I only did a DoorDash delivery but had to write a review because it deserved 5 stars. The taste is robustly flavorful and I can definitely see myself ordering from this place again.

Authentic, tasty and the biggest challenge faced here is what to order. SO many wonderful dishes. Prices are reasonable and the dining area is comfortable . Staff were friendly. Coffee was excellent. The Cuban sandwich was tasty and packed with flavor. We split two of their pastries that were light and a perfect end to a great meal.

The Best Cuban Sandwich

As a person who grew up on La Pola Cuban sandwiches from West New York in Hudson County, this is an awesome alternative. I can't say if it's better because it's been years since I've been there, and I just found out it has since closed. So for today (National Cuban Sandwich Day, August 23rd), I went on a mission to get it near me. This place did not disappoint, and I'm so happy I discovered them! The sandwich is $10 each, and for dinner later, I got the Ropa Vieja. They gave me a very nice portion, which can easily be for two people, at $15, you can't go wrong. The ambiance is very neighborly, authentic, and the ladies behind the counter were attentive, fast, and the place looked clean, even where the food is, which is great. Sometimes Latin restaurants can look like they cook with a whole lot of grease, but I can attest this place is definitely not one of them, which is great. Overall, I can assure I will definitely be coming back to get some of that house cooking I sometimes miss from home.

Rabo Encendido (Cuban Oxtail)

Liked this place and their service a lot! Came here to try the food and it felt like home when I walked in. The woman behind the counter was nice and polite to me as I clearly didn't understand how to order, even though there were people behind me. When she told me to-go orders are taken at the hot bar I headed there and the man behind the hot bar was so nice. He explained what may go well with what, even though I had an idea of what I wanted. I got pork with plantains and mashed yuca then another one was the oxtail which was BOMB with some peas and rice and plantain. Both meats were so tender and fell off the bone. The plantains where sweet and tasty, and the yucca was good, I never had it mashed so that was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend and would come again.

Food was amazing. Authentic Cuban cuisine packed with flavor in every bite. It was so good I had to take some home with me. Excellent customer service, the staff was extremely warm and inviting. Very cozy and clean establishment. I would totally recommend them to others and can't wait to come back again!

Chunks of meat called "ropa vieja" at this restaurant. Called chunks of tough beef at my house.
Jennifer B.

I ordered for the very first time here tonight. It was my night off to cook, so I used a gift card I received for Christmas. The total amount was over $50. I got two orders of "ROPA VIEJA" and a side order of boiled yucca. The ropa vieja was tough and not shredded like ropa vieja usually is. I had to cook my mom a different meal because of this- so much for a night off of cooking. When I called the restaurant, they couldn't find a manager, I guess, but the lady told me to call tomorrow because she couldn't find the cook. She mentioned the cook was new, which doesn't surprise me. What a sad representation of ropa vieja which is usually so thinly shredded that it melts in your mouth. Not this meat- it was hard and there wasn't much sauce. It looks NOTHING like the pictures. Worse part is I ordered two dinners of this. I will NEVER order from here again, and I want a manager to come eat this food. If I wasn't twenty minutes away, I would bring them this meal and let them work through the tough hard meat and let me know if this is how they want their restaurant to be remembered. It's a CUBAN cafe- the seasoning wasn't even Cuban-style and it's supposed to cook Cuban food with expertise. I am very annoyed and hungry because I threw it out. One other thing - On Yelp, it even says they substituted the meat for ropa vieja one day when they ran out. I believe this is probably the case here. DO BETTER!!!!!!! You guys should've canceled the order rather than give me subpar rendition of this dish. P.S. the frozen veggies are terrible....like school carrots.... And I tried calling before I made these reviews. I find it hard to believe there was absolutely no one that could get on phone w me to discuss this.

My only note is they didn't add any butter to my toast, something I usually expect when I order breakfast plates. My family and I have been supporting the Martino's Cuban Restaurant family restaurants for years,…read moregoing back to the original Martino's from his dad's side (which we truly miss). So coming here carries a bit of nostalgia for us. This concept feels very different from the original. It's definitely a more modern, upscale take. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the menu feels more elevated with a mix of Cuban-inspired and American flavors rather than strictly traditional Cuban comfort food. That said, the food is genuinely very good. The Cuban sandwich was easily one of the best we've had in New Jersey. Unlike many places that mostly use ham with a thin layer of pork, this one had thick, flavorful pieces of pork that made it feel much more authentic. A few other favorites: - The tostones with guacamole were a great starter. - Their chocolate latte used to be one of our favorites (sadly it seems to have been replaced by a raspberry chocolate version, which wasn't for us). - The seasonal pumpkin iced latte was excellent. - The strawberry banana waffles were more than enough to share. - The scrambled eggs and thick-cut bacon were fresh and delicious. We spent about $140 for breakfast for a family of four, so it's definitely on the pricier side, but it felt fitting for a special occasion like Mother's Day. A heads-up: reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more, so smaller groups are first come, first served. On Mother's Day, we waited about an hour after arriving at 8:30 AM, but their digital waitlist system made it easy to track our place in line while running errands nearby. Do we miss the old Martino's? Absolutely. The larger portions and casual family feel were special to us. But this restaurant offers something different--more polished, more curated, and still very enjoyable. I'd recommend it for brunch dates, family celebrations, or when you want to treat yourself.

What really stood out to me was the presentation. The plating is decorative and gives upscale, fine dining vibes, which makes the whole brunch feel elevated rather than just casual. The service was also excellent--our server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I also liked that they offer mocktails and allow BYOB for alcohol, which gives you flexibility depending on your preference. Now, just to be real--this place is popular, so expect a wait. It can get crowded and a bit tight inside, especially during peak brunch hours. Parking is also something to plan for since there's limited space (the lot only fits about four cars), so you'll likely need to find street parking. Overall, I definitely recommend Blossom Brunch. The food, vibe, and service are all on point. Honestly, they're doing so well that I hope they expand soon--it's clearly a spot that's in demand and could benefit from more space.

It is a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and cute simple decor that has a communal feel. The specials menu had some fun and exciting choices for st Patrick's day! There was also a listing for blueberry pierogies which we decided we just had to try. I think the concept is exciting and new- but the inside of the pierogies were only blueberries which weren't very sweet. We thought it could be even better with the addition of a sweetened ricotta, cream cheese, or mascarpone inside to compliment the berries. There was a drizzle of some kind of icing which was tasty and went well but there wasn't enough of it. We ordered our meals from their regular menu. They must have polish roots because pierogies and kielbasa show up on the menu a few times. I saw "pierogie omelet" and was sold. You can tell their pierogies are freshly made and it makes all the difference.
