I stopped at this Cub to grab some snacks on the way to a gathering. This location felt smaller than the ones in Bloomington but they pretty much have all the same offerings as far as deli, bakery, etc. I seen that they had a section of halal candy which is cool as far as inclusion. The donuts are exceptional here. Better than the other Cub Foods in the area. And even tastier than most of the fancy, dedicated bakery/donut shops. As of 2023, you can get 6 donuts for $6, or you can pay $1.25 per donut. As for the grocery store itself, it works fine. Not amazing, but solid nonetheless. read more

I was looking for non dairy food options. I walked the entire store searching and nothing. So I went to customer service to ask the lady with heavy eye make up and she says you'll have to go back there and look. Umm hello silly. That's why I'm asking you miss customer service desk rep. She says oh. Calls the guy and basically the stuff is spread apart. There's no designated section like cub in Bloomington or heck any other cub. Honestly, this has to be the top 3 worst Cubs in the metro. But yet it is in a pretty good suburb. I will start with the meat department. This is a truly self serve meat department. I have shopped here over 6 times asking them to break down large packages. Or to get something out of the case. And the meat rep would be like nope we have it pre package right over there. I have worked in a full service meat department and if I got caught treating any customer like this my ... would of been fired. I do not like there meat department. The hot deli I have had issues with. The produce has been beat up or actually frozen and then thawed but they still put it out hoping to sell it to you. The shelves are never stocked with the proper items they will have replacements. I will say this, there is a Spanish gentleman in the frozen department that has always been kind. Other then that. Bad experience. Shopped Eden Prairie Cub instead of EP Lunds tonight. Big Mistake. Shelves well stocked.. But, No help in deli or hot food, people there, but no help... Brought cart to front only 1 register open, line too long. Tried self check out, kept stopping because I was bagging too fast. No self check out problems at Walmart stores just CUB. Cub thinks all customers are stealing. Asked to clear error. Woman was rude.. Prices high. For the money prefer Lunds, real cashiers and baggars. Walmart for everyday items, about 40% less on many items. Occasionally shop Cub Chanhassen, no problems prices on higher side but store good. We have groceries delivered via Instacart. Cub has a decent selection of vegetarian and Keto hence our loyalty. Cub is very expensive in comparison to other stores on the Instacart list. If we are looking for our staples we avoid Cub due to the cost. read more

Nothing special, but its a lot better than Rainbow foods down the street. They did make some minor upgrades to this location in 2009 I believe, but it is still quite an old store and it does show. The checkout line is usually quick and efficient, that is the main reason I come back here. They do have a decent produce and fresh meat area. I just got a Chicken Ceasar wrap at the Deli and it was dryer than a dessert. The wrap was chicken, cheese, lettuce, a few red peppers a d a very dry wrap. They need to put a little dressing to add something for some flavor to the wrap. The flavors we're very good just very dry. I don't usually buy these sandwiches; but I was in a bind for time today. I gave this Cub Foods only one star because of seriously poor customer service. When I lived in Minnesota, Cubs Foods was my go to grocery store, I now live in Florida and was back in Minnesota last week. I was seriously disappointed in how employees acted toward customers. My wife and I visited this cub Foods on Saturday the 30th of June, we wanted to buy some Salmond fillets to cook for my parents. There was no one at the counter in the meat department and we had to hit the little call button. After about 3 minutes of waiting, two employees that work in the meat department walked out of the back, then around the counter and kept on going, leaving us both standing there wondering what the heck was going on. Finally someone came to help us and we went up to the check out. As we walked up to the cashier I said to her "hi, how are you doing?" She just stared at me and started checking out the groceries. So I asked her "did you hear what I asked you?" She looked up at me as if I had just spoken in another language. "I asked how you are doing?" Her answer was "Fine" and then proceeded to check out the rest of the items. We got all checked out and paid our bill with no thank yo, have a good day, or anything. My wife had to use the restroom so I stood by the exit door while I waited. I thought that maybe the cashier was just having a bad day and gave her the benefit of doubt, but when the check out manager walked by me, looking right at me, I decided to say hi and ask how she was doing, she just walked right on by without a word. Ok now four people in this store do not care anything about customer service and communication for that matter. These four people were not of any foreign descent, so there was no apparent communication barrier. My wife and I both work in healthcare where customer satisfaction is paramount to getting paid, if its poor, everyone loses ultimately. You could have the greatest grocery chain in the entire world but if your customer service is horrible it will undoubtedly fail quickly. This is not an experience I ever expected to see from Cub Foods and I am seriously disappointed and will not visit this store again. read more

Salad Bar! We go here 3 times a week for salad at around 2.99 a lb you cant go wrong. Fresh everything but the selection can be limited. It is a basic salad bar but it is affordable and fresh. It is a clean location with a good selection of Organic products also. read more

I grew up going to Cub with my Dad on Saturday mornings, because I was an early riser and he always let me pick out my own donut (a big deal being the youngest of 4.) Well, lucky for me I married a man who also loves Cub donuts and so we are committed Cub shoppers. This Cub location isn't my favorite in the Twin Cities, but it is near to our house and again, the donuts! I would say 3 stars for the location/store/customer service and 5 stars for the donuts (one of the few Cub locations that has chocolate glazed raised donuts with coconut!) Don't waste your time on the expensive places, this $0.75 wonder is where its at. read more

Check your receipt. . . Many times the price posted in the aisles is not the price you are charged at the checkout. Of course it is in Cubs favor and they charge more than the advertised price. Cub has a big selection of meats, processed, canned and frozen foods, but really lacks in the fresh produce and healthy food selections. read more

A particular check-out staff member, a woman with non-traditional clothing, appeared very dirty and smelled horrible... not what you expect at a grocery store, where apparent cleanliness should be highly valued. Came in with a code couple weeks ago and the staff at the pharmacy were great. I didn't have a long line, the pharmacist helped me out right away and the cheapest option. This is where we shop when we don't have time to drive to a high end grocery and/or we only need a few staples for our house. The selection is decent and the prices are ok. I have never been that impressed with the produce section (but I am sort of picky with my produce), but I can always seem to find a helpful employee to search for hearts of palm or a random spice. I was at the Eden Prairie MN CUB store yesterday... bought $11.00 worth of fresh fish... it was so smelly by the time I arrived home I needed to cook it immediately... too much fresh fish in your counter and not being sold daily... better choices some where else. My experience with the check out person... was not very friendly.. I should have used the self check out.... I am from Chanhassen and have had the same experience there... have other choices in the area from now on..... I really wish there was an Aldi in the area..... prices are good and friendly staff.. no frills read more
