I am what you call an avid cigar smoker. I don't live in LA but Was there for a visit and decided to explore what this cigar shop is all about!...bought 4 of their cigars each between $35-$40. At first I was kind of surprised by the prices of the offered stogies and these were the cheapest sticks I could find in their store. They have cigars much more expensive. However, I decided to give it a shot. I have smoked two of those cigars, one of them called Latte Lancero and the other one Pyramid Ultimo. I must admit they both exceeded my expectation. I'm all about small business and paying extra for the local economy. I recently went into the store to buy a tin of Romeos. I typically pay between 18-22$ retail. this store wanted 40$ for the exact same tin. I went around the corner to a place that sold them for 18$ plus tax. I feel after looking at their prices of cigars that were not in the orginal boxes but displayed in non Retail boxes that this establishment is selling cigars that are way over priced and may or may not be orginal or genuine. This is clearly a highly questionable establishmen. read more

I was disappointed to discover they only sell their own brand of cigars. Since I Ubered across town to get there to find this out, I bought one against my better judgment. (Sunk cost fallacy) While appearing decently constructed, the $25 cigar I got was too green and I had to fight it to keep it lit and to keep it burning evenly. Who cares if the seeds were Cuban, or from Zimbabwe? I wouldn't have been happy if this had been an $8.00 cigar. My friends and i enjoy a cigar once in a while but are clueless as to ever to buy. We walked in Tuesday night and were greeted with a handshake and smile. I didn't get the guys name but could've been owner/manager, really cool guy. Walked us to the back and gave us a quick 101 on the store and their product. He was able to get us a cigar each to our liking. We decided to hang out and lounge so he cut it for us and turned on the stereo for us. We hooked up the Bluetooth and just had a good time. The cigars were reasonably priced and and the selection was pretty decent. There were a number of custom blends to try, but I stuck with the classic Romeo & Juliet. We basically took over the small lounge and enjoyed our cigars. Parking is tough because it's on Sunset and you can't buy any drinks here, but if you want to grab a cigar and chill with your friends for a while this is a great place to do it. This place epitomizes what a cigar shop is to me, a nice relaxing time smoking a cigar with cool people. Every time I've been there, I've met some nice cigar smokers. I even saw Leonardo DiCaprio walk in and buy some sticks one time (he's tall, by the way). He made small talk with the staff and some customers. The cigar selection is small to medium sized, but it is very adequate to find a good smoke. They have a large selection of cigars blended and rolled just for them. The staff working there know that cigar smoking is about socialization and relaxation. They're going to treat you right and make you fell welcome. They've got sports games on so you can light up and kick back in one of their leather seats. There's room for about 10 people to sit down. Watch where you park! I personally drive long distance for his favorable cigars that I consider like trying fine wines. There a pureness in the tobacco quality that doesn't leave you feeing ill after smoking. Among the 14 leather chairs you can be easily be sitting next high profile creative types to the common man on the street. No matter what your stature Laith the owner is very knowledgeable and goes out of his was to make you feel welcome. Whether you are a novice smoker or a season veteran every one here is treated with amazing customer service and respect.. Though the shop is small you can still disappear amongst the comfortable brown leather chairs in a crowded shop. The atmosphere is comfortable and the cigars to match. I've seen this place for over a year now so I stopped by here on my way into Century City and I had a little time to kill. I wasn't too amazed at what they had, but what makes this place unique is that they make their own cigars, which is pretty sweet. What I didn't like what all the employees were lookin at me funny and didn't really help me unless I asked them for some help. They have a seemingly small shop and it's very dark which I usually like a little light in the store to show what they have to offer. I will say that it smelled nice and sweet in there. The whole place was like a humidor. They had a good selection f cigars, but I didn't know any of them; and just because they're called "Cuban Seed" doesn't make them any more cuban than the other cigars from Nicaragua, Honduras, or Mexico, because all of those ARE cuban seed as well. I am a fanatical follower of Cuban Seed Cigar Company. It's no secret that I crave Cuban Seed's cigars almost every time I look at their pictures on Instagram. It's cigar porn to me. Cuban Seed (CS) has some of the best blends and mixes of cigars that I've ever tried. Whenever I'm in that side of town, I always make it a point to stop by CS and drop some serious dough to make sure I have enough for my fix, so I'm well stocked before I have to get more. Their cigars are modeled after actual Cuban blends that are out there. Although they are house blend cigars, and believe me, you would catch me dead before I buy house blends elsewhere, CS has a mastery when it comes to creating their cigars I wouldn't think twice about spending the money I do on them. Their cigars scream quality all the way around, especially with their construction and oils on the cigar. My favorite blends so far have to be the Partagas D-4s, Romeo Stout, H. Upmann Sir Winston, and their Behike. Try a few and you'll instantly be hooked and see the light! In my experience a few of the cigars can be a bit spicy at first at the foot, but once you pass through a few puffs, the flavors should really mix well and create a creamy smooth (but not sweet) smoke. My fellow cigar acolytes and I just purchased a bunch of Monte 520, so I can't wait to try it! Oh, and I got a Bolivar for myself. I just could not resist. Disclaimer: These are named after their counter-part Cuban blends. CS carry cigars that are Cuban seed, but are grown and manufactured outside of Cuban. The flavors will be close, but not quite identical for that reason. read more
