I was impressed with the technician, Liyon Zya, who CSL Climate Control sent out to inspect my furnace and central air conditioning. The furnace is over 20 years old and I thought for sure he would tell me I needed to buy a new furnace. Instead he did a detailed inspection while taking pictures with a high-end endoscope. As he was inspecting the furnace he explained what he was looking for and why. He also checked the air flow and CO2 levels. Of course, a new furnace would be more efficient, but for now, he made sure it was working and did not find any problems. He also collected all the data he needed to recommend a new furnace when I need it. Guy came out for an ac tune up. He upsold us some coolant or refrigerant. While he was doing this the ac magically stopped working and we had to replace the whole system. Maybe his fault. Maybe bad timing. Who knows Now we have to buy a new ac, shop around csl was the cheapest however their invoice and followup was elementary we went with a competitor. Not good! read more

My furnace went out in the middle of the freezing weather. I was referred to them by a friend and let me tell you they were such a blessing! Jose (Comfort Advisor) came out and gave me some estimates because my furnace was 17 years old. He was very honest and personable and I chose to have my furnace & AC replaced at the same time. They came out and replaced my AC which was on the roof (I live in a condo complex) during the snow and my Lennox furnace as well! The installers ( Dima & Janusz ) answered all my questions and told me all the new features of my furnace. They were on time and professional as well as courteous. Jose called me during the installation and asked me if I had any questions. He followed up the next day to see if everything was going ok and if I had any further questions. We had an issue with our HVAC and wanted to get someone to take look at it and provide an estimate/diagnostic. I sent quotes to many vendors through yelp and all of them would charge us a service fee for $85-150 per hour except CSL offers a free estimate/consultation. Jose came in the next morning and was very knowledgeable and spent about half an hour with us. Dominick is absolutely fantastic. He is thorough, patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and terrific to work with. My wife and I thought our air conditioner was dead based on another company's analysis, so we called CSL Climate Control to quote us on a new unit (visit was FREE). Dominick was eager to get to work on a comprehensive analysis for us to make absolutely sure nothing was wrong with the unit before we decided to replace it. After thorough inspections (using various electric and coolant measuring tools) of the thermostat, furnace, and A/C unit, he was able to deduce that a tiny wire within the furnace was connected a bit too loosely to the circuit board. Upon tightening its connection to the node, we had cool air coming through within minutes. While our A/C unit is old and will need to be replaced likely within the next 3-24 months (depending on how long it would last), Dominick got us up and running in the meantime so we can take our time researching and saving up for a new unit we'll feel good about when the time is right. Dominick also replaced our filter for us (which was very helpful, as we have a very atypical giant filter that is very difficult to maneuver) and made sure we felt sufficiently informed on everything before he left. He spent a very generous amount of time with us doing so. Thank you, Dominick - we are definitely planning to work with you going forward! I'd also like to note that CSL Climate Control is a family-owned company - not one of the big chains. My wife and I try to work exclusively with companies like this, as they tend to deliver MUCH better expertise, results, and customer service vs. the big chains. We started noticing that our house wasn't heating up and realized that even though the furnace was running we not getting any warm air. We called CSL and they were able to come out the next day. Josh arrived wearing a mask, checked out our unit and determined what was wrong. He was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done. I highly recommend CSL for any heating and cooling projects you have. We hired them to replace out old furnace and we are very happy we chose to go with them. First, José was very fast at responding to my request for a quote, and was responsive to our specific project needs, offering a lot of advice and feedback. Secondly, the crew showed up on time on a day when anyone could have been late (right after the second big snow of Feb 2021) , they wore masks and brought drop cloths for our floors, and were set up in no time. We have an old house and the old furnace was a rat's nest of wires and pipes and had been routed around by a lot of other old projects, but when they finished the job they had replaced and rerun a number of lines to make the entire corner accessible and clean looking. They did a thorough cleanup of their own work as well, which I really appreciated. Mario and Pawel were very professional techs and very courteous in our home. I woke up at 3 a.m. because our furnace was making loud screeching noises like a machine was breaking down. Then I woke up again at 5 a.m. because it smelled like burnt plastic in the house. I called CSL at 5:10 because I was nervous it was something dangerous. Someone called me back within 5 minutes and informed me to turn off the furnace and instructed me how to turn it off.
