Did a good job a couple years ago on upstairs carpet, the product still looks new and now it's time to do the basement. Customer service was exceptional, maybe because we were returned customers. We bought a house November 2018 and had 30 days to do some things before moving in and carpet was needed we realized about 10 days in. Ok so limited time, around Thanksgiving (when everyone else wants new carpet), and Po Boyz delivered. It seems like carpet was picked out, house measured, ordered, and installed in a week. Their prices were lower than big box stores and we got an upgraded pad. They worked their butts off to meet our ridiculous timeline - the owner even came to lend a hand to create a seamless transition to our new hardwoods (a huge sign they actually care about their customers and we weren't just another "sale"). Overall you get quality, friendly, dependable work with a great price - what's not to like? If you're in the market for carpet, at least give them a shot for a quote and support local businesses! read more

My experience was FANTASTIC! They were able to find our exact carpet that we have in the rest of our house. Stacy and the rest of the team were easy to work with and very understanding. We had a lot of issues with finishing our basement and we had to delay our carpet install multiple times. They were very understanding and helpful. When we finally were able to install the carpet, the installer did an amazing job. The carpet itself was great quality and exactly what we wanted. The installation job was fast and great quality of work. Great Prices! They did a great job installing the carpet and it looks fantastic. It took a little longer than I had originally planned but I don't think I ever asked how long it would take and they did structured my expectations as soon as they arrived. I did find a few places that the baseboards were nicked but that will happen anytime you have someone in your home putting pressure on tools. No one is perfect at every single movement. They worked quick and the carpet looks great. The carpet pad it SO much better than the pad that I had previously. The carpet actually feels squishy under my feet and it isn't even a super plush carpet. I love it. I will use them when I do the rest of my house. read more

I have had Po Boyz install carpet in several of my properties over the years. I have appreciated the owner always helping me find what I was looking for and giving me a good deal. I had always been really happy with them until they installed carpet in my home 3 months ago. They were great with initial customer service but it was an ongoing hassle to get things resolved after the install. There was a lack of attention to the finished details of the install and there were quite a few things that were left not looking good or done well. I wouldn't have even minded these things needing to be fixed if it had been an easy process and it was all eventually taken care of. Everything finally got completed except for a highly visible seam that stood out like a sore thumb. I was told to give it a month or two and see if it blended better. After waiting two months, the seam didn't look any better and I asked if it could be looked at again and possibly redone. The owner came out and looked at it and said it was technically a good seam and to give it another month to blend and if it didn't he would come and redo it. He also reminded me of their 100% customer satisfaction policy. In a month the seam didn't look any different and I called to see if he would redo it. I was treated rudely by the desk person but an appointment was made for someone to come. No one showed up for the appointment and I was never called to explain why or reschedule. When I called about it, I got the voicemail and I left a message asking if we could reschedule and I offered to pay extra if I needed to. I never received a call back. A couple of weeks later I hired a carpet repair company to look at the seam. When the repair man saw it he immediately said, "It needs to be napped. The threads on one side of the seam are longer than the threads on the other side and they're casting a shadow." He pulled out some napping shears and spent 5 minutes trimming the threads. It now looks great and I can hardly tell where it is. I would have felt better about Po Boyz service if they had just told me that they didn't think they could make the seam look any better or were afraid redoing it might make it look worse. They didn't know what it really needed and just didn't show up, didn't explain, and never returned my call. read more
