Been an institution in our family for over 40 years. This has been a stop on our way to 'camp' every weekend. First stop the grocery store and then here. They are friendly, great service, awesome prices. Great selection of foods.

Cuba Cheese Shop is always a fun place to visit for a day trip. They have nearly every variety of cheese imaginable along with other wonderful goodies like jams, jellies, breads, and pickles. They are famous for their cheese curds which are addictive. Make sure you buy one pack to share on the ride home! Also, don't forget your cooler if you live far away.

listen guys the curds are where it's at - buffalo and garlic pepper very good. steer clear of those crazy bleu cheese stuffed olives as they are not your traditional bc olives. these are soaking in a vinegar brine (no warning on jar) and have a waxy consistency and kind of taste like rotten play dough. anyways all other cheese is good in my experience and i love cuba cheese shoppe hehehehe

This place is a cheese lovers paradise; with many other speciality items as well. Not a long drive from the Buffalo area, the town is one of the smaller ones but quaint. I was blown away, and I'm sure my mom would have been as well with over 400 different cheeses to choose from. Both of our favorites were the port wine cheese spread and a few others. The store variety was rather extensive in jellies, fudge, crackers, honey, candy, car charms, summer sausage. Overall did pick a few things up, port wine cheese spread, yogurt pretzels, Colby thick brick of cheese, fudge and lemon ginger snaps. Loved the artwork on outside of cows, made me feel more Country and on an adventure. Staff were pleasent, and they even had two different cheese samples. If your visiting from out of town, or live in the area its worth the drive and stop. Look forward to visiting again

I have been coming to this place for almost 40 years and it never disappoints. The inventory is ever expanding as is the physical footprint. All kinds of assorted cheeses and cheese spreads, condiments and spices, snacks and merchandise. A bit pricey, but all in all a good value for the quality that you get. Situated in a historic town, the Cuba cheese shop is a destination in and of itself.

Mmmm cheese! Every single kind of cheese they make is amazing :) their curds are my favorite because they have more of a salt hint than sweet. Nice squeak...if you're not a cheese curd connoisseur that will make sense to you *dies laughing* They also have a great selection of local jam, salsa, hot sauce, honey, maple syrup... Check it out!

Wonderful place!!! Whenever I am in the area visiting family, I stop by and pick up several items. This time, I really got carried away! I bought a couple aged cheddars, pepperoni, crackers, two jellies, hard candies, chocolates, and salt rising bread! Everything tastes delicious!!

Great little road trip stop, they had so many cheeses from all over! And other things too like sauces and candy. Friendly service too.

Our favorite was the aged mountain-style, very cheddar-like in sharpness, but maybe a little more creamy than it would be in a similar cheddar. It's about an hour drive from Rochester. There is a gravel parking lot, and you enter through the store (where you can buy cheese and other fun snacks). There is a stairwell or an elevator to get up to the second floor where the wedding was held. Props to whoever designed this place for adding multiple restrooms, which were decorated with cute cow decor and stocked with mouthwash, feminine hygiene products, mints, etc. The food was excellent. Cocktail hour included a spread of fruit, crackers, and many delicious cheeses that were more exciting than the normal cheddar cubes on an appetizer tray. For dinner, salad, pizza, and cauliflower wings were served with lots of sauces and toppings. Dessert was a make your own ice cream sundae bar. Old Souls Catering was responsible for all of the deliciousness. There were two levels of the reception space, and the ceremony and dinner were held in the higher area. The lower area was the bar/cocktail area and dance floor. It was a bit awkward going up and down the stairs every time a new part of the event took place (I have a sprained ankle). There is a wheelchair lift to move between the sections but I wasn't going to get a staff member to do that for me ten times with everyone watching. Overall, this was a unique venue and even had a cheese vending machine outside.

Such a fun experience!…read more So many fun flavors of icecream and different cheeses! Not to mention the adorable cows!! We tried the flight of 8-- 5 icecreams and 3 cheeses. For icecream we tasted the purple cow, peach cobbler, cookies and cream, black cherry chocolate, and the coffee heath crunch. My favorite was the coffee flavor- unlike other coffee icecreams I've had, this coffee had a much more robust and richer flavor profile. I liked cookies and cram-- always a classic. The cherry flavor was a tad too artificial for my liking. Purple cow was fine- very similar to the Cornell Dairy flavor- both are good though! I liked the peach cobbler flavor though wish there were more of the mix-ins. For cheeses, we tasted the butter garlic cheddar curds, the signature Summit Cheddar, and the plain quark. The garlic cheddar curds were so good, I took a bag home with me! Summit cheddar had a nice nutty flavor, not too 'sharp' though. The quark was interesting... it had a rather mild flavor and interesting texture (similar to boursin). I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I also took home a bag of the tomato basil cheese curds which I didn't like as much as the garlic ones. The tomato ones had a very subtle flavor-- too subtle. There was a line when we got there though it moves relatively quickly and is definitely worth the wait! Overall, I had so much fun picking out so many icecreams and cheeses to taste as well as seeing the cows! I would highly recommend Shtayburne Farm!

A fourth generation dairy farm that excels in cheese and ice cream. We tried the 8 flight. 4 cheeses 4 ice creams. All were delicious. I tried the peach habernero Quark and immediately needed to buy one in the case. Its a super protein and so creamy. I can't wait to pair it with celery sticks for a nice snack. They offer a few coffee drinks as well. I ordered a caramel Americano. Next time I am in the area I will definitely come by again!
