Well....I really wish I could have written a postive review here but unfortunately I can't. When I arrived as a walk in for a gel removal with gel manicure, I was taken right away and an older woman took care of me. The woman that did the gel removal just did so much drilling to remove the gel where it became painful instead of allowing me to soak my nails longer in acetone. Once she was finished, she had said I need to go take care of my client that has been waiting that has an appointment with me, you will have to wait until another person is finished with their client to take over....well that end up being almost a half hour before someone was able to take over. I never had anything like this happen ever at any nail salons I have been to. The person that took over was nice that was able to finish my service. But now my nails are so weak from the never ending drilling that was not needed. I would not return here again and will find another establishment after this situation. This place is a'aight. It does in a pinch. It was close and well priced and I had a formal event that required some spit and polish. I don't remember who my tech was. Gel mani, French pedi= $60. The cuticle lines on my mani were pretty bad. The polish went all the way to my cuticle, which I appreciate, but she got it all over my cuticles which makes for really rough lines. The pedi was pretty good, but the white lines were really thick. I could have requested thinner lines, I guess, but I was totally into my chair massage, lol. read more

I've lived here for 6 years and tried almost a dozen nail salons in a 20 mile radius and this. Is. The. Best. Place! I literally show her a picture and she mimics it exactly. Great nail salon! They did a fantastic job and really cleaned up my nails. I'm happily surprised by the quality of my mani/pedi and the reasonable price! I'm usually disappointed when I try new nail salons; it's hard to find ones worth the money. This one is truly a great deal ~ my pedicure is better than places that cost several times as much! It's not worth your time to come to this salon , i had asked to get a French design done but instead of the traditional white i wanted a different color . I kid you not this women literally told me that my nails aren't fit for a French tip design. Like i understand that u want to go home and it's why u constantly look at the clock and argue to ur coworker that u don't want to do it . Like if u didn't wanted to do it then you shouldn't have accepted my appointment correct? At the end of the day I'm not asking for your opinion, I'm paying you to do my nails , not for you to give me your judgement . Today, I had an appointment at 12noon with Tina as a new client. She came highly recommended and I loved that person's nails. I arrived right on time, I was greeted by first name and she was ready. The shop had so many OPI(my fav and only) gel colors I was in color heaven and the best part is they were in order, by color. So it made picking what I wanted very easy. But I wanted them all...lol The shop was clean and neat, which is #1 for me and when it comes to my nails I am super picky. Tina was extremely personable and so so sweet! She had good conversation but you can also see she is about her work, so sometimes she would get quiet but more so concentrating so that I didn't mind. She took her time but she also told me she does because she likes to "get the nails perfect" and she did. You have to have a steady hand with gel when polishing and she has it down pack. My nails came out beautiful! Her manicure and pedicure were great, she reshaped my nails and removed cuticle skin without cutting me. The price was reasonable and fair. At the end of the appt she gave me a hug and stated she hoped to see me again. I'm all about the experience and she created one that is worth seeing her again. I've already made my next appt. They even give you flip flops to go even tho I had my own. I would highly recommend her! read more

Tina is the best!! My hubby and I come for pedicures and ONLY see her! All of the ladies in the shop are amazing and friendly but no one can do a pedi like Tina! The services are very reasonably priced for high quality in return. She is a pleasure to visit and puts so much time and effort into doing a perfect job. I have been coming here for years (10+). Tina usually does my pedi and mani. I have had no one in particular do gel nails. Each time, I have received good service. There is a woman up front who can do ALL hair types. She is amazing. She did caramel highlights once and a cut for me - I was curious and had just watched her do a chemical process. She can even do a Dominican blow out! My hair was gorgeous! I usually go when they are not busy, I only do walk in and have been quite successful with that. You may want to make an appointment though. Especially if you want someone particular. Oh. Bring cash for tipping. If you are getting your hair done, make an appointment. The stylist have a lot of regular customers and can get busy. If they done have anyone, I normally ask if they can slip me in. Oh yes, they do amazing facials!! read more

I walked in and no one greeted me I was standing there awkwardly for about 30 seconds. Finally someone asks me what I needed done ( she didn't mind looking up at me ) I told her I needed a gel refill and she said there's no one here that does refills today! WHAT!!? I have tried multiple nail salons in Lorton and Alexandria and this one is the best. I can only rate it based on the pedicures that I have received here. I have come here 5 times and received excellent services each time. This place is clean and the staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable and there is adequate parking available. I attended this salon often- the staff is very friendly and talented in their own right. The prices are competitive and reasonable when compared to many others. You get professional service but the issue is not with the staff instead, it is with the products- many of the polishes are old and sometimes seemed to be water down with nail polish remover to stretch the polish, colors are a bit outdated and not up with the changing fashion of vibrant colors for Gel and match polish for toes.
