I was in this place once and bought a voucher for my friend in a different occasion. The first time I had my bikini line waxed. I had a lot of waxing in my life (over 10 years now) and that was very painful. The lady barely spoke English and was not simpathetic at all. She was more like a robot, let's get it done quickly so I can take another customer. They didn't provide me with a disposable underwear so my undies had some wax after. I decided not to judge them so I bought my friend a voucher. They have different packages but none suit my needs so asked for a slight change. They were completely unflexible. They are not willing to accomodate the client's needs. Overall I'm not going back even though I live 2 min walk from them! read more

My first time there, I went because I had a gift card. Had mani/pedi, shellac on hands. The experience was terrible, I had two people working on me at the same time. Feet and hands, ackward at best. The tools are not sterilized that I could see The shellac lasted 6 days and they blamed it on my nails. I have had shellac before other places, this is the worst place. Sunny has ensured that ALL avenues of cleanliness have been covered. This is a professional salon that has been revamped to keep the client as well as the staff safe since COVID. Have been going here for pedicures for a few years now and it is amazing every time. Friendly staff, and everything is very clean. I love how they do the hot stone massage and paraffin wax for the pedicure. Have got my mom going here now too for pedicures and manicures and she loves it. I will not be returning to this salon. Very poor service for $62. Plus tip. They criticized my previous mani pedi all while they had a hard time removing my gel polish because they didn't give it enough time to soak off even after I had recommended they let it soak for at least 5 mins. As a result my nails were damaged. 3 people worked on me at the same time while they all spoke and laughed in their native tongue. Very rude and made feel bet uncomfortable. read more

I went there with one of my friends for a girls day this afternoon. We both got a mani and pedi but i got shellac done for my nails. Overall the girl i got did a very decent job.. took her time even though they were busy. My only complaint.. she was lacking creativity. Now im not saying what she did was bad but when i hand you 3-4 colours and say do what you want with them.. i expect a little more. When i say do anything.. i mean do anything. My friend even gave her reference photos for inspiration. She seemed a little lost as to what to do. Overall for a basic mani.. pedi i will definitely go back.. the hot stone massage and parafin wax was excellent. If you're looking for extraordinary.. on trend nails looks i would probably go elsewhere.. or ask to see if anyone specializes in it. read more

Went here for a mani, the woman that did my nails did a fantastic job and was super efficient...but I felt very rushed. When I changed my mind about the colour (before she put it on) she actually rolled her eyes, when she was finished she basically shooed me away to the drying area as fast as she could, however I didn't expect a spa experience paying $20 for a mani. So go in expecting a great (and efficient) manicure, and not much in the service department. The place is nice, a little dark but way nicer than I was expecting. There are a lot of pedi chairs too which I will try next time. They also use new files and buffers for each client and send them home with you, so very sanitary. Also make sure you have cash for tip as they do not allow you to tip using debit or credit. This seems to be fairly common in Ontario? I just moved here from Vancouver so it's a totally new (and strange) concept for me. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back for sure. Bonus: Starbucks next door. read more

Although their website talks about their high level of hygiene, the reality is far from it! The pedi tools are placed on a paper towel on the dirty floor (and often get bumped onto the bare floor). The debris from the foot scraping goes onto the floor and when my towel dropped on the floor the service person just picked it up and continued using it! It does not appear that the wooden foot buffer is sterilized between uses. On the day I was there, the owner was dressed in a filthy looking smock. Will not return! read more

Went for a pedicure and manicure, best one I've had in a long time. Sunny is always around talking to everyone and making sure everyone is happy! All the staff take their time with each person, and my nails lasted for about 2 weeks. Looking forward to going back! read more

I called Sunny's Nail Spa and ask if they did a specific Nail procedure which the lady on the phone answered yes, so I made an appointment. Before the manicurist started I told her what I wanted and she said okay. Long story short she did not understand, and what I received was not what I had asked for and was double the price. Sunny did not care to handle the situation properly and I paid the bill and have told everyone I can about the terrible service I received. Worst service I have ever received. Kept me waiting 20 min for my appointment and then when I finally sat down to get biogel overlay, the technician managed to get gel all over the skin around my nails and didn't use the lamp correctly so no gel stayed on my nails. In trying to clean up the mess the skin around one nail was nicked. If you want a professional looking set of nails with good service I would go elsewhere. read more

I went here for a facial and was very impressed. Beautiful atmosphere and warm and friendly staff. I had one of the best facials ever including a long back, neck and full arm massage. I was very impressed and will go back here again. Bring cash as tips only accepted in cash. And it is conveniently located beside Starbucks for a treat before/after. Wonderful salon! read more

I have had pedicures a number of times previously and was always happy with the service. But, I was shocked when the aesthetician pulled what looked like a small cheese grater out of her smock and used it on my feet! Understand that it makes her job much easier to cut off the callouses as opposed to using a file or pumice but I know that these items are not allowed under health regulations! I should have stopped her. I did not. My heels are still red and burning 24 hours later. I am very worried about potential infection. I will not return. Always had the feeling that they are more concerned about a quick turn around than a relaxing pampering experience. Shame because the location is so convenient for me. read more
