Online scheduling is a plus. Minimal paperwork. Office staff were knowledgeable and helpful. One downside is we weren't seen right away and had to wait about 20 minutes to see the doctor. However, the doctor was very kind and patient with my daughter once it was our turn. He gave us good advice for her complex eye issue that no one had given us before. We did not feel rushed or like just another patient. Would love more eyeglass choices for children, however my daughter was able to eventually find a pair she liked. I would definitely recommend this facility and doctor! read more

Love the staff , doctor and the convenient location. They try to help you the best they can and when they maje a mistake they try to make it right. I've been going to them for 4 years, and I am happy. I am happy I found them because they had been saving me money on my prescription glasses and refer everyone who asks to them. read more

I randomly chose this place for an eye exam. The doctor was super nice and knowledgeable. I have ehlors-danlos and most doctors are not familiar with it. However this man knew how it effects the eyes better than my family doctor. Very impressed. All the girls were wonderful and went above and beyond helping me decide on frames. Great staff awful system. Went there for my first pair of glasses. The dr was kind, thorough and helpful. The staff were helpful and kind. But it took at least 30 minutes per visit for them to find my file, prescription or the status of my glasses. I finally found the glasses I wanted submitted them and found out 4 days later that they are no longer made. They need an updated system. I am never going back. read more

Stay away from this place the frames are junk the people barely know what is going on. They called after my appt. and said, we can;t find your insurance, please give us your total social security number. WHAT ! I needed my glasses so I can go to Opthamologists office with my lenses out. I had to cancel the appt. twice. My order was supposed to be there in two weeks. It has been a month. I used to go to this place before it changed hands and it was so much better, much much better. I will never, Never use these people again. I can tell you this story. Two people came in while I waited 30 minutes for my appt. The first. said " I just can't see with these glasses.The second said the frame broke for no reason in a week. These ppl are the worst. While I went and picked up my glasses there was a lady ahead of me who was complaining about her glasses. She couldn't see out of them come to find out they gave her someone else prescription. I then get my glasses and I have bifocal one was higher then the other had to send them back. Wait another two weeks got them back again and the arms are glued so I can't fold them down. Was told they would reorder. No call for a month. I then started calling to find out what is going on the say I will call you by the end of the work day or I will call you in a hour. It has all been a bunch of shit. I will never go back to this place and I don't recommend anyone tho go here either read more

First of all they never answer the phone and never give you a return call.i had a frame that just fell apart so I when to the store and they did not want to hear anything about it and charged me a 200 dollars to get a new frame.now the problem I have with this is that they charged me for a new frame and would not give me the old frame..hmmm.not good dont waste your time go somewhere that appreciates your business. I would never recommend this place!!!!! Went in to the Bethlehem store with insurance that would give me $100.00 towards glasses and a coupon for $99.00 progressive package for bi focals. Well, I ended up paying $499.00 for my glasses. they said if they used the insurance it would be even more. They charged me $99.00 for the package, plus $219.00 for a prepherial package, which is so you don't just have a line of vision in the middle so they said, you have it on the sides too??? I liked the dr but the girls were very talky and confusing. That's probably why I ended up buying the glasses and not really questioning the price. read more

Receptionist and the lady who run this place is an IDIOT. I booked an appointment for my son, told them I was coming from out of town and only available two days. They worked us but when I got here she had written us in the wrong date. Even tho they knew I was here from out of town and it was there fault they wouldn't apologize or let him be seen. Had an appointment for 9:30 that I waited for for 3 weeks. Arrived at 9:15. Doctor wandered in at 9:40. Waited til after 10 and he was with another customer. Was told there was another appointment still ahead of me. What sense does it make to schedule an appointment? Only good thing was the guy at the front counter. First impression can be misleading. I thought I was in good hands just because they are nice but I don't think they are on top of their job. I was told it will take 3 weeks for my glasses to get done and after they promised to call me to let me know if I needed to pay extra for the upgraded lenses that I agreed on, they never called. I called back almost a month later only to find out that my prescription glasses were still on hold, they said they are waiting for me to confirm. (no calls no nothing) Finally they said it will take another 2 weeks to have them done even though I told them at this point it should be expedited and this is the third week and I just called only to get a brief "not yet" answer and they could not give me an ETA. Went in for an eye exam at the end of 2020, everything was fine, accommodating to me having my kids with me, however, when I called to place an order after trying a trial pair of contacts, I left a message and they never called me back. A month later I called again, asked what my insurance covered (as this was never discussed in my inital appointment) the guy said he would have to call me back. Waited another 2 weeks and they never called me back so I called to get a copy of my prescription they wouldn't email it to me (said it was a HIPPA violation), I had to go in the store to get a paper copy...eventually I picked it up at the store and they didn't even ask for my ID to prove who I was, just asked my name. How is THAT not a HIPPA violation but emailing it to me was? Then I go to purchase contacts elsewhere (mind you I tried new trials as the brand I was wearing for years just aren't cutting it anymore) and they wrote I could only purchase the old brand I had been wearing. no where did they note on my file (oh and they are a paper only filing system, what is this 1995?) that I took a trial of a different brand so they can't change it because it was supposedly a HIPPA violation. This person clearly does not know what a HIPPA violation is. The person who gave me the trials can recall giving me a different brand but I would need to see the dr (and I'm sure they were going to charge me an office fee for it) to change it. Never will I go there or ever recommend them. read more

