A couple of months ago, I was struggling to get in anywhere, and I'm so grateful a place like this exists. I hadn't been to Planned Parenthood in years and had just changed my insurance I was relieved to find out they accept it. They were able to see me on a Saturday, and even though I arrived late, the staff was incredibly patient and still took the time to see me. During my visit, I had blood work, testing, and a vaccine done everything was handled professionally and with care. I truly appreciate how kind, respectful, and accommodating everyone was. So grateful for this clinic and the important services they provide

while I am grateful for care I have been told one myth after another about HRT at VPP…read more breast cancer risk is not increased on HRT cholesterol is not increased by HRT. HRT isn't a temporary treatment until you get over your menopause symptoms. estradiol and progesterone prescriptions are not controlled substances, those are just prescriptions. and when I questioned these claims and asked for scientific proof I was told I was disrespectful and that services may be denied if I continued to question providers. if I made claims at my job with scientific data to back those up I'd be in trouble. Lying to patients and distributing myths instead of facts is not a way to build community trust. I'm a long time vegan and never smoker. Having a nurse call me to get my commitment to stop smoking and eating red meat was one of the strangest moments of my life. I'm very sure it wasn't my records in front of her regardless of her confirming my name and DOB. I'm never sure they actually know the subject matter or my case when I speak to them.

I had injured my foot but I didn't think I had a serious injury, although my advice nurse and…read moreemergency room doctor begged to differ. I got a referral to Bay Area foot care. I was able to get an appointment within two days of when I called which blew me away. When I arrived I had quite a bit of paperwork. I could have done it online but it just kept crashing. I was never able to submit any information ahead of time. The waiting room was chock full of patients. Just from the crowd, it was clear there was going to be a wait. Given my low expectations, they called me way earlier than I was expecting. My appointment was with Dr. Sukhranjan Nijjar, DPM. She was very professional and explained the situation very clearly. I found it easy to talk to her and she answered my questions very well. Unfortunately her diagnosis was clearly aligned with my advice nurse and my emergency room doctor. She then recommended what I thought was a pretty aggressive treatment schedule. But then I discovered if treatment were neglected, I might face possible amputation of my limbs, kidney failure, and blindness. OK early aggressive treatment is clearly called for. Not that I was happy. Well rats! Sigh.

I wish I would have just kept the small bump in the bottom of my foot because he just made it worse now I have no pain at the top of my foot. He cut me in three different places it's just crappy so instead of making it better he made it worse cause now I have a bigger mass of skin underneath my foot and it still hurts but worse now so don't go to him.
