I was hesitant about visiting this store due to the one review that stated the staff and patrons don't wear masks. I was here today to get my watch fixed and all the staff were wearing masks, every one. Plus they have a sign as you enter that masks are required so the customers inside all had masks on. I just wanted to post this to let everyone know that I felt very safe with the masking present at this store today. Plus he did such a great job fixing my watch with a new band and battery. I went to have a battery put in my watch today the fold up sign on the sidewalk was outside "Watch Batteries" but when i went inside i was told the watch tech was not there today . Why put the sign out ? this is the second time i have drove over for nothing wasting my time and gas . this was a great place at one time but now the customer service leaves a lot to be desired i will be finding a new watch service. :( read more

Took my 1970's Omega Speedmaster to another shop and then told me it would be $800 to repair the broken main spring. I decided to wait. Brought it here to Crystal Watch and they took a look at it and told me there was nothing wrong with it at all. The clicking I felt when winding it was designed to keep from over winding it. I bought a new band and for $26 I am wearing my dad's old watch with pride. Soooo very nice to find a good honest person/business. They will get all of my future business. read more

This Watch Repair is extremely honest and fair in their pricing. My wife took her Christian Dior Watch for re-sizing and her Givenchy watch for a new battery. Chris only charged her $23. Price is very reasonable. They are professional people. We will not hesitate to use them again. They have excellent reviews and this is the reason we went to them at the beginning. Went down same day, they took a look at my watches- they didn't need batteries, just wound correctly. No hard sell- they gave me a couple options for future band swaps. It's been a while since the last review, HOWEVER, my experience has only gotten better with Chris (the owner). I remember coming to this place for the first time about 5 years and he has become a true master of his craft. He has been completely honest, incredibly fast, and provides the highest level of customer service. I've had the battery replaced on every single one of my watches, my mother's watches, my father's watches, my brother's watches, and my fiancé's watches by Chris. I have never felt like I was being cheated from my money nor have I ever had to worry about a mysterious scratch appearing on any of the watches. I've brought in watches from Movado, Gucci, Cartier, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana (just to name a few) and I've seen him work on much more premium and top notch watches as well (he also sells really nice watches too). Recently I had worn my Movado (the same one from my first review) and like a klutz I had removed it without thinking, well lets just say it ended up on the floor with a cracked glass. Well lucky for me I knew the perfect place so on my day off I roll on over and see Chris is a bit busy with a customer so I wait outside (due to all this Covid stuff) and once he was done I went it and dropped off the watch and went off with my day. He calls me later on and gives me the price, which was much lower than I had thought especially for an original replacement, I give him the go and I go pick up the watch on my next day off (which was today). I bought a starburst clock on Ebay, only to find out that it didn't work. I was already in love with it so I knew I had to repair it. I took the clock to Crystal Watch and within a week, he had converted it to a battery operating clock and charged me a very reasonable price to convert it. Highly recommend this place! I went in for 2 watch battery replacements. 2 weeks later, one of them did not work. I took it back and he said my watch did not work.....not the battery. I did not have the receipt as it worked when he replaced it. I told him our exact conversation and he did not care. He was hesitate when I asked for by original batteries back, but I did get them. He basically ripped me off. I have never written a review like this but I was told to do it so someone else does not experience the same service. I opened my watch when I got home only to find out there was no battery in my watch. So does it not work because there is not battery?????? read more

Just had my battery replaced, the gentleman was kind of rude. When you figure retail batteries cost around $4 and he wanted $13.14 to replace the battery and he was completely unwilling to show me how he popped the back off for future reference. It took him less the 5 minutes to complete the process so that is a nice little haul. He knows how easy this is so he is obviously afraid of losing his 75% markup. If you do not care about getting ripped off he is your man!!! read more

What a great store this is. I have had watches repaired, batteries replaced, purchased watch bands and various other items and had great service every time. Hatch and Chris are so smart and they will tell you the truth without trying to cheat you. Hatch recently repaired a clock for me that had broken hands. The turn around on the repair work was one day because they had the replacement part in stock. These people are so nice and they really strive to give you a great shopping experience with excellent customer service and fair pricing. These gentlemen come from a long line of clock and watch repairmen and they are very knowledgeable in their trade. I highly recommend them. If you like arbitrary pricing this is the place for you. I had him replace a battery in my twenty year-old TAG a couple of years ago and it was a reasonable $10. Last week I had him replace the battery in the same watch and he charged me $25! Maybe It wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't take all of three minutes and if I didn't think that he charged me that much just because it was a TAG HEUER (and an old one at that). I hope he enjoyed his high fee, because he lost me as a customer and I'll never darken his doorway again. Stay away from this pirate. read more

this is an older location that used to reside in a small kiosk in the whittwood mall (before it was torn down.) even with yelp directions, this place is difficult to find. If you are ever looking for this location, the best idea is to look for the "Vans photo and Video" shop because it is right next door. I went to get two watches replacement batteries. one was a much older watch that the man working there was very impressed by, and i knew nothing about. the other was a newer watch that i got for christmas and they have watches running in the store, so the battery is either in horrible condition, or just almost dead by the time someone buys it. two watches that got replacement batteries and the man added oil to the gears of the older watch and the total was $25. so, think of it as $10 per watch battery replacement. I have no idea if that is a good price or not, but I wasn't upset or anything...Though, I don't know any better... read more

I have used this business in the past as far back as to when Whitwwod was an enclosed mall. Each time I was very much happy with the service. It has been at least 10 years since I been in there but today I had a battery replaced in my father's watch, in addition, I had purchased a watch online and it was running fast and asked if it could be adjusted. Chris came back and indicated to me it may be something more but would adjust as well as he could but it may need to come back to deal with other issues. I was completely happy and satisfied with his service and professionalism. In a brief conversation, I noticed a photo on his wall and I indicated that was who I had done business with before he indicated which in return he said that was his grandfather! it was nice to see how a true craftsman passed his knowledge on to his grandson I hope to continue to do business with Chris at Crystal Watch as both my son and I have adopted a new hobby in watches over the last few years. read more

Great service and prices. I've taken both men and watches for battery repair. They replaced the batteries within 5 min for each watch. The batteries last l long time. Paying $10 for a battery vs purchasing a new watch is a great deal!! My recommendation is they stay open longer in the day. They close too early. read more
