my mom's items to the foot of the truck and let it get drenched while the other guy did the running. Boxes were literally disintegrating in the hallway as they were brought in, furniture was pulled apart based on how it was handled. We had to ask them to put down protection for the floors or remove their shoes (this is standard practice). We paid for a package that was to include reassembly of furniture such as the bed, but we had to haggle with the guys who did not seem to think this was their job. At the end of the day, we had numerous damaged goods and some missing items. If you go to RR website and file a claim, you are not given a claim number, their site just informs you that someone will respond in 24-48 hrs. Nothing happens. So I filed another claim, took screenshots of the claim, and send the PDF to their two email addresses. Again, no response. They also don't respond to phone/text. It's been more than a month, which is completely unacceptable. At this point, I have zero faith I'll ever hear from them. I truly believe both Allied and Rapid Relocation run a scam. You cannot reach RR directly, so I hold Allied partially responsible for this mess. Allied rejected the overage claim on behalf of RR, and say that they don't deal with claims. They wiped their hands clean of it all as soon as the move was completed. We've filed multiple complaints where we can, but it's infuriating to know companies can just take your money, damage your goods and continue to operate.
