I am the president at a condo association here in Austin. We have worked with CSA management since 2012. We had a couple other companies prior, and had very bad experiences. We have found CSA fantastic - responsive to our needs, available during emergencies with their after hours call center, and always professional and pleasant. This negative review is about Juan Creixell and his horrible mismanagement at our property. Our daughter has cancer and every time our dumb neighbor blasts his base and music, our unit walls vibrate. The dishes in our kitchen rattle and the mirror in the bathroom also shakes. Our family has sent many emails explaining how disrespectful this is since this numb-nut doesn't pay our mortgage, doesn't pay our property taxes, doesn't pay our medical bills, doesn't pay our grocery bills and doesn't pay our HOA fee. Our daughter cries constantly to the loud base asking why no one will tell this person to follow noise rules in our community. No warning or violations have been sent to our trashy neighbor because Juan Creixell thinks it's okay that my daughter wakes up screaming because our building is shaking like a music venue downtown. Lindsay has always been quick with issues we have had and even handled an emergency issue on the weekend for us. We have had to downsize and then the following year move, they helped us through the process and transferred us. I was introduced to the CSA group years ago but always considered them too small of shop for our portfolio. When we finally made a decision to leave one of the larger brokerage firms in Austin, I asked my broker at the time who he'd recommend we hire. He suggest Andrew C because of hands on approach our product type demanded. We interview CSA and made the switch when one of our assets was 72% occupied. Within 6-months CSA brought that project above 90% and help us sell the project within a year of taking on the leasing & management assignment. They took over my apartment complex just as I was subletting it out and was a disaster of a time getting it finally through as it took more than a month to verify my Subletter. Also I was warned by two but seperate neighbors that Mary will "lose" money orders and blame you so they warned me to keep them all untill I moved and and unfortunately I lost a few of them in the move and they got me. They claimed to have not recieved 3 of my water bills dating back almost e months. Now any regular complex would be at your door if you miss your payment but they didnt and then claimed I didnt pay the last 3 months. Make sure you do not use this company or lease from any of their properties and if you are already in one then be very cautious and keep EVERYTHING you pay towards. read more

They never respond. Getting an answer is like pulling teeth. Their website wont allow you to contact them. I love nothing more than no response. Even calling gets you the run around and still no answers. Horrible company. Do not do buisness with them. read more

These guys are just a bunch of crooks. They have not just not treated me as a good/decent tenant but have not or cared at all to pay me the large sum of money owed to me for work performed. Not a good company to work with as its brokers and PMs will completely, completely screw you over. Beware. read more

This company is horrid they have a clueless operator. They have no tech support for the very bad website they set up. They manage property and HOA's when really they do nothing but collect money from hardworking Americans and if you are even a day late 20% fee. My advice to everyone find a large reputable company because this one is a garbage dump. read more

The building and rent are great, but This company is very far from great. I give them a zero. Due to the fact no one is ever in the office or return important calls about there property, I have been with them for 4 years and it's just gotten worse. I'll call they don't know any answers regarding the rent or the agent or about there property and transfer me to voice mail. I never get a phone call back and after repeated calls I'll finally get a hold of the person I was suppose to but, they have no answers, and they tell me that it's another person I need to talk to but they don't know where they are, or even have any information not even a name. They tell me my 2 simple questions have to go to 2 separate people. After I call dozens of times finally got the email of the person to answer my questions and it's only one person, and of course there not available I have to leave an email. This has been for 4 weeks going, I think this company is really bad or maybe a shell company. Rent with them if you enjoy chaseing the management around and never hearing back. Rent with them if you love being ignored and enjoy leaving long extended voicemails all the time. Gross way to "manage" a building..... read more

This is a slum lord management group. I have a family of 7 living below me (1 bedroom) and it is no concern to them. It's my concern bc my water bill is 50 bucks a month and I am only one person (group water). read more

I have to say first and foremost that my rating is based on my interaction with my particular property manager - NEVER returned phone calls, BARELY returned emails, took over a week to run a credit check (in my past experiences they've always taken 10 minutes) and took a month to get an exterminator out to my apartment after I had to firmly state that the cockroaches I was seeing in my apartment could qualify for pet deposits - and I stayed on top of my request to have an exterminator come in because I was fearing for my life. In their defense, I did get some explanation that they were "between exterminators" which I can understand, and once the cockroach man came he came on a regular monthly basis. When I finally had to leave the Austin area and found a subtenant to take over my lease it was the same thing, days turned into weeks of me following up constantly and me getting NO response what-so-ever. They get one star for their nice facility and pretty friendly receptionists (when you don't get the automatic answering system - coincidentally the only way I was ever able to corner the property manager was when the receptionist was not screening calls). My 3 months in the Austin area and with CSA were not too horribly bad, but horribly frustrating. I would recommend them because moreover everything was eventually completed but I would also recommend staying on top of them to make sure your needs are met. read more
