Wow! Crystal Shield did an amazing job wrapping my new CT5 Blackwing in Suntek Ultra clear PPF. This is the second car that I own which was done by Norbert who owns Crystal Shield. The first car was a 2017 Shelby Mustang GT350 that I am the second owner of. The first owner had the car wrapped by Crystal Shield when it was brand new, seven years ago. I was impressed by the quality of the 7-year-old GT350, and the Suntek film on that car is still like brand new with no sign of dulling, cracking, or lifting anywhere. I found the receipt in my paperwork to see if I could find the same shop for my new Cadillac. Crystal Shield relocated to Temecula a couple of years ago, but I was happy to find that it was here and that it was Norbert who worked on the GT350 and who works on all of the cars himself. After meeting Norbert in person, one thing that stood out is just how passionate he is about his work and about the cars. He is a true artist and master craftsman. There are a few things that stood out about the Cadillac job. This was not only the front, but the front, hood, fenders, doors, rear quarters and a lot of trim. When Norbert was able to use the available patterns he did so and even made some adjustments to them so that, for example, he could avoid a seam to produce a better look. The Cadillac Blackwing has full carbon fiber seatbacks that look amazing, but are in a position where someone sitting behind could probably scratch one easily and so I wanted to protect them. While there was no official pattern available for the seatbacks, he created a custom wrap that looks amazing at a reasonable price. In another example, there was a small 20th-anniversary decal on a piece of trim that Norbert carefully lifted and saved so he could apply it over the PPF to avoid any air pockets showing by applying the film over the decal. It's a small detail, but there are many small details that add up to produce a result that is best in class. I am very satisfied with the results and recommend Crystal Shield to everyone. read more

I picked up my car from Norbert at Crystal Autoshield not that long ago. Another fantastic job. What can I say, that I haven't said already? I actually had Norbert do my rear bumper this time. If you're wondering why I had that done when the front bumper takes all the damage, read on. Prior to having my rear bumper unprotected, I often times found my legs/body leaning/rubbing against the bumper when getting items in and out of the trunk. I'm a pretty active person, so I carry a lot of outdoors gear. And every time I access my trunk, I would find myself over-reaching for things, so I wasn't directly leaning on my bumper. Also after a long workout, I'd find myself dripping with sweat and eventually it would find its way on my rear bumper. It doesn't help that I have a "low to the ground" car. Now, I don't have to worry so much about those things. As I mentioned on a previous review, Norbert allows people to drop off and pick up their vehicles at unconventional times that might be more convenient for you. Most recently, Norbert had a very special family celebration and accommodated me during this time. Had I known how important this family time was, I would have re-scheduled. Norbert is one of the most honest people you can meet. His pricing is extremely competitive, the quality of his work is impeccable, and his eye for precision is like a Swiss watch maker. Once again, Norbert tried to talk me out of getting some things done (in order to save me money). However, for my needs and lifestyle, I needed his expertise to get those things on my car completed. And as always, he over-delivered. If you need to get the type of work Norbert offers, I highly recommend you go to him. His work carries a warranty (you will receive warranty paperwork after work completion). If anything, don't listen to me. Read his online reviews. Those reviews speak for itself. I had Norbert with Crystal Shield install Paint Protection Film on our two new Teslas a few months back. He did an excellent job on the installs, and is meticulous in the work he does, and uses top quality materials. Fast forward a few months, I pullled up too far on a high curb on my front bumper and scraped it up. Not only did the PPF save my paint from any damage (and a likely $1K trip to the body shop to fix it), Norbert was able to remove and replace the damaged film at a very reasonable price in no time. I drive an hour each way to have this PPF installed, and it is well worth the time and money to do so. His workmanship is top notch and at the same time, you will find his service cost lower than other places. He takes time to explain the process, how to take care for the car after the application. Norbert is the owner and he is the one that will work on your car. Therefore, you know that he will take good care since it will reflect on his business directly, compared to larger detail shops that have workers on payroll that might not care much at all but to finish the job. I started the process by requesting for a quote on his website. He will reply within 24 hours with a price. After you agree on the price, he will work with you in regards to scheduling and will provide you with the address to his garage. I chose to get the Platinum Package which is a full front wrap on my BMW 340i. Since I work during daytime, he allowed me to drop off my car at his place the night before at 9PM. This is a flexibility you will not find in other detail shops. He works on your car all day then he will let the car sit for a half-day to a day for the PPF to be settled, so it takes about 2 days for the car to be finished completely and ready to be picked up. This is for the Platinum Package, cheaper applications might be less time. Fast forward a week. The highlight of Norbert's service was reapplying PPF to my reflectors. I chose to get painted reflectors for my BMW 340i and I brought them in to Norbert initially as separate pieces before installing. After he applied the PPF I took them to a local body shop to get them installed. The mechanic mistakenly tried to peel the PPF on one of the reflectors to about 3mm then he realized what he was doing and stopped peeling and just plopped it back on. I was so furious that they did that ignorantly. Obviously, the PPF was lifted since it was peeled off and it looked awful. Well, I called Norbert to save the day. He quickly scheduled me in and reapplied the PPF on the reflector for a small tip. He fix it completely brand new and also gave me a peace of mind! Awesome!
