I never understand why there's a phone number listed and nobody answers the phone. Hell I'm trying to buy a pound of tobacco but yet I'm going to have to go 20 or 30 miles down the road because somebody can't answer the phone and tell me yes or no. read more

A must-stop when I am in LA. Joey's is like a beautiful, complex woman or car: either you "get it," or you "don't get it." Joey's is a place to be yourself: social or private, dynamic or static, happy or sad. Joey is the Emcee, but the cigars are the stars in this intimate ambiance. Sometimes I want a pricey smoke, sometimes I am a cheapie. Last time I was there I was feeling frugal and Joey procured for me some killer sticks in the affordable range. No fuss, no muss, and always great, interesting people and rare selections. You never know who will stop in! read more

An amazing place, very nice people. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. All the people sitting and smoking a cigar said hello as I walked in. They all looked like they where having a great time laughing and smiling. The owner Joe assisted me right away. I will for sure go again. Had a very good experience. Good prices and great service. So happy I found this place. read more

Not really sure what others have experienced, but mine was quite different from what I am reading here. I am a long time cigar smoker and fairly knowledgeable about the subject. I wandered into this store on a week day afternoon looking for a brief respite with a good stick. As I began to browse the humidor's contents, I was approached by the owner and asked to leave. I was told this was a private establishment, for members only, and the members would not like it if he sold me a cigar. So, I left, never to return. I don't really understand how this business survives. read more

As I walked in the owner greated me right away and was asking me if I had any questions. I asked for a recommendation for a Maduro. He pointed out a new cigar that I haven't tried yet. Lounge looked good. Humidor has great selection. Prices are great. Will be definitely coming back here again. Thanks for great first experience read more

Very friendly shop, from the owner Joey to all the regulars. Walked up to the door and the owner came out and said it was a private club. I had no choice but to leave. How is this place a shop?

This is the Cheers of cigar shops... a place where everyone knows your name. Joey is not only an expert in the world of cigars, he is also a fantastic host and truly knows what it is that you are looking for when you step into his shop.
