If I were reviewing individual people I would give Aizhan and Aubrielle 5 Stars. They both know how to treat someone with kindness, I felt very safe with them, especially Aizhan. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is that every time it is not one of these two, I always end up with arm bruising or some other unpleasant experience. Today I drove 30 miles to donate and I was deferred due to very minor bruising, caused by the previous person who helped me when Aizhan and Aubrielle were not there. They seem to have a lot of people with a low level of experience working there and they allow them to essentially practice inserting needles on you. Aubrielle and Aizhan both know exactly how to touch, treat and assess people for issues prior to even getting started. I am mentioning them because they made it worth my time. I always waited for them. First Aubrielle, then when I got to know Aizhan I even preferred her. Thank you to those two only! read more

Very, very, very, upset... Was sent away 4 times for the same reason........ No doctors note?????????? When I spent half of my day , riping and running trying to get a doctor's note. They asked me to reach out to them about this incident. I did as they asked and still never heard back from them. Just shows that they don't care about things. Yes you are paying people to donate, it have some respect for those that are doing this for you and those in need. read more

***BE AWARE*** Today, I drove about an hour to the CSL Plasma center in Fairfield, CA, to donate plasma and was turned away immediately because I have viable veins in only one arm. I am an experienced returning donor and familiar with the donation process. The manager told me that this location recently created a rule requiring both arms to be available for plasma collection. Staff said this rule applies only here, BUT it isn't written or disclosed in the donor eligibility information anywhere. I am not aware of any clearly published FDA requirement stating that plasma donors must have two usable arms, which makes this situation even more confusing. FDA materials describe donor eligibility and collection requirements for source plasma, but I did not find a clear federal rule phrased that way. That means donors can waste significant time traveling to this center only to be rejected before any medical screening. If this is a location rule, it MUST be clearly disclosed in advance. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. read more

I'm writing this based on my personal experience. 2 days in a row I came to donate both days I drank a total of 120fl oz water 1st day plain water I was told come back tomorrow and add IV liquid to water I did as told. Both days 2 phlebotomist tried finding my vein 1st day no one found my veins by touch, 2nd day 1 found the vein but she said your not like normal people that veins pop your seem to disappear she called for a second opinion same thing then she called the nurse the nurse vaguely touched my arms and said sorry come back another day we can't do it. It's like they are afraid or maybe don't know how to work with people with small veins. I was happy to donate sadly phlebotomist are not trained to find small veins only veins that are pronounced. Care quality was okay read more

The staff was attentive and informative. They handled the IV insertion very well and I went in apprehensively after reading horror reviews. I have zero complaints. read more

I've been waiting for 2 1/2 hours and haven't gotten called for anything. I hear constant chitchat in the room next to between the other people working there is no receptionist in front so it's a a little difficult to get any sort of attention from overall a really annoying experience. read more

Terrible. Gossipy and rude employees. Very unprofessional. Did not like how I was treated.

I had a pretty easy-going visit for my first donation. The process was about two hours long but that it what's expected . Would definitely recommend to read more

took 2 hours to get seen and when it was my turn they said they entered my name wrong and they cannot take my blood today. terrible service and a waste of time. read more

I would recommend this place to everybody, but due to my own experience I'm giving a 1 star. On my 6th donation visit an inexperienced phlebotomist inserted the needle wrong, entirely missing the vein, which caused a slight bruise to form on my arm (not to mention when they went to use my other arm another employee made a mistake that ended up in a sizable amount of my blood squirting onto the ground). When I went back 3 days later to donate I was denied because of the bruise that they caused. Also had to wait an hour outside the nurses office as well. I won't be coming back but overall the place is pretty straightforward and well run, and some workers are very solid. read more

While over all this is a nice place, I don't like being touched at check-in. One of the male checking always pulls the arms of my shirt up like he expects to find something, always pulling on my arms. You don't need to touch a person to do a visual arm check. He is the only one who does this and it's disrespectful. read more

