Finally after digging for a bit they found me with a response of "yeah we don't have the sod, too much rain for it to be cut." What??? We are in a drought? Next, I asked is there a reason no one bothered to call me to let me know the sod was not coming so I didn't drive down to pick it up? I got a confused look and a response of "I was off yesterday in a sarcastic tone." I simply lifted that I took the day off work so I could pick up the sod and throw it the same day and that they had some poor business practices to hammer out. To her credit, the sarcastic woman did offer to have it delivered for free due to the trouble. That move got my attention and I figured, let me give them another chance! Accidents happen, if you can't get the sod I get it and maybe this is a learning curve for them to call a customer? I set up another appointment to get my sod and to have it delivered for about a week later. Since I took another day off of work, I decided to call the day prior to confirm we were set for the next day. I called and got an elderly sounding woman on the other end of the phone. I advised of my name and other necessary information to check on my order. The female confirmed the order was good to go and I confirmed where I wanted the sod placed. She confirmed everything to include the sod's placement was good to go and it would be delivered the next day (TODAY). Fast forward to today at 2:45pm...no sod has been delivered. Thinking maybe they were delayed some, I called the office where I got the same sarcastic female who I dealt with previously answered the phone. Once again, she has no idea who I am with a response of, "I have no sod here." Now I am beginning to believe I am being punked and recount my previous days conversation where I literally called and spoke with an employee who confirmed my order and where I wanted my sod dropped. Yet again, I got the same explanation of rain and they can't cut the grass!?! Silly me for asking a simple question of, "Is there a reason that no one called me?" "Well I was off was the sarcastic response yet again!! Seriously??? Run don't walk from the this business!! I have no idea how they are able to stay in business with such employees (sarcastic and unprofessional) as what I dealt with! We had a 12pm appointment set up for the following week. The day came and at 12:05 no one arrived. I called the office and got a voicemail that said for a quicker response send a text, so I left a voicemail asking what happened to my appointment and followed up with a text as well. By 12:30, I remembered my neighbor had given me Shelby's personal number so I tried calling that but I also received a voicemail. Finally at 1:15 the office called and said they needed to reschedule with no other explanation than Shelby was on another job. I said I didn't want to reschedule and wanted Shelby to call me directly since he is the owner. Now a day later I still have no phone call from Shelby.

They did an outstanding jog. So - last week, I had them come back to take down a massive camphor tree in our front yard and grind two more stumps in our backyard. Again, they did a fabulous job. The grappler truck removed all the debris, including the shavings from the stump grinding. The guy raked the whole area and I couldn't see any evidence of the many limbs, twigs and leaves. While there were indeed disagreements and misunderstandings throughout the project(which could have been handled more cordially by Sam; and we have spoken to him about that) the simple fact of the matter is that our crew was not responsible for the damage that she is claiming to be our fault. The damage that she is referring to was already present prior to the work performed and she only started making false claims about what happened after becoming infuriated that we did not obey her every demand regarding work that we performed on HER NEIGHBORS PROPERTY whom she has an ongoing feud with and had zero authority or decision making power in the matter. So ever since that event she has been harassing our company; leaving several bad reviews on every platform available and even changed her story many times along the way. It almost seems like she was looking for some type of excuse to create a problem with us from the beginning . I have already reprimanded the crew for falling into her argument trap (as we are not interested in perpetuating neighborly fueds and having long drawn out arguments over small details that turn into all out war and social assassination attempts). Although I still can't fathom for the life of me why someone would go so far out of their way just to hurt a small business who only had a minor disagreement and brief exchange of unpleasantries..WE DID NOT DAMAGE HER PROPERTY! So I'm really not sure what her insurance policy is like but I do know that many policies cover accidents but do not cover damage resulting from negligence (which I believe her claim falls under and would mean that her false claim would be financially rewarding to her). Some people are willing to go to any lengths to get a leg up in the world or to get revenge on those who do not bow to them. And for that, I am sorry that none of my crew bowed down to you on that day and I am sorry that your insurance policy didn't cover your claim due to it being classified of negligent inaction. Maybe she saw an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone in this situation, I don't know. But Diane, if you read this, please stop harassing our company and allow us to continue helping our community, supporting our famillies, and adding value to the society that we live in.
