AVOID RENTING HERE!! Renting at Cube Smart is the old bait and switch. They will charge you a lower rate to move in and within a few months they raise the rent by 20% or more! In one year, my rent was raised $125. This is unjustified! In addition, this facility is LITERALLY a homeless camp, so you can anticipate break-in of your unit due to the sketchy characters lingering around and doing drugs on-site. Despite the rules indicating that units are prohibited to be used as residences, the manager turns a blind eye to the activities. You cannot even utilize the restroom at the facility if you arrive at the facility at 6am, until the office opens and unlocks it because the homeless that live there will either sleep in the restroom or mess it up (bathing, etc). read more

They claim this place is air-conditioned, but for the past month, they have excuses but this place is air-conditioned and it is not by any means if you have things of any value, I would not choose this place. Extreme heat and storage units . Service is good. The price is good, but trying to save money on their power bill while your stuff gets overheated is definitely click bait nonsense read more

Do not get storage here. Your stuff will get robbed. It's definitely an inside job. They will call you and inform you that your Unit does not have locks anymore. And then you go and figure out what happened. And then they tell you they don't have cameras in the Ally, and when you do look at the little cameras, they do have. It's all blurry talking to another person that had a storage unit there. They said there's stuff also got stolen out of three storage units that they had. It's definitely a inside job because how do they know which storage unit to hit that has valuable goods and also what kind of storage unit does not have better security after it's already been robbed multiple times prior and they haven't fixed it. Do not get storage here!! read more

If you want your stuffs stolen, just bring it on down to this location. They will definitely make sure that your laptops, speakers, and anything thats electronics are gone without a trace because *drum roll* here's the bonus - THEIR CAMERAS DO NOT WORK! , and thats per Management when we tried reaching out for help. That's amazing isn't it ?. Ha. read more

Alisa helped me out. She made the process go easy and fast and answered all my questions.

They keep raising the rates. They are treating storage units like Cox cable and rental apartments. There is no reason to raise monthly rentals. People are struggling to pay bills and here is another corporate company taking advantage of people. CubeSmart's CEO is Chris Marr, total yearly compensation is $7.29M. You can't say it's inflation, it's GREED. Just awful! Also, about two years ago someone broke into my unit. Thank god nothing was stolen and they did move us to a different unit. I will be removing my items out and finding different storage space. read more

I have been to this store before. The scotch tape they sell you will break off or slant to the right or left and go off the roll. That means you can never get a piece of complete tape to tape the boxes. It does not roll anymore except for tape that are strips going around the roll. When a company sell moving boxes and then sells you an expensive scotch tape to seal it with they need to have quality tape. I will not use this company again read more

If you want your stuff stolen with no chance of retrieval, bring it to 1700 e flamingo, Cubesmart. 1/3 of my unit sltolen. They don't call police when it happens or even file a police report. They told me I had to go to court and get a subpoena to be able to see the only video they have at the gate. They don't call police I imagine because they don't want a record of the thievery going on there.. At my expense read more

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! This place has had many break-ins, with units being completely emptied. And conveniently not captured on their security cameras. I believe this is an inside job...you have been warned! read more

DJB, Your response said you want to "look into this further." There was a man living in a corner unit, yes living. There was lots of stuff spilling out of his unit. He told someone it was the stolen stuff he was selling. I claimed responsibility for the damage, and offered to pay. But never heard back until I saw they filed charges. Great way to treat customers!!! They ransacked my unit and stole: 2 laptops Sterling silver flatware A box of sterling silver Christmas ornaments A box of travel necessities with some foreign currency A box with 2 Nikons and camera accessories A box with migraine prescriptions I have a witness to the discovery of the theft. How do you propose making me whole? read more

I don't often leave bad reviews but one comes to CubeSmart storage on flamingo. They raise their prices at their convenience they raise my price 20% last month and then 10% six months ago I think they have you because it's such a pain in the ass to move I'm just trying to call to prevent anybody from putting their stuff in cube smart on flamingo the managers are unprofessional and rude and they think they have you by the balls so if you're on again, choose a different storage facility, there is no difference in any of them only with our control, so please, I beg you do not do business with CubeSmart as a whole They are criminal. read more

Terrible protection for your property. Unit was broken in to. They mentioned that it happens often. They don't report it to the police. Do NOT spend your money there. My other review wasn't posted. Terrible company. read more

I was looking for bigger storage than the one I had at extra space storage, so I shopped around for nearby storage units that are high quality, but not so expensive. I found this place after looking at different places prices online. I came to check out the storage units to see which size was good for me and Eric helped me out a lot. He was very friendly and helpful. The storage units look very nice and a lot better than the ones at extra storage. They have metal walls with a light up top. My previous storage unit had unfinished wooden walls that was overpriced. This is a good place to store your stuff at. It's also hidden in plain sight which means less people are likely to try breaking in since its not noticeable. read more

