Moving is such a ridiculously stressful pain in the...ah...neck, but after my first phone call with Tom Gleason, I knew I chose the right company. I was all over the place with the dates I needed for drop off, for moving... but Tom worked with me and even threw in some humor that helped me maintain sanity throughout the process. He didn't run from my craziness, he accommodated my craziness. I'd like to think he may have actually even liked my craziness. Maybe that's too presumptuous of me. Anyway, we need more Toms around. The 20' unit we rented was perfect. The driveway drop off locations were perfect. I spoke with 2 of the drivers on the phone and met one for the final pickup just now (at 7:15am. Nice! When Tom says he'll have it picked up first thing ... he ain't kiddin!). Everyone I spoke with or met is super nice & friendly. Makes a difference when you're having to deal with all the stresses of moving. Oh. The pod itself! Probably shouldn't leave that out of the review. The pod was great too. Tons of rain (I'm talkin torrential downpours) while we had it and not a drop inside the thing. Use this company. Excellent customer service, great product & reasonable prices. A trifecta. Or a hat trick - if you're into hockey. ;)

Tom was amazing and had one delivered to me the same day being last minute decision. I really like the idea of having the storage bins on my yard.. prices are awesome. Customer service is great. There is no self storage option by the way which Yelp seems not to know. 1. They accidentally double booked me. Innocent enough. Somehow it got lost in transit(??) that they were packing as well as moving. 2. I've moved multiple times with my same set of furniture and items and these were the slowest movers I've had by far. 3. They want to charge me $265 to "transport" my items from their warehouse in West Haven... onto the loading dock of their warehouse in West Haven. So basically $265 to be able to get my things back and have nothing to do with them ever again.

I did not choose them because a neighbor of mine has a moving company and I got reviews from 5 different people who I know, who thought he was outstanding. Braun was my 2nd choice--although they came in higher. Read your bid carefully because they said if a 2nd truck was needed the bill would go up almost $2K. It's their business--they should know from the home visit the truck sizes needed.

It couldn't have been a better choice for us. On the day of the move 3 young guys showed up with a truck and all their packing equipment. With Gabrielle in the head and Igor and Matheus helping him they worked as a team wrapping everything and packing it in the truck. When they were all loaded we went to the Dover home, they unwrapped, brought in and put everything where we wanted it. These boys were top notch and deserve a big raise.
