I can't say enough good things about Miguel and Lunas HT Service. After another local hot tub…read moreservice vendor left us high and dry, Miguel came in and completely turned things around. We had converted our 2006 spa from a bromine system to a saltwater setup, but the person who did the conversion basically bailed when it came to actually helping us maintain it. We were left confused and disappointed--especially since keeping a hot tub clean and balanced takes more than just flipping a switch. Then Miguel showed up. Right away, he knew exactly what he was doing. He adjusted the salt and chemicals, cleaned out the filters, made sure the jets were working, and offered flexible service options--weekly, biweekly, etc. We picked a plan that worked for our budget, and now I can just relax knowing everything is taken care of. He's reliable, responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work. Whether it's fixing jets, doing a deep clean, or keeping the chemicals balanced, Miguel handles it all. If you need someone dependable who really understands hot tubs--especially saltwater systems--Miguel is your guy. So glad we found him.

I first spoke with Misty on the phone and told her the issue I was having with my Jacuzzi J-460 (which had been pre-diagnosed by my electrician), and she was quite lovely in describing the cost of repair. It was a failed heater pump. I also needed a drain and clean since it had been some time that I had used it due to the heater pump issue. Her quoted price was fair and was NOT elevated after the service was performed, as some companies tent to do. Justin came, on time and was scheduled, replaced the faulty part and completed a very thorough drain and clean. The unit looked like new afterwards. I am very happy that I chose Spa Pros. I recommend them and I will schedule them again to care of my Jacuzzi!

Over the years he has provided professional, quality and technical service. Once I had a variety of problems he walked me through which I should fix first then perhaps wait on the others. In the end he fixed it completely. He's a patient listener, kind and extremely knowledgeable due to his long years of experience. He schooled me as to which chemicals to buy to maintain my spa. I most recently saw that my spa was leaking. I called him and he came right over the next day. Of course the spa was suddenly completely dry and showed no leaks. We just finished a complete renovation of our pool with Oscar's Pool Service, and I can honestly…read moresay it was one of the best decisions we've made as homeowners. When we bought our house three years ago, we knew the pool needed to be redone. Unfortunately, because of other major repairs, we had to wait. Our house was a flip, and whoever patched up the pool before us did a quick, cosmetic job that started falling apart within months. The plaster came off in sheets, the 1960s tile was covered in decades of calcium buildup, the coping was old red brick with mortar literally crumbling out, and some jets and plumbing didn't even work. The pool was technically swimmable, but it was depressing to look at. This summer our weekly pool cleaner told us the plaster was about to fail completely, so we started calling around for estimates. Most of the big corporate companies gave us inflated quotes and made us feel like just another job number. A trusted friend recommended Oscar's, so we checked Yelp, saw all the great reviews, and gave him a call. Oscar came out immediately, took careful measurements, walked us through every detail, and his knowledge and professionalism instantly won our trust. From there, the process moved quickly. Within a week of signing, his crew demoed the entire pool in just a few hours. We got to choose tile from several suppliers and ended up with a beautiful pebble mosaic that matched our house. At first, we thought we'd keep the old red brick coping, but at the last minute we switched to a modern dark gray brick. Best decision ever! It completely transformed the look of our backyard. As often happens with older homes, surprises came up: our original 1964 gas and electrical lines were corroded and had to be replaced. Oscar handled everything--brought in trusted contractors, coordinated the work, and saved us the headache of dealing with multiple companies. While we were at it, we upgraded our equipment to a top-of-the-line Jandy system with Wi-Fi controls, plus added a heater and automatic pool filler. Yes, the budget went up, but every upgrade was worth it. Watching the transformation was amazing. Once the new tile, coping, and plaster went in, it felt like we had a brand-new pool built from scratch. The white plaster makes the water sparkle, the equipment runs quietly and efficiently, and with the heater and lights, we can swim comfortably day or night, year-round. Beyond the work itself, what made the experience so special was Oscar and his family. He's personable, honest, hardworking, and clearly cares about his craft. His crew was professional, respectful, and fast. By the end, it felt like we weren't just hiring a contractor--we were working with people who truly cared about making our home better. Now every time we step into our backyard, we can't believe the difference. What was once an eyesore is now the centerpiece of our home, and we're enjoying it constantly. If you need pool renovation, plaster, tile, coping, or even just reliable weekly service in the San Fernando Valley--call Oscar's. He's the best! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DKKSP_c4UY

The rate he gave us to do the job was reasonable, and very competitive. After Juan arrived to do the job, he told me that our Pentair WhisperFlo pool pump was far superior than the XtremepowerUS pool pump I had purchased to replace it. He told me that all I really needed to do was to have the pool pump motor replaced. Frankly, I had forgotten that replacing the the pool pump motor was an option. We had done that many years before with a refurbished pool pump motor so that we could continue using our Pentair WhisperFlo pool pump. Juan's honesty about it impressed me, especially since he could have simply done the job as I hired him to do, and he would have made more money. So not only did he save me a good amount of money, but he left me and my wife better off than we otherwise would have been had he installed the inferior XtremepowerUS pool pump. As for the installation of the pool pump motor, he answered every question that I had about it, and he taught me a few things in the process, which I really appreciated. Thanks to Juan, I now have a much better understanding about how our Pentair WhisperFlo functions in relationship with the pool pump motor he installed. The next time I need help with pool equipment, or anything else pool related, Juan will definitely be the expert I'll be contacting. His expertise is invaluable, and I highly recommend his services.

We hired project manager Al of Exodus Construction and Remodeling to update the original backyard pool. From day one, Al was there answering questions and adding ideas. As first time pool owners we appreciated his expertise. His timeline, explanations and regular visits were very helpful as we went through demo of pool and the cement patio. The various crews he employed for each step provided quality construction and cleaned up their worksites when completed. With Al's guidance and encouragement we felt very comfortable during the process. We decided to add a spa, resurfaced both pool and spa with micro pebbles, added pavers to the patio, and had a patio cover built. Al's project manager's assistant Eli was very helpful when Al could not be there. We highly recommend Exodus Construction. FIVE stars!!
