The empanadas were seasoned perfectly and the crust was flaky and tender. The bizcocho pulled apart into flaky, warm layers. The exterior had a beautiful crunch to it and it was really perfection. I paired it with a cappuccino which was delicious with a sprinkle of cinnamon. The staff was so sweet and gracious, taking the time to explain the pastries to me in the midst of their busy morning.

My grandmother is a regular at this bakery so, of course, she tagged along. The girl behind the counter suggested getting the larger uncut, round pastries instead of the precut one. We ended up doing that and it worked out very well. I was able to cut one large pastry into 6 wedges. The pastry dough is super flaky and airy.
