Not my favorite walmart location but when i'm in the area and need to grab a few items, I can usually find them here. I don't like that Walmart has moved to dynamic pricing. No walmart is organized enough for this, Especially the clothing. They also removed price scanners which would help because now the lines are backing up with people not knowing the price or the price doesn't even match where they picked the item from. A big mess. The parking at this location is almost always packed despite the store not feeling as packed. This store does feel a bit smaller with the layout feeling a bit more cramped but like I said it's nice when you just need a few items. read more

This is the 2nd time I've been kicked out for having my service dog with me. This time they told me my 12lb dog couldn't be in the cart. The managers at this store needs to look into this. I have used Wal-Mart delivery for two years and would have issues once in a while. I would call or chat with customer service and it was always five star. My last 4 orders have been problematic and that is an understatement. The first they didn't have 1/2 my order and tried to deliver me groceries for someone else. The second order the didn't deliver 1/2 my order. I tried to do a credit online but it referred me to customer service. I called customer service which credited the missing groceries. I asked for an additional credit because I paid a $5 delivery fee and gave a $20 tip. She said the most she could credit me was $10 which meant I was at a loss for $15 not to mention the inconvenience. I would not have placed this order if I knew 1/2 would not be delivered. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was disconnected. I had hoped they would call me back. I went online and try to do a chat and it referred me back to customer service. I have called the store and left 4 messages for the manager and have not gotten a call back. This is over a two week period so I gave them ample time. My third delivery was no big deal the bananas were brown which involve a .92 credit which normally I wouldn't even ask for but I thought they would want a record so they could prevent this from happening in the future. I was able to apply for the credit seamlessly but then it instructed me to bring them into the store for a credit. This totally defeats the purpose of delivery. My fourth delivery was today and 3/4 of my order was for 6 boxes of Yasso bars which I said no substitutions. I got the order and 5 of the 6 boxes were substitutions for a flavor I don't like and won't eat. I am pretty sure they have changed their customer service protocols recently because this would never have happened 6 months ago. I don't know what else I can do as a customer to get satisfaction except shop with a competitor and ask for a refund of my Wal-Mart plus membership. read more

It's a standard Walmart. Not much else to say there. They have everything you need and then some. Most of the stuff you need is always in stock. It's a large store with ample parking. Honestly, the worst part of this store are the strange people you run into and the terrible customer service. Today while I was trying to redeem a coupon on self checkout, a worker was trying to help me to redeem and then eventually after trying, she directed me to the customer service desk to try to redeem it. That would have been fine, but after she did that, she walked away and didn't void my checkout so I could get on with my life and out of Walmart. I didn't want the item unless the coupon was used. I stood there for a couple mins waiting for her because she had went to help another customer - but she was still working with them and weren't able to help me void my order. Not sure why she didn't void it before helping someone else - after all, she hadn't finished helping me yet ! I ended up leaving and letting them deal with voiding it since I didn't have time to wait around any longer. read more

we were looking for some colorful neon tank tops for an 80s theme parade. we found the perfect top in the perfect size. it was exactly what we were looking for! everything was going very smoothly until we encountered a problem at check out. the tank top did NOT have a tag!! so we asked the nearest worker in our vicinity and she strolled over. she was also on a zoom call while WORKING. we asked her if she knew how to fix this little problem. she was trying to help and had ME enter the code # for the item. sadly to our surprise it didn't work. so we went to find the exact same tank top in another size, BUT exact same price. while we were over getting the other tank top, she TOOK the one we wanted to purchase and take home cause it was the only one that fit. then she proceeded to go into the bathroom while on her zoom STILL. and that was the last we saw of her. luckily for us there was another sweet worker that was willing to help. his name was christopher. he found the original tank top we wanted and let us scan the other one and take home ours. christopher really did save the day! if it wasn't for christopher we wouldn't have had a good 80s theme costume. if anyone is ever in trouble go to christopher and he will get that problem fixed!!!! read more

This is about my once a year trip to a Walmart, the only pairs of pants my son will wear are found here. And they are only found during back-to-school time. And by the way, they didn't even have the pants here at this time. Sigh. We continued with some school supply shopping and some grocery shopping. We did get everything off my sons school supply list and at prices I was happy with. One of the ladies that was stocking the school supply aisle was asked by an elderly man in one of Walmart's motorized wheelchairs if she could get him a new wheelchair because it was running out of electricity. I couldn't hear what she said but he was frowning and he kept rolling away from her. Another Walmart employee a few aisles away said "it looks like your wheelchair is running out of juice" and he again asked for help with the wheelchair. But she said they only have two motorized wheelchairs and there was nothing she could do. Our cashier just seem depressed: no greeting, no smiling, no interaction. It was all about what I expected, but still so sad to see. read more

