When she was done I made it clear that I was not happy with the lashes at which point she proceeded to gaslight me and basically say "oh they look so good" even though I kept saying it's not what I asked for and that I was not happy.. i actually think it's the only time she smiled was when she was trying to convince me that I liked them I did attempt to email my concerns about thier poor hygiene , and skill and lack of listening to a customers wishes (because I didn't think they would have appreciated me calling and saying all this when they constantly have customers on speaker phone) nobody ever replied.. it's been over a week.. all lashes have now fallen out because they were SO heavy and have damaged my natural lashes.. (I specifically asked for lighter lashes because I KNOW heavy ones can and will fall off in large clumps and cause Damage which is exactly what they did) I will not go back because it's obvious that they don't actually care what a customer would like, I would however like a refund which I also asked for in my email. Used the drill bit over my cuticles and left them raw on my finger beds. I asked for the nails to be more rounded and I got cut off and basically told to shut up. The nails don't even look how I wanted them to and don't match the picture I showed. The nail tech didnt give me a hand massage and overcharged me. Will not be going back.

I've been coming here for over two decades and have always had great service but Mindy definitely made the biggest difference. My nails aren't the greatest. Typical nail salon. My left index nail is longer then the right index nail. Not very even. Hardly used any gel, nails are very thin. Not impressed. I called a place in burlington that had okay-ish photos on their website..... but when I explained I just wanted a fill and polish change, they said they wouldn't do it and it they'd charge me to remove them and then re-apply a full new set. This is what I didn't want. The shape was what I wanted to keep. Anyways, I live around the corner from Lvy and had seem some advertising so I decided to give it a shot. They looked good now I wanted to see what they could do! Laughs were had and almost immediately as I walked in. I could tell, this is my new nail salon! I found out that there were 2 locations through this so if you're trying to get a session here, select the Kerr Street location. I had to wait for an email confirmation before my pedicure time slot was approved. The one thing I couldn't do online was book multiple appointments for the same time. I was originally hoping to come with a friend. The lot that is next to the building is actually for the orthodontist so you'll have to park along the street in front of the salon. I didn't realize this at first so I had to move my car. I also don't carry change with me but the receptionist was kind of enough to give me a few quarters to feed the meter. I was the first appointment in the morning at 10am and they had everything set up and ready for me. They did have a lot of colours to choose from and it was impressive that they knew the names of the colours too! The massage chair was really nice. I've never been to a place with one where even the seat where your butt goes inflates and stuff. My technician was awesome. She took her time with the polish application and made sure to clean up any areas that were messy. My feet felt great after this and looked even better. They took my temperature, and everyone was wearing masks and gloves and maintaining social distancing. Vicky SAVED my nails after an awful attempt at a gel manicure at home (due to lockdown). She revived my nails, cut and shaped them, redid the biogel, and painted them to perfection with a beautiful red wine colour that she picked out for me. I then headed to get a pedicure by Michelle, who was so gentle and thorough I got goosebumps (the good kind, the kind you get from ASMR) on so many occasions. She scrubbed and exfoliated my legs with lotions, oils, and exfoliants that smelt amazing, and offered me a choice of either a moisturizer massage or a hot stone massage. The hot stones and her massaging was so relaxing I wanted to float to the car rather than step on my feet. She then topped it all off by placing a hot towel over my feet and legs, which felt so nice! Overall, the whole experience took 2 hours (& $110+HST) and was SO WORTH IT after 2 months of lockdown. The salon is clean, pretty, organized, and very well managed. Everyone who works there is so professional and nice. I even used the washroom between treatments and it was extremely clean and cared for. I highly recommend this nail salon and will definitely be coming back again. It truly is a little hidden gem. Tip: If you pay in cash you get a 10% discount. Make sure to tip your nail aestheticians!