I would not recommend this place. I stopped by one day because my frames were becoming too loose and I wanted them tightened. This place was right around the corner from me so I went because of convenience. The optician tightened my frames by heating the plastic and they seemed to fit much better. I couldn't see out of them because I had my contact lenses in, but later that night I could not see out of the one lens- it was like a thumbprint blocking my view- I then noticed the one lens was fractured...there were tiny cracks in the lens where the optician had bent the frame to try and fix it- I could not see out of the lens anymore. I took them back to the store the next day and they told me they would order me a new lens. However, they said they could not tell what the rx of the lens was or the type of lens and that I needed to supply this information. Unfortunately, the optical shop I had bought the glasses from had closed so I didn't have that info other than the rx. I ended up having to buy a new set of lenses because I wanted the lenses to match (rather than them guessing the type of lens and not matching the unbroken one). They told me they would cover the cost of the broken lens but I would have to pay for the other - $120. They said it would take 2 weeks. The lenses ended up taking over a month to come in (thank goodness I had an older back up pair at home) and when I went to pick them up, they seemed very reluctant to tighten the frames to fit my face. Which is the whole reason I stopped by in the first place. So basically, I paid $120 and my problem was never remedied. Yes, I have new lenses (that I didn't need) but glasses are still loose. Staff is unprofessional and seems very annoyed to try and help. I would not recommend them! Now have to find a new place to fix my glasses that I waited a month to get back. read more

They took an extraordinarily long time to get my glasses done. My husband had an appointment a week after mine and he got his glasses a week before I got a call that my frames had been broken. While picking up my husband's glasses, I was told that an employee went on vacation and didn't submit my order. They refused to compensate me in any way for their error. 5.5 - 6 weeks is unreasonable and unacceptable to wait for new glasses. This was the first and last time that we will deal with Crystal Vision Center. read more

It is unfortunate that I feel compelled to write this review, as the doctor was very thorough and professional, but the customer service and communication of the office staff is poor at best. My first call to the office to schedule an appointment went unanswered, and a message was left. Nobody called me back. My next call resulted in a scheduled appointment. While I was a few minutes early to my appointment, I didn't see the doctor until about 20 minutes after I had been sitting there, as the ladies working the front were busy and unable to help me right away. Not that big of a deal. The doctor completed my eye exam and contact lens prescription and a nice woman sat with me and went over my payment and ordering options. I was told to call back to order after deciding if I was happy with the new prescription. When I called back to place my order, the office was closed and I left a message. Nobody called me back, again. When I called to inquire about my lenses being ordered, I was told that they didn't get my message and they would call me back. When they called me back I was told that the pair of contact lenses I was given following my eye exam was a 2 week lens, and NOT a daily lens, which is what I have been wearing for several years. Nobody at Crystal Vision told me this and I threw the lens away at the end of the day, thinking it was a daily lens. When I explained this to the woman on the phone, she was not apologetic or understanding, but rather annoyed, as I was NOW in need of contact lenses fast b/c my old daily wear supply was going to run out in 5 days and my new ones would likely not arrive for 7-10 business days. She indicated that she did not have another pair of my lenses in the office, nor something else that would work in the interim, and continued to ask me if I wanted to place my order. I am going to be OUT of contact lenses in 5 days, so of course I want to place my order, and I am not unhappy with the lenses, I am unhappy with the SERVICE! When I asked to speak with the manager or office supervisor, I was told that there was nothing that could be done other than asking for the order to be overnighted (which was my suggestion) or calling another office to see if they had my prescription on hand. read more