This store ALWAYS seems to be out of whatever particular item I'm looking for, whether it be a replacement bulb for my car or some other household need. They sell it, they're just always out of it for some reason. Fresh produce is old and starting to go bad. English is a second (or third, etc) language for most everyone that works here. Been here two times and each time it's been the absolute WORST experience ever. The shorts I was purchasimy were on clearance but didn't have a sticker I still scanned them a worker came over to check if I scanned them, when I assured I did she pretty much called me a liar and rescanned them. There were plenty of other people she could have worried about scanning carts full of stuff. The store is terribly stocked and not clean. Bright, clean, new store remodel a huge plus! My review on this location a few short months ago would have been completely different. With the remodel done as of Nov 2010, this location has completely changed. The grocery store inside is large and complete for almost every item I need. They have a full deli and bakery now as well. The store itself is much more spread out and inviting with bright lights and a more open floor plan, especially in the electronics department. The staff is friendly, and most of them know enough to at least point you in the right direction. The majority of the time I can find assistance if I need it, you just might have to be familiar with the locations where they usually are staffed. Overall, this is a nice Wal-mart, in a convenient location for most of Eden Prairie. read more

Don't expect much. The baby formula is locked up and I trekked around the store for about 15min straight until finding someone who had keys, and would be right over to help me get into the case. After another 5min waiting at the case, an entirely different person showed up with keys to let me access the baby formula. I figured next time I'd try doing a pick up order. However that process took even longer! You'd think if an order was ready for pickup, it'd be pulled and ready to go but apparently not. I witnessed two other cars leave the pickup area without their orders, I'm assuming due to the long wait. I'd avoid this location if you can help it. read more

If I could give no stars I would. This is by far one of the most filthy Walmart stores I have been too. Walmart is not my first choice but I will go there 2-3 times a year. 1. Never well stocked, shelves are messy 2. Employees are incompetent 3. Don't bother calling this store, I literally called 5 times in a row and got no answer. When I went to the store to ask if a bag of items had been left behind there were 3 young(er) employees standing behind the customer service counter. I called the store while standing directly in front of the phone and visibly watched my number come up on the caller ID. Not one of them answered it. There were 11 missed calls. It WOULD HELP IF YOU TURNED THE RINGER ON, or at least have the phone face the employee instead of outwards toward the customer. 4. The employee just waved her hand off at me and said go find your items that you're missing and then you are good to go. So, I did. I could have honestly walked around the store and stole expensive items but I am an honest person. I came up to the service counter again with the 5 missing items and asked if I was good to go. A different employee said, "yep, all good!" She never verified my items with my receipt. Huge loss prevention issue. She should not be in that role. 5. Rarely any human cashiers are available. This particular day I did go to a human cashier and 5 of my items were missing when I got home. So, if you are going to make me scan my own items then don't pretend to check my receipt when I'm trying to leave. I just did your damn job for free 6. Take some notes from the MARSHFIELD, WI store. Cleanest store, well stocked, employees look like they enjoy their job, they say hello to customers and oh, did I say...it's CLEAN! I have visited your Eden Prairie store about six times in the past year and each time it has not been a good experience. The staff does not seem to care and is very unapproachable. In addition, your wait time in the customer service line is consistently slow! I want to make your store my choice because of geography but I choose other options because of the very lackluster experience that is a consistent theme. Hmm. I fairly disappointed in how it's being managed. It was just remodel and I was really excited that it did. Now it comes back to square one again. They did not keep it consistence ... Unorganized, re-stocking slow, some items are dusty ... Nearly expired bakery! One time it was expired Hawaii breads ... :( Most important when I need help finding items their staff is unfriendly or doesn't seem to know where things are. Sometime I walk around I don't see the workers work; they just gather around and chit-chat. This does not look professional! Aren't there store policy? Where's customer service? I don't see it at all. Yes it's a bit cheaper in price on some items than Target, Cub food ... But if quality is not there what's the point? I go to the Eden Prairie Walmart every week and do my weekly food shopping and spend about $250.00 a week. I never really ran into any problems except today when I went food shopping. I spent about $220.00. I normally check myself out at the self checkout. Couple items did not want to scan so I ask the employee that was working there. She was rude and not really much help and another employee came by, she was even worse. Than when I was getting ready to leaves the lady that standing by the entrance ask me for my . Receipt so I gave it to her. I never felt so uncomfortable with her taken 4 min. and kept making this noise, Mm, Mm, Mm like she was trying to find something that was not on the receipt. Clean and organized. Something I typically do not expect at a Walmart. As with any big store, trying to find someone for help is a matter of luck - they are few and far between and frequently, sought after by others like you. Which is why the 4 stars in my review - I had some questions and got A++ assistance. The electronics/entertainment department was staffed by three women and a man and I was the only customer asking for help. I had a question about Straight Talk for my IPhone 5. They directed me to the right item and said I could bring it back if it was not compatible. Upon which I asked if they couldn't open it right there for me to check it out. They did and there was a nano SIM card inside. I purchased the kit right there - no waiting in line. And the East African lady who was helping me out tipped me about the beautiful henna on her hands; she said weekends were very busy for henna at the Somali mall on Pillsbury Avenue. The only other thing I needed to buy were batteries and I was searching for brands other than the expensive Duracell. The lady who had helped me with my phone kit was right behind me and walked me to the right kiosk. Since remodel in October of 2010 the store has a good selection and is more organized and cleaner. Produce selection is good as well as the frozen food section. Walmart is becoming my one first stop for most things. read more
