As soon as I walked in I commented on the smell of the office which smelled really good from the candle they burned. Immediately I was greeted by two staff members (LT and the onsite manager) who were very upbeat and personable. The office was clean, the grounds were clean, the unit was really nice, AND I got a good deal. I am super big on customer service so even if a product is nice or your venue is nice, if you have bad staff I will not waste my time and will let everyone know...but these guys...awesome! Oh and I forgot to mention...on the way out I was offered a cup of Keurig coffee...(sometimes it's small things like this that get unnoticed or underappreciated) I am so glad I decided to rent here. I have discovered several items were missing from my storage unit (TVs, boots, a kitchen aid mixer, a blue tooth speaker.) There was no signs of a break in. My lock was in tact. I have given no one access to my storage unit. I made a police report. I asked the man that works at the front desk for an insurance claim. I've messaged SOA on their website and have called several times. I never received a call back or an email. When I went to the storage place I was told I need to talk to the manager, who is conveniently never there. I was also told they could not give me a number to call the manager. There is a paper with info about the Tenant Protection Plan and the cost, but no contact information is on it at all. I am highly upset and feel like they could care less about my claim or items that are missing and I think the Tenant Protection plan they offer but claim is through another company is bogus. I'm also convinced that an employee is responsible for the theft of my items. especially since there was no signs of the lock being broken in. The tops of the unit are only covered by netting. I'm not sure how someone got onto my unit, but they did.

I have lost items that can never be replaced. I have Lupus (SLE) and the last thing I need to bring into my home is rat urine and/or feces. Please do not store your belongings in this facility. The guy who came out to take the truck from us was super friendly and genuinely helpful. He made the whole process easy, which was appreciated after a long move. This seems like a bigger, busier location, but even during peak hours we did not have to wait at all. Best of all, there were no weird extra charges or surprise fees afterward. The return was quick, simple, and completely hassle-free. I would definitely use this location again.

When I went into this business I asked what their specials were and they said if you pay for 3 months, you get a month for free. I paid my 3 months and moved all of our things in. FIRST ISSUE: During the move-in I noticed the gate was broken and was in the up position. I stopped in and asked when that would be fixed and they said it would take a week for it to be fixed. A month later it was still broken,as the owner doesn't want to put the money in to fix it correctly. SECOND ISSUE: I work away from home, so during the last month of my first three months I paid and the month I got for free, I receive a letter saying my unit is going to eviction status for lack of payment. I called the manager and she said the lady that made the offer no longer worked for them and that they wouldn't honor the offer. Even though it was on my contract I had to argue with her that wasn't my problem and after going back and forth she finally gave me that month for free but couldn't do it right then because the owner was standing right there and didn't want to honor the offer. She had to go behind the owner's back to credit me the month storage. THIRD ISSUE: I asked them what deal they would make me if I paid a years worth of storage upfront and they said I would receive nothing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?? FOURTH ISSUE: A 10x20 unit they charge me $133.00 per month. This is the highest rental rate in the Montgomery County. FIFTH ISSUE: I went in last week and asked them when my rental needs paid as I have been paying 3 months at a time, they said I wouldn't need to pay for another month. I asked if I moved my things out if they would credit my card back the money I have already paid them in advance. They said they wouldn't. I asked if that policy was in my contract and they said it wasn't. I asked how they can then enforce that policy and they said tough, deal with it. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. THE OWNER DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS AND RIPS OFF HER CUSTOMERS.SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF!!. SIXTH ISSUE: The gate out front got fixed last week, 5 months later. The record on video but don't check them until the next day if at all,so plenty of time for someone to walk right in a bolt cut your lock and steal your possessions. I went to B and H storage in Clayton and the offered me (2) 10 x 15 units for 131.00 a month together. That's 100 sq. ft. more than the one unit at Englewood Storage and less money, or the offered me a 10x40 unit for 137.00 a month. These units are brand new looking and the gate works all the time. The facility is very clean - units, hallways, all of it. Staff (Dominique) was very pleasant and helpful - she addressed all of my concerns and made our move-in easy. Carts were clean, in great shape, and plenty available. I'm impressed with the facility's use of technology - I completed all of my check-in, paperwork, and payment on my smart phone a few hours before we arrived. The mobile app is great for remembering access hours and codes. Very pleased with our choice to store items here - highly recommend!

I needed a box without any packaging in it as the bat was damaged anyway. They wanted to charge me $42. That was for the box itself, putting the bat in the box, and taping it all up. That's absolutely unbelievable. I left and went to the location in Huber next to Marshalls. They charged me $12 for the same thing.
