I booked an appointment for two people at 5:30 on a Friday. (I asked for a set of gel nails after the pedicure but was told there were no appointments.... The place was EMPTY until we left, The only person who came in seemed like another employee to have a nail fixed.) We arrived a little early so we expected to wait a bit. There were only two employees in the salon (Fairview location) and one was doing a pedicure on another woman. The one employee seated us at our pedicure tubs and told us to soak our feet. We assumed that meant the pedicures would start soon. After about 10-15 minutes of soaking, the one employee wasn't anywhere near bring done the other woman's pedicure and our feet were becoming uncomfortable. After we took them out for a few minutes, one employee started on my feet. My poor Mom had to sit and wait at least another 40 minutes until hers started... and they expected her to soak her feet the whole time.... we booked this appointment almost a week in advance... come on! The appointment was to have both pedicures at the same time.... Not separately.
The employee who did my pedicure had her long hair hanging down and it kept touching my feet... GROSS! She wore short shorts, a t-shirt, and a baseball hat, how inappropriate.
The two female employees were also extremely unprofessional and have no customer service skills at all in my opinion. I am a former Aesthetician who can no longer work in the field due to an injury and would have never spoken to my coworker or clients the way these two employees did. My mom complimented the one employee on her sparkly nail (which was on her middle finger) and she stated: "It's really funny for when I flip someone off!" They also swore and heckled each other mercilessly. They were downright mean to each other! They threw insults at each other and put each other down whenever they got the chance. We nervously laughed out of complete shock and lack of knowing what to say. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate.
The bathroom was DISGUSTING! There was toothpaste in a zip lock bag on the shelf and makeup all over the bathroom sink. There was also nothing to dry your hands on. Absolutely awful.
The pedicure tub next to my Mom was filthy. It was set up to be used for a new client... uhhh... I wish I had been able to see what my tub looked like before I was seated at it full of blue water, most likely to hide how disgusting it was. I wish I had asked how they were cleaned.
This place is the definition of gross and incompetent hidden by pretty decorations.
Don't go here if you want a clean spa with friendly, kind, and attentive staff. These girls hardly even looked at our feet until they were doing the polish application which was pretty much the only half decent thing about this place.... AVOID.
