So awful. I walked out $76 poorer, my cuticles with divots on both my toes and fingers and my fingers massacred by rough unnecessary filing. I went in to have an old gel mani removed. Mind you, my nails were half grown out (5 weeks old) and I had peeled a lot of it away. She massacred my fingers by running a super rough file below my cuticles - hello - there was zero polish at the base of my nails. When she was done, every nail was filed paper thin and to add insult to injury, every nail still had bits of gel polish on them!! WTF. I had to ASK her to trim my cuticles and there was zero hand massage. My pedicure was also atrocious. The sides of my toenails should be straight or follow their natural growth and she cut the sides at 45 degree angles. Think trapezoids. Again, divots in the cuticles that burned when she carelessly poured copious amounts of alcohol onto them. Not one toenail looks like it was filed straight across. She dug so much into my big toe that it is now raw. You know it's bad when you get back to your car and immediately re- file all of your nails. She didn't deserve a tip and when I tipped her in cash, she did not even thank me - she grunted at me (yes ok English may not be her first language but still) and looked pleased that she cheated me out of a tip and finished my service of mani pedi and gel removal in 45 minutes. 04/28/19 Back to get another dip and pedicure! I'm happy again. .............. 04/15/19 Man, I broke a nail yesterday. But what I love is that I can come in and get my nails done as a walk-in. I love that Crystal takes her time in doing my nails to get them done right. Kim did a deluxe pedicure on me and I enjoyed the leg massages. Aw ............. 04/03/19 Another beautiful refill of dipped pink powder for my nails done by Crystal. My nails lasted 3 weeks before I came back. This nail salon is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The ladies speak softly and get the job done w ............. Beauty Nails were too busy so I discovered Crystal Nails 3 and got an acrylic dip. My original acrylic nails weren't good anymore and my natural nails underneath were already separating. Crystal did a nice cuticle clean up job and my new acrylics with new tips look great. I'd like go start off by saying wow.. First off I was there first before any other customer came in 4 in which also came in with no appointments I did hear 1 with appointment so they were helping her first. Ok.. The lady that showed me the colors was sweet and showing me what colors and asked me what I wanted and I said oh I want a black frame on tip of an almond shape with some rhinestones she says that's a very cute idea ok.. Then she tell me where to sit and to also tell the guy what I wanted so I again show him and tell him but I do want rhinestones .. I made sure they hear me that was the main thing I wanted The guy does an amazing job with the powder work and making conversation and super sweet Then when I'm asked to rinse my hands He comes up to me and tells me like oh ok so black with rhinestones is your choice and I said well a neutral r beige or brown color would also look cute but my main color that I had decided was black and he said well she can show you different colors and then you can decide and I said oh really that's awesome. So I sit down the lady comes and I told her one color that I wanted and she got it and then I said can I also see this color and then again can I also see this color like she wouldn't let me, tell her all the colors for her not to come back-and-forth so she's like I don't have time for this; I have a customer waiting so I said oh I apologize. OK I'll just go with black then she's like ok and she asked me all of it and I said no I want the frame with the rhinestones? She said OK so she asked me do you want it touching the line which separates your nail from the acrylic and I said yeah that would be good because I don't want that to be showing so she said OK she proceeds to paint them and then she shows them to me which they are very high and she says are they good because I'm not going to change them anymore and I said well I thought we had said we're going to do to the line. She rolls her eyes and tries to fix them which is the picture that was the one that she messed up and she still didn't get to the line you can clearly see my fingers and where the line separates them so I was frustrated by that point because I didn't want to tell her again about it because she was already giving me attitude and being very disrespectful so then she proceeds to do the other hand and everything was going well it until she fixes it mixing the black nail polish with the gel so my thumb is all messy now on my left hand, and I again cannot say anything, or she will give me an attitude as she's finishing I don't know the steps because I am not a professional so I didn't know what she was exactly doing all I noticed she was just putting an oil so I was like wait -- she said OK you're done.. I was like in shock. I was quiet and I looked at her and I was like are you serious and she didn't say anything she just gets up and leaves to go with her customer that was waiting for her when I was there first. You don't understand the upset and mad I was. The client had just