Do not give them your business…read more I was excited when I purchased a ring here and got some repairs done and experienced great service from Diane. I figured I would give them my business when I needed to get appraisals done on all of my jewelry. That's when my first interaction occurred with the owner Brian. Working in Retail as an executive for 15+ years myself, I'm experience in great, good, mediocre, and abysmal service. When the appraisal for my wedding ring and Rolex came back 30% lower than the appraisals from the place I originally purchased them at, I called to inquire. He spoke to me like I was ignorant and talked in circles about how he did me a favor by low-balling the appraisal. I found him to be incredibly untrustworthy, demeaning, not truthful, and someone I would not encourage giving your hard-earned dollars to. It will spoil a lovey experience like buying jewelry.

We spoke with the salesman and he quoted us "around two hundred dollars". We thought that was more than fair of a price. When we went to pick up the ring we were very satisfied with the work, but our bill was $595.00. Almost three times the estimated price is ridiculous.

The price I was given on the spot was very fair. Albert looked at my jewelry, tested it and even had it reevaluated to make sure his appraisal was honest. He then gave me options regarding the jewelry I brought to him, both of which were no pressure. Good pricing and honesty is hard to find when it comes to buying, selling and appraisals. Also, I would recommend coming to check out the diamond ring selection. They're stunning and custom designs can also be made.

He also replaced the mainspring just as a matter of course (which he said he was going to do, and indeed, as Omega always does when you send the watch to them, no matter what). He quoted a figure, I gave him a deposit, and he gave me a date of two weeks out (which is awesome for a C/O/A job on a 140-part movement). I later phoned in that I wanted an Omega buckle on the new wrist strap. He tracked one down! And the balance? Exactly what he promised, even though he replaced a part that he didn't initially see was faulty. He returned all the replaced parts to me. This man took care of this watch as if it were his own. Next up for him is my grandmother's mantel clock. If you take a glance around his shop, you'll see the man knows a thing or two about mantel clocks as well. I 100% got my money's worth from this experience.

I was lucky it has lasted 8 years with no issues, but alas, this happened. I asked for recommendations on a local jeweler and Laura's name came up a few times, as well as being incredibly conveniently located (5 minutes from home!). I called for an appointment and scheduling was easy. For my appointment, I came in and was greeted warmly, and then she got to work. I was BLOWN AWAY by her expertise, as well as her catching 2 smaller diamonds on my band and halo missing. I had planned on "shopping around" and getting quotes, but after just 5 minutes, I knew there was no way I would find anything better. Due to the cut of my diamond, she needed to get some different sizes in and I knew this would take some time. When the first batch wasn't right, she had new ones overnighted so I wouldn't have to wait longer. The second batch was beautiful, and I even upgraded my center diamond. Off it was whisked to get fixed and when I got the call it was ready, I wasted absolutely NO TIME getting to the store to pick it up. Upon pickup, I felt like I had just gotten engaged all over again. I could not stop staring at it, and needed my husband to drive home so I could continue staring at it in the sun. It was beautiful work, and I was so pleased with the results. I found that the pricing to replace my diamonds and get my ring fixed was very reasonable compared to my research online, as well as the timeline to have everything taken care of. The personal touch was absolutely wonderful, and meeting the family was a huge plus, too! Highly recommend!!
