It seemed like after the cleaning it would be dirty again within the week. It was frustrating enough that I had been talking about replacing the carpet soon. I didn't deal with the technician when he came as my husband was the one that arranged it and towards the end of the cleaning I could hear him say "You'll want to erect a statue in my name after this..." well, not quite but he went the extra mile, went over the high traffic areas a second time and I couldn't believe it when I came out of the office...our carpet literally looked new. I was afraid it was just an illusion and the wicking would start but it never did. We did have to dry the carpet with the blower the rest of the day...which he warned us about but it was just as clean when dry. I wish I had taken a before picture. It looked similar to the some of the ones posted here. I do have an after so you can see it looks new. This is a 5 year old carpet in a home with pets, teenagers and where we eat in the livingroom often along with our kids friends. High traffic with perfectly clean carpet under the furniture. Isn't clean carpets the point? I was glad that the technician cared enough about his job to do it right and it's obvious he takes pride in his work...maybe not a statue but an unexpected Yelp review might do it. :) We're planning on using them again for our 4-plex and other areas of the home.

We got…read morea quote for carpet that would be quickly available from Home Depot with an ok pad and ok carpet and thought that was just what we were going to have to go with (even though it was kind of expensive for what we were getting) since we had a time constraint. Then our friend told us about Ward's and we got MUCH better carpet and a way better pad for less than the Home Depot quote. Our carpet was installed within two weeks (quicker than Home Depot!) and two years later we still love it! After we got our carpet installed my dad remembered that they got their carpet here too, and 20 years later it still is holding up great. If you're in need of carpet, don't waste your time looking anywhere else. Come here first!!