walked in five minutes after she was already taking care of me, I was so mad I wanted to cry of frustration. I wanted to tell her that she did everything incorrect. I wanted her to fix it but with her and her horrible very unprofessional disrespecting attitude I will never be going there because of her ! every staff member was very kind until I met her and her attitude she needs to fix that attitude or else people will be reporting her for being disrespectful, and if she is the manager or the owner of that location, she should just fix on her attitude or go to some angry management to fix her patience, and to put her clients priority first rather than being inconsiderate if that client was waiting .. she could have told them that I was there first and that she was still helping me out and if she can wait or if she wanted to come back rather than having that client sit there and wait and making me the one at fault she really ruined what was supposed to be a beautiful set to being a messy disgusting set of acrylics I hate them so much I had to call another place to have to get them fixed, which will cost me MORE money because of very bad work she did. This is a good nail salon! I've been twice now. Both times I've gotten the dip gel manicure. I've only ever done regular gel but a friend turned me on to this place and service...now I'm hooked! This is my new favorite nail salon in Novato! It's the best place period. Crystal did an amazing job on my gel pedi and manicure. She took my old acrylic nails off and took care of my fragile natural nails. Paid great attention to every detail which I appreciate. The atmosphere is very nice, clean, and safe. Lots of great upgraded materials, furniture, etc. They have the best nail color selection. Lastly, they follow COVID-19 guidelines. I'll definitely be back! read more

I have been going to this establishment for almost a year and so far I am very satisfied with the job they do. I have acrylics and do a pretty good job. The only instance where I was not too thrilled with the service was when there was this one young lady who seemed to be learning but I have now made sure to know the names of those who I like and request appointments with them. read more

I've gone here twice. The first time when they opened it was a rushed appt and my gel chipped after three days. I decided to try again and get a dip. My technician cut my nails off without asking, assuming I wanted acrylic, which I did not. She didn't touch my cuticles, but managed to cut two of my fingers with a file. The staff is rude and difficult to work with. I will no longer come and spend money on work that is not up to par. So- Let me give background. I went in last Saturday to get my nails done and the girl seemed to be very new with acrylics. I was like for almost two hours because she put acrylics on that didn't match the size of my fingers and I had her take some off to fit- so it took awhile. So I went back into have them fixed or get a refund because it was a mess. I get there yesterday and the woman they had take my nails off got me with the electric thing TWICE. She cut my fingers and it hurt like hell. The girl who originally did the nails then starts to criticize my fingers and my nail bed basically saying my fingers aren't straight and that's why she struggled to put the acrylics on in the first place. WHO DOES THAT? As a business you don't blame customers so I politely said - I've never had an issue. So... They sit me with Trang once it's finished and Trang (who's my normal person) does no better. She took her time fixing them so thank you but 2.5 hours in total to correct my nails - tooooo long and with that time my nails should be perfect ESPECIALLY the price I paid- but nope. This place is absolutely awful. I had the worst experience and was treated HORRIBLY. I asked for a simple full set and the lady had 10 years of experience and couldnt/wouldn't make all my nails the same length. She hadn't even put the powder on yet but every single nail were completely different lengths and she made me feel like I was asking too much to fix the ones she cut too short....she flat out refused to do anything I asked and was extremely unprofessional. My favorite nail salon ever!!! I live in SF and any chance I get to come North I make sure to go for my powder dip nails. Crystal of Crystal Nails does an impeccable job. Not only that, but my nails last a FULL MONTH without breaking!! (Of course I make sure to wear rubber gloves when washing dishes). I usually get French Manicure and sometimes I get color, but always alway always powder dip because it never destroys my nails!! My nails grow long, strong, and healthy with powder dip - it's soooo awesome. To top it all, it's less expensive to get them done here then the one around the corner and actually most places I've been. The salon is beautiful too. If I could give it more stars I would. Very rude people running this salon. I made an appointment and they could have cared less that I was there The pedicure water was cold. I asked to warm it. No answer. The pedi was average, manicurist was awful. She spoke in her language and never acknowledged that I was there. I had clear on my fingers and it's peeling 24 hours later. Nope never to go back.