I have been a customer on and off now for a couple years. The location is easy to find and very central spring valley. They offer many sizes of storage units that are climate controlled with reasonable prices. Kris in the office is awesome to deal with too. read more

This place is very clean and secure during my time. The storage room is very tall, more space! I only met with Angie during the move in and out date. She was amazing, cheerful, helpful and reasonable. Paid my monthly rental online, easy. Would recommend and would come back here if I need storage again! read more

CubeSmart Self Storage - My 5x5 storage - Self Storage Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Hats off to Eric, the manager at CubeSmart West Flamingo location. If you want top notch customer service, you have come to the right place. It was truly a pleasant experience renting a unit here with Eric! read more

Rented for almost 2 years and cost doubled in that period - poor response when calling office and rarely staffed during posted hours. Noticed rat problem and complained but little action taken. Pulled out in disgust but got no reimbursement- this operation should be avoided if one cares about responsible management ! read more

At the time we rented a storage space for our Truck, Camper and attached Enclosed Trailer, it was with Storage West on Ann Road in Las Vegas, Nevada. We were impressed with Storage West because it was well staffed to provide regular daily patrolling of the facility and rented spaces. After Storage West was purchased by CubeSmart, the storage space rental cost was increased significantly, but we assumed everything else would remain relatively the same as under Storage West. We have since found out that is not the case. On January 29, 2024, the police showed up at our home to inform us that our Truck was found up Lee Canyon abandon and partially stripped. Our Camper and Enclosed Trailer were not with the Truck. We had checked on our property at the facility on January 4th and have since learned that it was not at the facility on January 9th. When we went to CubeSmart to review the cameras footage, we were informed that CubeSmart only keeps camera video for two weeks, which is considerable less time than Storage West. We also discovered at that time, that CubeSmart had cut their staff down to one person manning the whole facility at a time, making it impossible to patrol the facility and manage the office too. This reduction of staff to one person eliminates any consistent patrol or monitoring of the property and vehicles. CubeSmart failed to inform us, as their customers of these "Cutbacks" and the limits to the security of the facility that differs from Storage West. read more

This was my first time ever using a storage unit. I did everything online and didn't even need to speak to anyone in person, but I stopped in the front office on my move-in day. The staff was super helpful in answering my questions. The unit was easy to find, clean, and there was a bag inside with the lock and additional information. I needed the unit for less than a month and move out was equally as easy. I will definitely be back if I ever need storage again the future! Thanks CubeSmart!!! read more

CubeSmart is no different from any other storage location. All of them lure you in with an initial low rate then raise those rates yearly in hopes you will pay their "ransom" rather than bother with moving. I moved from Storage One to CubeSmart on west Centennial in 2019 for the low rate of $129 per month for a 10x10 unit. Before the first year was up they raised my rent to $151. It has been about a year since and I just received another increase to $181 per month. I called to complain and was told this is their business model. I'm not going to play these games any more and will store my things in my spare garage until the next neighborhood yard sale. read more

Great storage facility on the west side. Everything was clean and safe, but the real great thing about this storage facility is the staff. What a wonderful staff they have here! Every interaction, from securing a unit, to random questions to move out was above and beyond. Eric, Aaron and Kris are amazing at what they do, they are the type of front line employees that are kind, professional and knowledgeable. No hassles. No weird up charges. No attitudes. Just straight forward stellar service. HIGHLY recommended storing your things here. We were wowed. Thank you! read more

My fiancé and I just moved back to Las Vegas and needed a small storage unit to store some boxes and small furniture. This CubeSmart location was offering the 1st month for free, so we decided to give it a shot. The Manager Eric was so friendly and helpful, as was the gentleman who checked us in and set up the unit for us. Eric walked us the unit himself to make sure we'd find it. They explained the terms of the rental to us, as well as all information about the facility. Definitely 5 stars!!! read more

Great storage units, even better customer service! There are storage facilities all over Las Vegas BUT this stands head and shoulders above the rest. Great location, clean and secure. Kris and Eric give amazing customer service; accommodating, patient, and caring. I feel more like family than someone who just keeps 'stuff' there. I don't even live close by, but there's no where else I'd go. read more

Super bumbed they upped my rent to $95 they started upping it every month. My Fiance storage unit in California is cheaper and double the size. There is nothing special about this place that they need to charge twice as much as all the other places for the same thing in the area. read more
