I recently had Gilberto come out and do a ceramic tint for my front windshield on my vehicle. He offers a 75-80% for the front (shield IR). I have no complaints against his responsiveness through yelp in explaining what he offers, and the ease in setting up the appointment with a great way to put a down payment for the work. I believe I was quoted reasonably for the work compared to quotes I received from other shops. Best part of his service is the mobile factor and not having to travel and wait somewhere else. Gilberto was pretty much on time and had the windshield done in about an hour. From what I can see so far the work seems professional minus some marks left inside the car (wet spots) from the work. My only complaints are not being transparent about the warranty (never mentioned nor did I get a warranty card like other reviewers are posting about) and the fact that he didn't accept checks but accepts cash. I get there's more risk in accepting a personal check but when you're literally at the person's house and know where they live I would have a bit of trust and be more open to accepting alternative methods of payments because not everyone has loads of cash on them all the time. Overall I would say Gilberto offers a good value. Time will tell after the tint he installed dries up in terms of his quality in work but so far fingers crossed pleased with the process. *update - not even a week later and a small finger style bubble popped up in the front windshield; reached out to Gilberto who just offered to refund the whole purchase (not redo it) - so overall a bit bummed out it didn't work out in one shot and a crease developed while he laid the film on it; oh well back to square 1....I also never received the warranty card he had promised via email not that it matters anymore... read more
