4/5 I try to get all my shopping done here since it's close to home. 90% of the time they will have everything I need, but sometimes need to go out to another store to look for items that Cub Foods doesn't have. But other than that, all the workers here are always friendly and willing to help. I've never had a problem with anything I've bought here and I'm happy with the quality I get. Close to home (or on the way home from work). Most of the time I shop at a different place but this is convenient if I need something from another store along this route - Walgreen's for example, or if I need to pick up an Amazon delivery in the Amazon locker located inside Cub. Cub is 24 hours. Prices are fairly competitive, though a Cub loyalty card is free and worth the time it takes to register. read more

I have been a Cub Foods customer for a VERY long time. Today, when I decided to check out around 9PM(July 13th), there was a Caucasian customer in front of me. Cashier (Vicki K) wiped the surface for her, greeted her, handed her the receipt etc. The cashier said hi to me,and after she heard my accent, she did not wipe the surface for me and when I paid, she put my receipt on the belt with my groceries and motioned me to collect it from there. I decided to stay there a bit longer to see if that was Cub Foods standard practice. Before taking another customer(a Caucasian couple), she wiped the surface again after me, handed one piece of paper to the lady and then the receipt to the gentleman. I really did not like the discriminatory behavior (no surface wiped and receipt was not handed to JUST me, but was ok. to hand it to others?). Having an accent does not mean that I carry more germs than any other ethnicity. I am very irate and would like to know what actions Cub Foods management is going to take.This Cub Foods is located near a very large Indian community, that I belong to, and I would certainly not want any of my community members to go through the discrimination I experienced at this location today. I tried to contact the Cub Foods directly through their customer service online, First it would not let me enter the date in the date field and kept telling me that the "text could not be converted to date format" and not giving any help what format it should be. I decided to not put date anymore after several attempts (included in my comments instead), the it refused to accept my phone number. I frequent this location for several reasons. Number one is the store is always clean, well-stocked, and fresh. Number two is that it's a Minnesota company (Supervalu). Number 3 is their fantastic rewards program. Number 4 is they offer free cookies to kids (they keep them in their donut case. Number 5 is that they just added a meat counter and it looks awesome. Number 6 is that they have little carts so the kids can learn responsibility. Plus, if they return the cart they will get a treat by the self-check lanes. Number 7 is they carry some of my husbands favorite products previously not found anywhere we've gone besides his home state of New Mexico. I would have given this store five stars but a few of my favorite products are no longer carried so I have to make special trips to other stores just to get them. read more

I was craving donuts, so I picked up a couple of the boston cream filled chocolate covered ones. I was so disappointed in the lack of filling! It was as if there was no filling. About a month ago I was at your store in Savage and Casey Gardner helped me thru the self-checkout as I only had salt tablets to buy. About 45 minutes after I left the store I noticed I had left my AX card there. Went back and Casey was glad to see me as she had put my card in the safe. She was so sincere and helpful and I was so relieved to get my card back. You ar4e so lucky to have such a honest and sincere team member working for you. read more

This store is clean but I find that most of the employees are unpleasant and the location is horrible. The parking lot not only consists of Cub Foods but also many shops and restaurants and only ONE exit! I can't count the many times I and other family and friends were nearly hit. The backup on Connelly can be annoying with people blocking trying to get out of Super America. There are three ways into this area, they clearly need another exit. The people that built it this way didn't know what they were doing. I miss Rainbow! read more

I love Cub in Savage, MN. Clean, well displayed and well stocked items. I have found the staff to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. My husband and I do a lot of unusual dishes and Cub doesn't let me down with good cuts of meat. They have super low fat hamburger which is a very good feeling to feed to our family and guests. The butchers are great at getting specialty cuts and sizes of meat. The fresh frozen Canadian Walleye and Louisiana wild caught shrimp are a real advantage in MN. The organic section is larger every time I am in the store. The pricing is very competitive and the open 24 hours is totally catered to anyone's schedule. The fact they support local groups, charities and the Minnesota Gophers all show their roots here in Minnesota. I like to support those companies that support Minnesotans. Go Cub! read more

Absolutely awful general manager. Do not even bother asking him for any assistance with a problem. He doesn't get it.

Absolutely horrible! Customer service is non existent and store manager is a jerk who cannot be bothered. I miss Rainbow! Anxious to try Thyme for the first time. I will shop at Target for my groceries or Lund's and pay more rather than shop at C.U.B. (Consumers United Buying) Foods. Their prices are quite high on most things...one wouldn't expect that. They've become too big for their britches. I comparison shopped once and bought identical items from Target and Cub...just out of curiosity. All the same size and brands and it was a total of 11 items from various departments...meat, produce, grocery, frozen, general mdse., and dairy. I ended up paying $10.87 MORE at C.U.B. than I did at Target. None of the items were on sale and no coupons were used. One exit makes it impossible to get out. With that you have to go across a side street, turn left and then turn to get on 13. Why, with that size of a shopping center, would they only have one exit? It is ridiculous! No thanks. I cannot afford to shop there on social security. Lund's is not that much higher and so much more pleasant! read more
