From the great people that take your vitals before you give your plasma to the phlebotomist that actually take your plasma are incredible. I will never be back. I laid on a bed watching others get serviced before me. Not a big deal but when I tried to speak with the tech she immodestly started yelling that " I DID YOU A FAVOR BY BRINGING YO IN. I COULD HAVE LEFT YOUR ASS STANDING." I got up and walked out without saying a word to her. Then she continued "BYE!.... BYE! Now I am 100% Latino but I look white. I had previously done over 11 donations in the Jacksonville area but due to an extremely demanding travel schedule and the rigors associated with it my donation frequency became slightly problematic. Working remotely I now have an assignment in the Orlando area which facilitates reassuming my donations here locally. My initial interaction with a help desk gentleman at 609 N Powers dr. Was nothing short of unprofessional, unwelcoming and borderline hostile. I was told that my address verification letter which had a USPS date stamp for the previous week was unacceptable and I was additionally insulted and asked who was the letter sent by . Even if the letter was sent from Santa Claus, that was in no way reflective of company policy, donor eligibility requirements, or my personal privacy. This staff is grossly unprofessional, displays aggressive patterns, of behavior and treat potential donors as an inconvenience . As a verified donor I merely required a change of venue, not a hostile interrogation from an inarticulate staff member. read more

I would give this company zero stars if possible for hiring the most incompetent phlebotomlist in the plasma business. twice I went to this location and he said I had 'scar tissue' no vein. In Orlando there are 5 companies that do plasma. Both time I went to another company and they were able to find veins. I will never again go back to that company. read more

awful place. most of their postage and advertisements are extremely out of date. website says 700$ in your first month, you will be lucky to get half of that. first two trips are 3-4hr experiences worth 100-150$ past that you get half of that. gold and platinum programs were discontinued years ago for being "too beneficial to donors." After going there for around 7 or 8 times and being very bruised every week, I made a comment about bad sticks, the gentleman that seems to tell everyone what to do said if you don't like the way we stick you is a very good reason to never use this company again. Never been treated so rude! This site doesn't know what they are doing. That many bad sticks shows a lack of training and does not care about their customers. I have been donating for years and have never had such horrible service and no customer care. Even medical told me there are way to many bad sticks. Apparently no care about improving there training. I will not return and communicate to everyone to avoid this company location. Totally unacceptable customer service. Mike is a disgrace when it comes to customer service!! Returning to my previous donation location. Never had problems like this and those doing sticks are always trying to learn more and improve. 5 stars for Bre! Donating plasma can feel invasive and uncomfortable, but I can honestly say that each and every time Bre sticks my arm it is quick and painless. I've also seen her handle some difficult people very calmly, preventing any escalation. Her peers also seem to know they can ask her for help or direction when needed. As well as being able to keep a light hearted and fun atmosphere, I always at least have one laugh while I'm there. 10/10 glad I switched to this location. read more

Yikes! DO NOT GO TO THE AMERICANA LOCATION! I have been to other plasma locations with no problems. My sons and I went here and waited almost FOUR HOURS to even be seen. We drank almost a gallon of water the day before and day of. I also have 100 tattoos. They had to document each one. There was a gentleman who was in training documenting my tattoos and kept having to ask for help. No other plasma place even looks at them. They just ask if I have any. That took almost an hour. Then when it came time to donate we were told we have too small of veins and couldn't donate because they use really big needles. Been coming here over 65 times so far over the years. Some visits are better than others. The place is always clean for the most part. As with all ppl, each employee has different personalities. I have never had a problem with the employees but some are not as talkative and friendly as others. All visits have been overall positive. read more

I came in today to donate so I can pay my rent And whatever reason this employee had to be disrespectful , She decided to ram a needle into my arm and made me cry in front of the whole donor floor .... she never apologized for what she did and the manager didn't do anything to fix the situation , no extra funds , no nothing and I'm embarrassed to even being part of the csl valued patient committee!!! Yesterday 02/20/2023 I went to the CSL Plasma center in Orlando FL to donate plasma this is my very first time doing. Met with a Nurse or doctor, which i believe was someone wear a white coat and was advise i could not donate because i am a gay male. He then ask me about my medical history advised the worker i was on PREP medication to which he responded oh I never heard of that medicine well if you a nurse why are you on google looking up information about medication and how dont use know what prep is used for. He then goes on and asks me if i have HIV which i dont i explain to the doctor/nurse how prep work how we are required to get tested every three months and have to be negative in order to continue the medication, he then goes so what happens if you are positive then what do you do, he then goes on to say we don't accept patients on prep because we dont know if you have HIV which is understandable but the issue here is education, dont assume because i am a gay male and on PREP that i am HIV positive cause not only GAY people can get HIV straight ppl can get it. Instead of Accusing me of having HIV you should educate a client on why the CSL Plasma locations dont allow for a client to donate it was just veryunprofessional, to later be told by another office that GAY men are put into a different system in the CSL plasma systems like what does that mean so your telling me your discriminate against gay people in your systems straight people are grouped different then gay at the end of the day we are all people, if thats how your company operates you keep that between you establishment dont share that with potential clients. its not what you say its how you say it and they way both offices said it, it was accusing me of having HIV and labeling me in a discriminated way because i was gay. read more

I'm writing this while sitting in a donation bed. I was ignored for about 20 minutes when I first came in. Then waited 20 minutes for my physical. Waited half an hour on a bed to be stuck with a needle. Only for them to fiddle with the needle, ignore my request to put a gauze on to cover it due to it making me squeamish, ignoring me when I said the blood pressure cuff was too tight, and overall I'm hurting trying to pump but because I've been so thoroughly ignored by the staff I'm not saying anything anymore. They don't care here. I've been too much better donation centers that a. Pay better, b. Treat you better, and c. Make sure you're comfortable. None of which these people did except for the lady who took my vitals. read more