What a joke, intake took 2.5 hrs and then I was turned away for not eating in a 3 hr window. Literally got here at 10:45, had eaten at 10:15 and was turned away for not eating when I got to the chair at 1:20. read more

First time donor so I was nervous coming in (not big fan of blood and needles) but I went anyways, as I entered I got greeted by Anahy I told her it was my first time and she explained the process to me in a simple and not technical terms. We went through the screening process which was super easy and quick that eased my nerves. I then got more information about next visits and what the donation go towards from Maria and Naveah ( sorry if I spelt it wrong ) the process of donating it self was super quick and they made the place feel so cozy I forgot I needed to give plasma. Overall it was a good first time donation and will be back for my second donating at this site!! read more

I spent the time to hydrate fully, drive 20-25 minutes away to Fairfield to donate only to get sent to the nurse after everything was good and the phlebotomist wouldn't tell me why she was sending me to the nurse. After waiting another 15 minutes for the nurse, she just sits in front of the screen and still can't tell me why I was even sent to her. Then, after 2 other people have to come in to assist her she finally tells me that the phlebotomist put in her notes that I smell like marijuana. You guys still take the plasma but it matters that I smell like marijuana. Wow! What a waste of time but you're getting plasma to save people and turn willing donators away because they smell like "weed"! And have ABSOLUTELY no consideration for donors time! The phlebotomist could have said that from the beginning!!!!!!!!!So UPSET! read more

They have trainees on site that missed my vein causing me to bruise and I couldn't donate. Sent me away multiple times because of said bruise even when it was gone. Let my friend with a bruise donate though. When I did donate the app said I donated but I never received my $100. Lots of people who seem like they don't really know what they are doing. Definitely do not recommend this business. read more

This place is not operated well AT ALL!!! I went to donate on Tuesday and the moment I get on the machine not even a minute in the machine breaks on me. They have people with no experience setting up the machines and that's a MAJOR reason why people are not having their blood return to them. So because of this the person that's donating receives a RBC loss due to the lack and negligence of staff. Why isn't anyone checking and ensuring the machine is working properly before hooking a donor on it. Then instead of tending to me correctly they send me to wait in the waiting area for 15 mins and never communicated anything else. So here I am driving here on Thursday mind you I come from out of town and I'm pulled in the nurse office and told I'm deferred until the end of January because they couldn't determine how much blood I lossed so they automatically marked it for 200 when I know in fact I didn't lose no where near that. It's just pure laziness and lack of care. Plus I just wasted my time, money and gas to come here today when all of this should've been communicated when the situation happened on Tuesday. I already don't like this but this experience just validated why I stayed away for 6+ months to begin with. I just started back a week ago. I'm done with it. Tired of the lack of professionalism, care and lack of good phlebotomist that can actually stick a donor correctly. read more

if you're expecting $400 like me on your first donation, not happening lol experience was not terrible, but the nurse acts like she's scared to touch the patients AND i feel like she purposely talks fast, i didn't understand anything she said. there is a couple nurses who act like they care tho :)) read more

Staff is beyond amazing. Extremely professional experience with every employee I encountered.

WOOOO HOOO, to CSL Fairfield. I wanted to take a moment to commend your facility on its excellent operation for a job well done. Mariam, who handled my registration, was incredibly pleasant, and Loren was equally nice and helpful. I was promptly seen by the nurse, Hannah, who did a great job. After Nevea checked my weight, I was in and out in just 37 minutes, and I received $100 for my first donation. read more

This is a Really great staff! And they take really good care of you there. The staff is always nice and attentive

I started donating last week for first time. Loved the welcoming crew up at the reception. I was first put off by the fact that it took 1.5 hours, in total but the nice manager reassured me that future visits would be shorter in time, and he was correct. When i returned to donate again, the process was quick. If your going to donate eat and drink. Be well hydrated. I have to tell you this place is kept very clean, staff are nice, respectful, and well trained. This is really helping me out with paying some of my bills, and at the same time i am helping others. read more

great team! I love how gentle the techs are with patients- made the experience and care a lot more pleasant.!
